God - You - Satan
The LORD - And You - Against The Enemy
Have A Relationship with God.
Jesus says to legends to leave the man's heart and he gave them access to attack a field full of swine (Matthew 8:31-32)
Jesus said to the fig tree, “let there be no fruit on you again forever. And shortly the fig tree withered” (Matthew 21:18-22).
Jesus rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still.” And the wind quieted down, and there was a great calm… and men said to each other, oh who is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him? (Mark 4:37-40).
The Lord God says to Satan, "Behold, all that Job has is in your power. God places every thing that Job had into Satan’s hand for him to kill his children, field, animals and those people who works for him. Even Job’s body was stricken by sickness after the Lord God gave access, the green light to Satan to touch his body, but Satan was not allow to touch his soul (Job chapter one and two).
God was looking for someone who wills persuade Ahab King of Israel to go to battle and be slain at Ramath Gilead.
A spirit approach God and told him, “I will persuade him.”
The Lord asks him “in which way?”
The spirit responds to the Lord God, “by being a lying spirit in the mouth of king’s prophets.”
The Lord God like the ideas and he says to him, you shall persuade him and prevail also (1 Kings 22:19-23; 2 Chronicles 18:19-22).
After David sin, God offer him three disasters for him to choose; David choose not be delivered into the hand of men; and God sent pestilence upon Israel and also he sent his angel who has a sword to destroy the people of Jerusalem (1 Chronicles 21:8-20).
Jesus said to peter, “Satan want to or desire to have you, to sift you like wheat.
But I made supplication for you that your faith may not weaken and even you in time will repent and strengthen your brethren” (Luke 22:31-32).
Jesus knew that Judah was going to betray him. After Jesus dipped the bread he gave it to him and Satan took possession of Judah to delivery Jesus Christ for money.
Jesus told him to do it soon and he left. (Luke 22:1-3; John 13:26-27).
After Saul was rejected for disobeying God's word the bible say an evil spirit from the Lord tormented him. (1 Samuel 16:23).
Why this thing happens to people?
People are not always walking in the spirit of love neither obeying the saying of the Lord.
This is why things like this happen.
Those who walk in God’s law the Lord protect them.
Could it happen that the Lord might come against a person who is perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and turn away from evil, even to destroy him without any cause because the devil movedst the Lord against him?
The devil is an accuser who accuses people the same way he accuse Job.
The accuser said to God, Does Job reverence God for nought?
You have rest your hand of protection upon him, and upon his house and upon his children and upon everything that he has everywhere.
You bless the work of his hands and his substance is increased in the land.
The devil was saying to God, Job reverence you for something, for the exchange of the good things you gave him and the protection of the whole family.
Reverence in exchange of your blessing.
The devil is saying to God, Job integrity is the reason for what you have done for him.
But put forth thy hand now, and destroy all that he has, and he will curse thee to thy face.
God made his own decision to come against Job in order to allow Satan to prove to him that Job reverence him in exchange of the blessing.
Job biggest fear was to loose his family.
But God is going to see for himself if Job will continue to hold on to his integrity no matter what happen to him.
Nothing will stop the Lord now, he is going to do his will.
You have to understand in those time in Job’s generation having many children, fields, animals, and many material things was a blessing from God to his people who reverence and seek him with all their heart; and the devil knows it.
People knew in those times that God was with you by the blessing and protection of the Lord in your home and in your life too.
To be in poverty and losing everything and having your body ill in those times in the eyes of the Jews, it was a curse and according to them you have miss God somewhere.
If you read the story of Job chapter 2 up to almost the last chapter you will find many times that those who came to visit him accuse him and judge him because they thought Job committed sins and God was mad at him and this was the cause and the reason of the curses which came to him and to his family, and he is paying now with suffering and with pain.
But in this situation it was different case God did what he did because he was moved by Satan against Job.
The scripture said, "And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou moved me against him, to destroy him without cause." (Job 2:3)
Therefore God gave ways to Satan to destroy everything that belong to Job and his family, for everything that Job possesses and his family God gave it to him and God can take it away.
The Lord gave Satan the access to do evil against Job in order to prove to God that Job reverence him for exchange of his protection and blessing.
Job lost everything, but still all his suffering didn’t stop him loving and blessing God.
He continues to hold fast to his integrity unto the end.
God said to Satan, “behold, all that Job has is in your power; only upon himself you shall not put forth your hand.”
The devil attacks him but it did not work for him.
Now Satan needed another strategies because the first one did not works for him.
Later on, Satan shows up and accuse Job again and he said to God, “skin for skin, yea all that a man has will he give for his life, to save it.
But put forth your hand now, and touch his flesh or his bone, and he will curse you to your face.”
And the Lord said to Satan, “Behold, he is delivered into your hands; only spare his life.”
Job was once again tested by the devil.
Job was smote with sickness from the sole of his foot to his brain [Job was smote with cancer].
This test of the devil was cruel and harsh but did not work for him either; it did not move Job; he remains just, truthful and faithful to God.
Job continues to hold fast to his integrity and the Lord God blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning (Job 1:8-12; 2:1-8; 42:1-15).
The devil like to accuse and to destroy people life too.
