giving all diligence, add to your faith. vitue;
and to virtue, knowledge;
and to knowledge, self-control;
and to self-control, patience;
and to patience, Godliness;
and to Godliness, brotherly kindness;
and to brotherly kindness, love;
And when you have reach to love then love will perfected you.
Through Love you will be able to fulfill God's law and cover multitude of sin because love transform life to the likeness of his glorious body, Jesus Christ.
Let me take you back two thousand years ago to a man by the name of Paul.
Paul was a Jew, born in Tarsus of Cilicia, brought up in the city of Jerusalem under the care and guidance of Gamalief, and trained perfectly according to the law of his fathers, was zealous toward God.
Paul who was called Saul filled with anger and with threats of murder against the disciples of the lord ask the high priest to give him letters to the synagogues at Damascus, that if he should find anyone, man and woman, following this faith (teaching and preaching in the name of JESUS CHRIST) he might bring them bound to Jerusalem.
He persecuted this religion to the death, binding and delivering into prisons both men and women.
But something happen when Saul drew near to Damascus, at about noon, suddenly a great light from heaven shone round about him and he fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him, Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?
After he spoke to the lord he was sent to Damascus where he was told all things which are appointed for him to do.
From that moment Paul could not see and was led by the hand of them that were with him.
Later a man by the name Ananias lay his hand on Paul and his eyes were open and he received his sight.
Since that day on his life was changed he became a witness for God before all men.
Paul was a man that was diligence to preach and teach the gospel.
He pleases God in all things until he finish the work he had been called to do, that was his main goal.
We can open the bible and look into the New Testament the book of Romans, 1st and 2nd Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, 1st and 2nd Thessalonians, 1st and 2nd Timothy, Titus, and Philemon, and all these books mention how much the Apostle Paul love the church with a sincerely heart; he sacrifice himself to bless and encourage the brethren.
Many time because he stood up for the true he peril for his life.
As you read his books you will find evidence where Paul suffer persecution, imprisonment, hunger, peril, and many more hardship for the sake of God, for the sake of the gospel and for the sake of the brethren.
But Paul never stop teaching the right way of God and his good example of love and teaching turn many souls to God and they follow his foot steps.
Now lets continue with the lesson and lets us go to the Second Page.
