Paul believe that we die everyday for the sake of the brethren and that we are accounted as lambs for the slaughters.
He remind us that nothing shall be able to separated us from the love of God which is in Jesus Christ Our Lord
Searching the written letters of Paul and Peter and James that they wrote to the churches we can read the hardship that they went through
- Peter in jail and was releases by the angel [Acts 12:3-11]
- Paul was accused falsely for teaching the Jews to forsake the law of Moses. He was beating by the moab. [Acts 21:20-32]
- Paul ship was shipwrecked but God spare Paul and all the life on the ship except the ship [Acts 27:9-44]
- Paul defense himself from those brethren who had a bad habit of judging by outward appearance, they thought that Paul was weak and his speech foolish. but Paul defended himself by responding back through his letter that the way he express himself in his epistles when he is away, so is he also in deed when he is present. He conclude that it is not the one who praises himself who is approved, but the one whom the Lord commends [2nd corinthians 10:6-18]
- Paul mentioned that he as a minister of God he was wounded, imprisonments more frequently, danger of death many times, scourged five times, each time forty stripes less one, three time beating with rods, once stoned, three times shipwreck, a day and night beeing adrift in the sea in shipwreck, many journey he have been in perils from rivers, in peril of robbers, in perils from his own kinsmen, in perils from the Gentiles, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils form false brethren, in toil and weariness, in sleepless nights, in hunger and thirst, through many fasting, in cold and nakedness and many more [2nd corinthians 11:21-28]
- Paul in the book of Philippians teach us not to worry over things and that those things we learned, received and heard and see in Paul to do also; and God of peace shall be with you. Here teach that a man or a woman of God should learned to meet their own needs and to be thankful for all things. when there come a time you become poor or rich or gone through many things and experienced many things, both to be full and to be hungry, both to have plenty and to be in want, say to yourself i know what it is to go through anything in life but still i can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me; God will supply all my needs according to his riches in the glory of Jesus Christ [Philippians 4:6-19]
- Peter mentioned that suffering for righteousness' sake is a blessing, he said, If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you. And if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed,... He also say, the trails that come upon you are to prove you and that you should rejoice, for you are partakers of Christ's suffering. Again you are blessed when you are reproached for the name of Christ. He exhort to those Christians that suffers not to be ashamed but to glorify God through that very name; And that not to be afraid of those who terrify you, neither be troubled. Peter conclude that those who suffer according to the will of God commit their souls to him in well doing as to a faithful Creator
- James also said, "Take it as a joy to you when you enter into many and varied temptations; for the trials of faith will increase your patience. Let your patience be a perfect work, that you may be perfect and entire, lacking nothing. He said, count them happy who endure."
- God want you to humble yourself to him, so he may exalt you in due time, Casting all your cares upon God for he cares for you. Be vigilant and be cautious, rise up, therefore against the devil, be steadfast in the faith (during your suffering), God of all grace, will strengthen you to endure these little afflictions (that the adversary bring against you to devour you), that you may be made steadfast and remain in him for ever [1st Peter 3:14; 4:12-19; 5:6-10]
- James teached the same teaching that Peter and Paul taught. He say, submit yourselves therefore to God (to his word). Resist Satan, and Satan will flee from you [James 4:7]