Jesus tell Peter, Satan wanted to sift all of you like wheat; but I have made supplication for you that your faith may not weaken and even you in time will repent and strengthen your brethren.(Luke 22:31-32)
Jesus knew what was going to happen to Peter if he did not made supplication for him that his faith may not weaken; Jesus knew that Peter would not repent nor will he be there for his brethren to strengthen them, but Jesus had another plan for Peter and he will make sure his plan will be accomplished.
A man of God who meditates in his word and do them the Lord will bless him.
The angel’s of God encamp around him and delivery and defend him.
The bible also says that those who obey his commandments, God will guards them and save them and honor them.
And the evil one will not come near you, neither touches you, nor harms you, because God's love abides in you and his love casts out fear (1 John 4:18).
By submitting yourselves to God and resist Satan, he will flee from you because God’s love who is pour into your heart by his Spirit cast out fear because fear is tormenting (fear are evil; Deuteronomy 28:1,2; Psalms 34:7; James 4:7; 1 John 3:24; 5:18).
The word says, “no evil befall you neither any plagues (sickness) come near your dwelling” and thanks God that his love casts out fear too (1 John 4:18; Psalms 91:10).
Unless God delivery you into Satan's hands, Satan cannot come near you, neither touch you, nor harm you.
If you give the devil a motive to come to God to present to him a case against you that you are seeking God in exchange for his blessing, you are in big trouble.
Job was a perfect and upright man, who reverence God, who has turn away from evil and who has hold on to his integrity, but unfortunately his only weakness was the fear of suffering affliction [misfortune] that might befallen on him.
Satan destroy everything that Job had because his fear gave him away.
Fear open the door to Satan to come and take advantage over him, over his possessions and over his family.
Satan's intention was to steal, to kill, and to destroy him (John 10:10).
Satan’s plan for Job was to eliminate him.
But at the end the power of Satan did not overcome Job's sincere love towards God.
You may says, "What prove do you have on your statement that Job's fear was the motive the devil use it against him?"
In the beginning of the story of Job it tell us what was the things Job's fear, he was afraid for the life of his children.
Job's fear that his children might have sinned and curse God in their heart.
He fear what God might do to his children.
Job came to the presence of God and sanctify his children; Job rose early in the morning and offered a burn offerings according the number of them all continually in order for God to have mercy on his children.
But you know the rest of the story what happen to his children and all that he had in his possessions.
After the devil destroy all that Job had in his possessions and Added on Job an illness on all his body, Job express in his pain and suffering that the things which he greatly fear has come upon him and that which he was afraid of has befallen on him.
Look again in the book of Job 1:5; 3:25.
The word said, "Job's children feasted each appointed day and they eat and drink and when the feasting were over, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all; for Job said, “It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts.
Thus did Job continually."
The word of God said that he offered burnt offerings continually because he thought that his children have sins and he was in greatly fear for the life of his children and for certain he was afraid of other things that might befall on him too.
And after Job was smote by Satan in the book of Job 3:25 he said, “For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of has befallen me.”
These two verses tell us clearly the thing he greatly fears was the reason why Satan steal his possession, kill his workers and his children and destroying everything in the land.
If Job could not have holds fast to his integrity, Satan would have kill Job too.
Job great fears trap him.
He thought of it continually until it came to pass and befalls on him.
I will repeat it again, Job great fear gave Satan a chance to use it against him to eliminate him.
Even thou Satan thought that Job reverence God for his blessing.
The good new was that Satan was wrong about him.
Job hold on to his integrity and at the end he came out being a winner.
God restored to Job all that he had lost [he even heal Job from his illness], and he also had seven sons and three daughters.
And in all the land were found no women as beautiful as his daughters (Job 1:21; 2:10; 42:10-15).
Remember, Job's fear hunt him every day until it came and befall on him.
Satan thoughts was that Job's fear of losing his family and all that he had, was the reason why he became a perfect and upright man; fear of losing everything was the motive he reverence the Lord.
But Job prove to God and to the devil that he serve and reverence the Lord because he love him above all things.
Job love God for whom he is and not for the things he gave him.
Job was an innocent and an upright man, who has done no evil in the eyes of the Lord.
A faithful man who has hold fast to his integrity at the end God bless him more than the beginning.
Job's integrity towards God gave him the victory over the devil and at the end the Lord bless him abundantly.
Those who walk not in his perfect love neither obey his word are an easy target for the enemy to devour him (1 Peter 5:7-10).
If you don’t have his word abiding in you, then God cannot hear your prayer neither can he help you in time of trouble nor can he does anything about it to help you.
You might ask, “Why will he not do anything about it to help me?”
The answer is because God has established his law of Life and Death, Blessing and Cursing and he will not break his own law.
Even thus we understand that we are living under grace, that does not give any person a pass or a ticket for him to commit iniquity and not pay the price for his action.
If you don't change your thoughts and bad habits all the penalty of the law will fall on you.
Paul writing to Timothy he said to him: the law is good if a man use it lawfully; knowing this that the law is not made for the righteous (is not made for those who sin not), but for the ungodly and sinners, .... and for whatever is contrary to sound doctrine; ...... (1 Timothy 1:9-,10).
Under Grace, Jesus' faith sanctify us and bring us closer to God, but him who work iniquity will never be sanctify neither come closer to God.
Jesus will says to those religion people, I have never known you, depart from me, O you that work iniquity (Matthew 7:21-23).
Only those that do the work of the Father will enter into his Kingdom.
The work of the Father is to do his will: to preach, teach, lay hands on the sick, feed the poor, pray, fast, move with compassion and love, bearing abundance fruits.
These things are done after you deny yourselves and put him first, if you are still thinking of worldly things then it is going to be hard for you to do his will, but when you said to yourself, I am putting things on the side and I am not going to seek my own will nor what I want anymore, but him who created all things and love us, and I am going to please him in everything he wants me to do, even if I don't have all the things that the world offers me, I am willing to lose everything that I desire from the world for his sake and for the sake of the gospel, I am going to put him first.
Once God draw you to Christ and you give your life to him, your life does not belong to you anymore, but to Christ, he is your Lord and you are to serve God and him only you honor and please in all things.
After you have this mentality then you are doing the Father will and you will be able to enter into his Kingdom.
Jesus said, that for every foolish word which men speak, they will have to answer for it on the day of judgment.
For by your words you shall be justified, and by your words you shall be found guilty (Matthew 12:36,37).
Even though Paul said: Therefore being justified by faith ..... and by him we have been brought by faith into this grace; Jesus make it very clear for it is by the word: what come out of your mouth (word of faith) you shall be justified, and by the word (word of fear, doubt, evil report you name it), you shall be found guilty.
Paul also said: The mouth that confess him (Jesus Christ) shall be saved ...(Romans 10:10)
James also said: Out of the same mouth proceed curses and blessing....(James 3:10)
In the book of Proverbs it said: Life and death is in the power of your tongue and if you love it you shall eat the fruits of thereof (proverbs 18:21).
What come out of you mouth will justified you or will condemn you.
The souls that sins, that soul shall surely die (Ezekiel 18:4).
St. Peter says, “The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their prayers, but the countenance of the Lord is against the wicked” (1 Peter 3:12).
God eyes and ears are open to hear the prayers of a righteous man, but he does not hear the prayer of a wicked person.
People says, well when a person come to Christ and confess him and believe he rose from the dead, he become the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus.
They go on saying if a brother sin, he does not lose his righteousness, he is still a righteous man of God through Christ Jesus, and what he needs to do is to ask God for forgiveness, then the Lord who is faithful and just will forgive his sins and cleanse him from all his unrighteousness [1 John 1:9].
This sound like a good teaching; but there is a problem with this teaching because John said, a person who sin need to be forgiven first and then he will be cleanse from all his unrighteousness, and that mean a man who sin is living in a sinful and an unrighteousness life [without righteousness] and this man is a sinner.
Now if a man who sin is not living an unrighteousness life then why would John write, he will cleanse you from all your unrighteousness?
That means a man who sins does not have the righteousness of God in him, he is an unrighteousness sinner.
You can not live an unrighteousness life and expect to be a righteousness man of God at the same time, no brother it does not work that way.
You have to be one or the other, are you the light of the world or darkness; do you love God or Satan; do you serve the Lord or mammon; you are hot or cold because if you are lukewarm the scripture said God will spue you out of his mouth [Revelation 3:15-16}; you just can not have it both way.
Even when it come to marriage God is saying to the church, Do not unite in marriage with unbelievers, for what fellowship has righteousness with iniquity?
Or what mingling has light with darkness?
Or what accord has Christ with Satan? Or what portion has a believer with an unbeliever?
Or what harmony has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God; as it is said. I will dwell in them and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
Wherefore come out from among them, and be separate, says the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, and will be a Father to you, and you shall be my sons and daughters, said the Lord Almighty.
Here the Lord is saying to the believers you can't serve two master or you love one and hate the other; you can not serve sin and expect to dwell in his righteousness, no brothers, unrighteousness is unclean things that you should not touch, separated from it or else the Lord will not receive you neither would he call you his son.
Look here what Peter teaches us in 1 Peter 3:8-12 that we have to live in harmony and not render evil for evil nor railing for railing, but instead of these blessing.
Peter continue saying, if you desire eternal life and wants to see good days, then refrain your tongue from evil and you lips that they speak no guile.
Refrain from evil and do good and seek peace and pursue it.
For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their prayers, but the countenance of the Lord is against the wicked.
Any person who does sins and does unrighteousness and don't live in harmony and render evil for evil and railing for railing and does not bless anyone and he does not refrain his tongue from evil and his lip speak guile and he does not do any good deed neither seek peace nor pursue peace, this person according to Peter is a wicked person who does not have the righteousness of God in him.
Let me repeat it again, Peter is saying to the church that a person who does not live in harmony and render evil for evil and railing for railing and does not refrain his tongue from evil and his lip speak guile and does not seek peace and pursue it, this person is not a righteous man but a wicked person whom prayer God will not hear.
Unless the wicked person depart from his wicked way and stop practicing evil, and bring forth good fruits, God will not hear his prayer.
Understand Peter never said the first thing you have to do is to pray to God to forgive your sin; no brothers that is not what Peter said to the church.
What Peter is saying to the church, if you desire eternal life and want to see good days, then refrain your tongue from evil; and your lips that they speak no guile.
Refrain from sins and do right, and seek peace and pursue it [that is if you want to see the Lord].
First, you should do the will of God, do the right thing that are pleasing before the eyes of the Lord and after you have done all the right things and have departed from all evil, then your prayer the Lord will hear it and he will forgive your sins and cleanse you from all your unrighteousness, your land the Lord will healed and your soul will produces the fruits of peace and righteousness.
Your path will be straight and your member which is lame will not suffer but be healed [2 Chronicles 7:14; Hebrew 12:10-17; 1 Peter 3:8-12].
God hear the prayer of the righteous man after he has departed from his wicked way.
After man has turn away from his wicked way, then man can stand before God as a righteous man.
Remember righteous is by faith and faith work by love [it is accomplished by love] and love does not work evil.
If a man sins and does not love his brother, the love of God is not in him (1 John 3:4,,8,9,14,15).
And if the love of God is not in him, neither righteousness is in him because righteousness is by faith and faith works or is accomplished by love and if Love is not in him, then his faith is unfruitful and you without righteousness.
You will become nothing if your faith is without love.
Paul said in 1 Corinthians 13:2, if you have faith to move mountain but you don't have love, you are nothing.
Why? because faith without love in action can't save you if you are a worker of iniquity.
Someone might say, are you saying that Paul has been contradict himself when he said, "By grace you are saved through faith; not of your doing; it is a gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast?" (Ephesians 2:8,9)
No brother, Paul is not contradicting himself, Paul is saying, when a sinner come to the Lord for the first time, and confess with his mouth the Lord Jesus Christ and believe in his heart that God raised Jesus Christ from the dead he is saved and become the righteousness of God through Christ.
The sinners by grace is saved through faith, they are saved by confessing Jesus Christ is Lord and by believing in the heart that the Father raised Jesus Christ from the dead.
By confessing and believing in their heart they are declared righteous.
Salvation is a gift that is granted to all sinners who come to the Lord for the first time, who call upon the name of the Lord, but once the sinner is save by grace through faith, the Lord commanded them to bear good fruits and awaking their heart to righteousness [1 Corinthians 15:34].
Paul also said, "Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling" [Philippians 2:12].
The Lord commands those who has been wash by the blood of the lamb to obey his word, to walk after the Spirit and lead a spiritual life, men are commanded by the Lord to do good deeds and seek peace and righteousness and to pursue it, and to never commit the lust of the flesh, always be led by the Spirit of God, for those who are led by the Spirit of God they are the sons of God (Romans 8:4,14; Galatians 5:16).
For to be spiritual minded is life and peace but to be carnal minded is death.
After a man by grace is saved through faith, and later he decided not to follow the direction of the Spirit, but become carnal minded, then the scripture said, it shall be unto death (Romans 8:6).
Paul also said to the church, "though you bestow all your goods to feed the poor, .... and have not love in your heart, you gain nothing.
James said it again in a different way, If a brother or sister be naked and lacking of daily food .... (and) you do not give to him those things which are needed for the body, what does it profit?, ... faith without works is dead
Works here means God's love in deed and in true [action love of God] because faith is accomplished by love and without God's love in your heart your faith will be unfruitful (dead).
John confirm what James had said, "whoever has worldly goods and sees his brother in need and shuts his mercy from him, how can the love of God dwell in him?
John continue saying, My Children, let us not love one another in word and in tongue, but in deed and in true.
John is saying here, God will work out his love through you by helping one another in deed and in true.
You have to let God work out his love through you by supplying and providing other people needs, by preaching and teaching his word, and by commanding them to obey his word [James 2:15-17; 1 John 3:14-18].
If your faith is spoken positive but your doing or your works is unfruitful, in another word, not done by God's love, the scripture said, you are nothing!.
Jesus said to his disciples, if you prophecy in his name, cast out devils in his name, and do many wonders in his name, even if sign follow you, but you work iniquity the Lord will says to you in that day, "I never knew you, depart from me, you that work iniquity."
Jesus will not know you because you work iniquity and that means you will not enter into the Kingdom of God because you are not doing the will of the Father in heaven (Matthew 7:20-23).
Jesus tells us his Father's will, it is to make sure you as the temple doesn't dishonor God, nor become a den of thieves, nor a murderer, nor an adulterer, nor an enemy of God, but be the light of the world, and with authority of heaven heal the blind, the lame, and all who is sick, and teach them his word, working in his vineyard [his field or ministry], and after you have done all and leave this life, then you will enter into the Kingdom. [Matthew 21:12-31; 1Corinthians 6:19; James 4:4; 1John 2:15; 1John 3:15].
Jesus said God's will is, what you hear, judge [John 5:30]; and John 6:38, Jesus said, don’t do your own will but the will of the Father.
For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that you should abstain from fornication [1 Thessalonians 4:3].
In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Jesus Christ concerning you [1 Thessalonians 5:18].
For such is the will of God that by your good works you may silence the mouth of foolish men who know not God [1 Peter 2:15].
Again, doing good works is a mandated of the Lord and his will, for what reason? That we may silence the mouth of the foolish men who know not God.
For it is better, if it is the will of God, that you suffer for good deeds, rather than for evil doing [1 Peter 3:17].
The problem today generation, people don't want to suffer for good deeds, the don't want to pay the sacrifice, but unfortunately for them, the scripture said, suffering for good works is the will of God.
Here are more verses what is the will of God or what pleases him [good deed or good works]:
That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; [Colossians 1:10]
Children, be obedient to your parents in all things, for this is well-pleasing to the Lord. [Colossians 3:20]
“For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God” [Romans 8:6-8]
. And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him. [Hebrews 11:6]
But I have received everything I need, and it is more than enough; I am satisfy, having received everything you sent me by Epaphroditus, and it was welcome as a fragrant aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well-pleasing to God. [Philippians 4:18]
And do not neglect doing good and sharing, for with such sacrifices God is pleased. [Hebrews 13:16]
“[May God] make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen” [Hebrews 13:21].
“Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name. But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased” [Hebrews 13:15-16].
The world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God lives forever. [1 John 2:17]
For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish:[ 2 Corinthians 2:15]
Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure [.Philippians 2:12-13]
Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ; Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart; Serve with a good attitude, as to the Lord and not to men, Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free [Ephesians 6:5-8].
Therefore let those who suffer according the will of God commit their soul to him in well doing as to a faithful creator [1 Peter 4:19].
To do the will of the Father is to obey Christ's word, his commandments of love and that is how you be fruitful.
John said, Let no man deceive you; he who does righteousness is righteous (man), just as Christ Jesus is righteous (1 John 3:7).
A righteous man will do right thing that are fruitful, but will not do those things that are unrighteousness before the Lord.
John also said, he who is born again does not commit sin because God's seed [his word] is in him and he cannot sin because he is born of God.
In this the children of God can be distinguished from the children of the devil; whosoever does not love his brother does not belong to God.
He who do not love his brother abide in death and is a murderer who has no eternal life in him but he who love his brother has passed from death to life and is born again and know God and guard himself and the evil does not touch him or come near him and triumph over the world and this is the victory that conquer the world, even out faith [1 John 3:9-15, 24: 4:7; 5:4,18].
1 John 3:4 it said, he who commit sin commit evil; for all sins is evil.
Verse 6 it said, whoever sins has not seen him neither know him.
Verse 8 it said, he who commits sin is of the devil.
Chapter 5:17 it said, All unrighteousness is sin; ...
Go back to chapter 3:7 it said, My children let no man deceive you; he who does righteousness is righteous, just like Christ is righteous.
Chapter 1:15-17 it said he who love the world the love of the Father is not in him and but he who love not the world have the Father and does the will of God will abide forever.
James 4:4 it said, he who love the world is an enemy of God.
All the John letter show he who commit sin commit evil and is of the devil, for all unrighteousness is sin and he who sin is a murderer who does not have the Father abiding in him and do not know him neither do he belong to God, nor is he a child of God but a child of the devil who abide in death, an enemy of God.
But he who does the will of God is a righteous man who the Father abide in him and have passed from death to life, a born again believer who has God's seed in him and his love and he triumph over the world, this is the victory which conquer the world [God's love], even his faith.
The Apostle Paul wrote to the church and he said to them: an old man is the former practices which is degenerated with deceitful lusts, and the scripture commands the man to lay aside the old man or take it off.
The old man that you take off is known as the practices of evil or working iniquity, for example: lie, anger, steal, evil word, grieving the Holy Spirit, bitterness, wrath, clamoring and blasphemy, all malice, uncleanness, covetousness, cursing, insults, foolish word, words of flattery, fornication, serving idol and you name it.
The old man you taken it off, and then you put on the new man created by God in righteousness and true holiness.
We put on the new man by renewing the spirit of the mind in order to discern that which is good, acceptable and perfect will of God.
His good and acceptable and perfect will of God are thoughts of true, just, pure, goodness, honest, good report, virtue and anything that give praise to God.
Again you put on the new man by having the thoughts of Christ and Christ thoughts are full of fruit of the Spirit.
The fruit of the Spirit is: Love joy, peace, patience, goodness, truth, gentleness, faith, meekness, self control, righteousness and truth.
These thoughts come from God and he created the new man for him to think all these thoughts and practices it day and night as an example to all the believers.(Galatians 5:22)
This new man which is made in righteousness carry fruit of the Spirit, and every believers should know this that God's fruit of the Spirit is a seed sown in peace by the peacemakers (James 3:18).
A righteousness man always think right thoughts and do right things, and work out his salvation by keeping and submitting himself to God's word.
If you practices deceitful lusts then you are still wearing the old man, you are still working iniquity, but if you practices right thoughts and right deeds then you are wearing the new man created by God in righteousness and true holiness.
Which one you will put on the new man or the old man, either one you will put on and will practices the fruit thereof.
And if you practices deceitful lusts or work of iniquity, then it will be for your own perdition.
Salvation is a gift of God but there are those who rejects his gift by not keeping Christ's word and obeying it.
Salvation is in Jesus Christ for there is no salvation in any other (man); for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
You accept Salvation voluntarily knowing that Jesus Christ is the way, the true and the life and no one come to the Father except by him (John 14:6).
Jesus said he who keep my word and obey them is the one who love me.
The one who love him is the one who keep his word and obey it .... if his word remain in you and you in him you will bear fruit for without him you can't do nothing and any person who don't keep and obey his word will be cast outside like a branch which is withered and which is put up and throw into the fire (John 14:20-27; 15:1-9).
When Paul says, work out your own salvation this means to keep and obey his word, that is how you show him how much you love him, again, his commandments you work it out as prove that you love him and desire to bear fruit of the Spirit (Philippians 2:12).
Righteousness is a fruit (Ephesians 5:9; James 3:18).
Paul said, righteousness is not by works [by means of the law] but by faith (Romans 9:30-33; 10:1-7).
Paul repeat it again, "I do not frustrate the grace of God; for if righteousness comes by means of the law, then Christ died in vain." (Galatians 2:21).
Paul is saying righteousness comes when sinners believe [have faith] in their heart that God has raise Jesus Christ from the dead [Roman 10:9,10].
Once men are declared righteous, sinning again is like putting off the new man which is made in righteousness and holiness, and you are putting on back again the old man in unrighteousness [unrighteousness of Satan].
Once you sin then John says, My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments [1 John 2:1-3].
John made it clear that those who sin come to Jesus and Jesus advocated with the Father because now you are a sinner who need forgiveness of sins, but look what John says, "hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments", when you keep his commandments you will not sin.
"If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us" [1John 1:5-10].
Here John is saying in his letter, if a man is walking in darkness then he does not have the truth, neither is he in the light and therefore, he is living a sinful and unrighteousness life.
Again, John is saying if you are walking in darkness then you are a sinner, don't deny it, but confess your sin, and Jesus will advocated with the Father and God who is faithful and just can forgive your sins, and cleanses you from all unrighteousness.
This mean a man who was a righteous man through Christ and sin again does not have God's righteousness in them, but once man are forgiven of their sins and cleanse from his unrighteousness then man has put on again the clothe of righteousness of God through Christ Jesus, for Jesus advocate with the Father on the man behalf, for he is the atoning sacrifice for man's sins.
Paul said it is through Jesus Christ we are made the righteousness of God (2 Corinthians 6:21).
But through deceitful lusts wicked people are made the unrighteousness of Satan.
John the Apostle back up the writing of Paul, he said: All unrighteousness is sin, .... and all sin is evil (1 John 3:4; 5:17).
Paul writing to the church who is now the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus, he said to them, "awake your hearts to righteousness and do not sins" (1 Corinthians 15:34).
Again, sinning does not awaking the hearts to righteousness, and a believers who is born of God can not sins and their heart are awaking to righteousness.
Either way you see the point of Paul here.
Paul repeat again the same advise to the church, he said to them, by faith he who is declare righteous should also follow after righteousness (Romans 10:8-10; 2 Timothy 2:22).
Paul just keep on nailing at the same point, he who declare righteous should also follow after righteousness, now let me ask you, are we to follow after righteousness, yes or no?.
Paul also wrote, we are very careful to do the right things not only in the presence of God, but also in the presence of men (2 Corinthians 8:21).
Moreover he said that your faith may bear fruits in works (Phelemon 6).
Paul is consistent, he said, "be very careful to do the right things" and "your faith may bear fruits in works."
Paul was just saying the same thing the apostle James was saying, "faith without works is dead."
And the only way to have your faith bear good fruits is through love [the fruit of the spirit].
Paul made it clear here, he said, "faith works or is accomplish by love."
This love of God, he pour it into our hearts by the Holy Spirit that dwells in us, this is how we show the love of God through us, you love your brothers in action, it is how your faith grows and bear good fruits, fruits of the Spirit.
Paul also said, ".... we are God new people (new man created by God) zealous of good works." (Titus 2:13).
The believer is a new man created in righteousness, zealous of doing good deed from the heart.
Paul does not stop here, he said, that God wants his people to become complete, thoroughly perfected for every good work (2 Timothy 3:17).
We are to be completed and perfected by doing good work which is done by love.
And not to be partaker of other men's sins; to keep yourself pure (1 Timothy 5:22).
Paul wants the church not to sins and put off all these evil: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, foul conversation and many other evil things and to put on the new life which is renewed in knowledge after the patter in which you were created, to keep themselves pure; and as elect of God, holy and beloved to put on mercy, kindness, gentleness, humbleness of mind, meekness, patience;
Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another; and if any one has a complaint against his fellow man, just as Christ forgave you, so should you also forgive.
And with all these things have love, which is the bond of perfection.
And that all men whom by faith is declared righteous should bear fruit of the Spirit (Ephesians 4:22-32; 5:1-10; Galatians 5:22-26; Colossians 3:5-15; James 4:17,18).
Once again, if by faith you are declared righteous.
Show your love toward the Son of the living God by keeping his word and obeying his word [John 3:16-18; 14:21-24; 15:1-7].
If you do not keep and obey his word, then you don't really love him, and you do not remain with Jesus Christ and Jesus Christ does not remain with you, nor will you bear abundant fruit and you will be cast out to withered and pick up and throw into the fire to be burn.
Just like the law of the land it is writing to stop crime and bring to justice criminal.
As long man does the right things he does not need to be concern about the law.
But if a man breaks the law, he will be arrested and put in jail.
Again it is like a police officer (let compare him as a righteous man) who enforce the law (right things) he is there to stop crime and bring to justice the criminal.
As long an officer follow the law (and do the right things) and do not break the law, then he is representing the law.
But if a Police Officer who does not follow order and disobey his superior officer rule and break the law, not only will he be suspender of his duty and of his power as a Police Officer, but he can lose his job, unless someone advocate and speak on his behalf and defend him and put him back in his uniform, back to work again.
Nevertheless we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous and through him, his Father, who is faithful and just will forgive your sins and cleanse you from all your unrighteousness.
Any righteous person who break the law of Christ is guilty and God does not hear him, unless he change his evil way and stop practicing evil and then his prayer of righteous God will hear again.
Now if you said, righteousness is giving to man and man does not lose it, then what you are saying to me is that God has to ignore your work of iniquity and hear your praying no matter what, because you believe you are still a righteous man of God and what Jesus Christ said in John 14 and 15 about 'keeping and obeying his word' has no effect in you and it is not relevant to your salvation, your sin will not be taken into account.
So the part where the scripture says God hear not a wicked person, is not relevant to you as a believers who sin continually, and you believe if you continue to sins even more, it still will not make any effect in your life because you believe you are still the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus, that is a wonderful dream.
And with you having that mind set it settle all sins, you believe everything have work out for you for good, even though you are still continually practicing sin and your heart has not change at all, neither repented of the evil you have done nor have regret of doing wrong, you have an unbeliever and incredible mind set.
For God said, my ways are not your ways and my thoughts are not your thoughts, There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death [Proverbs 14:12].
You think God is fine with that kind of mind set, man you are really dreaming, you called that being a child of God, man you are way lost in the space and you are wandering, very confuse in your fairy tale world.
Unfortunately, the day will come when you will depart from this life to the other life and when you approaching toward God, and stand in his present, you will find out for yourselves how right or wrong your mind set really was, hope you will find your way out from your fantasy world before it be too late to repent and God deny the access for you to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, may God has mercy on your souls.
There are Christians out there who have bad reputation, bad habit of sinning without stopping, and then when they come to church and stand up in the pulpit with their sins they begin to teach, lying and deceiving the people and saying, if you are made the righteousness of God through Christ, you can't never loose your salvation because you have the right standard with God, this is a bold and devilish confession.
God who knows your heart and your intention, and every thoughts you are thinking, after you have been born again by the Spirit, to commit sins continually without repented of your sin, you think that God who see all will ignore it just because you says so and confess it and believe that is dismiss and that no matter how much sins you do because you are the righteousness of God the sin you do will be like if you never have done it.
Man, you have boldness, you think righteousness stick to you and will never peel off or wear off no matter how much sins you do continually without repented.
What a joke, you are really a dreamer, living in a fantasy world, you are delusional person, it time you sleeping head to wake up. Wake up from your dream!!! and come back to earth! you who sleep in the grave and then God will give you life.
Begin to read the scripture and repent of your sinful ways, work out your salvation with fear and Trembling, and do good work for he who does righteousness is righteous; open the bible and read the last verse of James 5, the scripture speak about people like you who are in space dreaming and living in a fantasy world, the error of your way must be stop and then only the blood of Jesus will cleanse the error of your ways and wipe out multitude of sins [all your multitude fantasy dream will be wipe out, is not that a wonderful news?], you need salvation, let the scripture, Jesus' word open your eyes to the truth [1 John 3:7].
Where these people get this kind of thoughts? They get it by reading book written by those called themselves teachers who had wrong quoted John 11:26 which said, "whoever lives and believe in me shall never die",
So these people who called themselves teachers said you see you can't die nor lose your salvation no matter how much you sin.
In another word, this is my understanding of what they are saying, to those who are dreaming in this fantasy world of life, continue sinning, just have fun, sin and sin more until you get to the point you can't do it anymore, then rest for the day or until you get your energy back and then when you are ready and you feel strong like a bull again then go ahead sin the more, it does not matter after all what you do, it will not effect you life at all, because you are the righteousness man of God through Christ Jesus, therefore sin the more.
You see how ridiculous it is to think like this, a person who has this kind of mentality is known as a carnal minded man that satisfy himself by practicing the lust of the flesh daily and without regret of sinning and without repented of their sin and this kind of thinking will bring destruction and death and sent any person straight to hell.
Wait a minute! you forget to read also John 8:51 it said there, "If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death."
How about the opposite of it, if any man keep not Jesus saying, do he shall never see life? I believe he will never see life, according to the book of John 8:51 read it for yourself, it is there.
How about in John 6:37 and John 10:28, Jesus said, he who come to him, he gives unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of his hand, nor will he cast them out. so these verses means we will never be cast out and we will never loose our salvation.
It says very clear he who come to him shall never perish neither shall any man pluck him out of his hand, nor will Jesus cast him out.
But Jesus also said, he who love me keep my word and he who don't love me keep not my word and whoever remain not in him shall be cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast him into the fire, and they are burned [John 14:21,23, 24; 15:1-6].
Jesus said in John 10:27-28, 'My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand."
How about if a sheep don't want to hear his voice and do not want to follow him and does not want to come to him [for correction] then does Jesus know the sheep? Will someone come and snatch the sheep and the sheep will perish? the answer is yes.
Remember the verse I had mentioned above, he who love Jesus keep his word but he who don't love Jesus keep not his word [his commandments of love], he who don't love the Lord hate him, and he that hate the Lord love death [Proverbs 8:36].
The book of Luke 11:28 Jesus said, "... blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it."
Again here Jesus said hearing and keeping his word, people are blessed.
But, how about if they don't hear his word and don't keep it either, are they curse? yes, they are.
Read John 14:24 Jesus said, "He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me."
Jesus is saying keeping his saying is showing Jesus that you love him.
How about if you keep not his saying do that mean you don't love him? the answer is yes, you don't love him neither the Father for the word Jesus spoke is not his, but the Father's which sent him.
Read John 14:21 Jesus said, "He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him."
Jesus again said, having his commandments and keeping them is the one who love him, but if you don't have it and neither keep them, then you do not love him?
Read John 12:48 Jesus said, "He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day."
Jesus said the one who reject him and receive not his word, his word will judge him in the last day.
What does his word said? he who practice the work of the flesh shall not inherit the Kingdom of God period.
Jesus said, I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love
Jesus is saying here, he who keep his commandments is the one who abide in his love and Jesus' word abide in him and will bear much fruit, but if he who don't keep Christ's commandments nor do Jesus' word, does Jesus abide in him? He does not abide in him.
And Man can do nothing without Jesus, and man will be cast away to be withered and gather and throw into the fire to be burned.
Now does not that tell you a person can loose his salvation if he doesn't love him and doesn't keep and obey Jesus' word?
Look again what Jesus said to his disciples about the one who hear not his saying or his voice, in the book of Luke 6:49 Jesus said, "But the one who hears My words and does not act on them is like a man who built his house on ground without a foundation. The torrent crashed against that house, and immediately it collapsed--and great was its destruction.."
Jesus said the same thing in Matthew 7:26-27, "And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
A man who hear the voice of Christ and does not do it, is a foolish man who will fell immediately to his own destruction?
Yes, all these verses does prove man can loose his salvation
To said you don't loose your salvation because of the verses you quoted, that kind of thinking will put you in danger ground.
Putting limitation on God's word in what you can do and can't do, you are playing with fire.
God is not man you should lie neither a son of man to give counsel, his ways is not your ways and his thoughts is not your thoughts, neither is he blind to see your sins and for sure he will not overlook your sins and he will not hear nor answer your prayer and you will remain in your sins, and unless you don't repent and do what is right before the eyes of the Lord you will die in your sin to eternal destruction.
Every evil action that you do in the eyes of God, he see it wrong, and wrong does not make it right with God, wrong is unrighteousness, and righteousness is right and you can't have it both ways.
Therefore, are you right with God or are you wrong with God? And if your are wrong then you will loose your salvation because Paul said, the wages of sins is death, and that means sin that is unrighteousness is death and unless you confess your sins to God and he forgives your sins and cleanse you from all unrighteousness you will not be saved, read James 1:19-25 and also the last verse on James 5 [James is talking to the Brethren, Christians who has sins from the way of true, they were called sinners and when they converted, their multitude of sin was wipe out and their soul was save because they receive the engrafted word which save their soul, the inner man is the soul of man], but to say otherwise will be a theory base on outrageous and disgraceful and devilish believe.
Righteousness is giving to us through Jesus Christ but righteousness is not something you play around or put on and take off anytime you want to, it is not something you step on all over it like it was a piece of trash, no brother, righteous is like water that daily refresh your soul so you can become a beautiful flower, the day you don't let the water of righteous to refresh properly your soul, your soul who is a beautiful flower will weaken and will surely die.
Jesus told his disciples, he who believe and have his commandments and obey them is the one who love him (John 14:21).
The one who believe and obey Jesus word is the one who love him and the one who love him love to do works of righteousness.
If you don't believe neither obey his word, God word will not remain in you nor you in him .
Does Righteousness works and bears good fruits or evil fruits?
I am not asking you if righteousness come by faith or by works; I am asking you does righteousness works and bears good fruits or evil fruits?.
Righteousness works and bears good fruits.
The righteousness man works and bears good fruits, because he love God.
If you are a righteous man and you have his seed is in you then you can't sin because you are born of God [1 John 3:9].
Jesus said, he who does not love me shall not see life, but the wrath of God shall remain on him (JOHN 14:24; JOHN 3:18,360.
In the Old testament in the book of Proverb 28:9 Solomon said, He who close his ears from hearing the law, even his prayer is an abomination.
God will not hear a person who close his ears from hearing the law and even if he pray to God, his prayer will be an abomination.
A man who has not departed from his evil way, his prayer is an abomination, it means sinners can never be a righteous man, because a righteous man hears Christ's word and all his commandments he obey, a righteous man does the right things before the eyes of the Lord and his prayer is heard.
Please understand, when a sinner hear the voice of Jesus for the first time, Jesus is there knocking at the door of his heart and any man who hear his voice and open the door of his heart, then Jesus will come in and sup with them [Revelation 3:20].
God will draw him to Christ and Christ will stand at the door of his heart and knock and when he open the door, he will come in and sup with him and raise him up from the dead and give him life eternal.
But again, after he is saved, and later choose to take the path of Cursing and Death, according to the law, as it is written in the book of the law, sickness, poverty and death shall come and shall follow him and shall overtake him for not hearken to the law of Blessing and Life. The law is God perfect will, and he has spoken his perfect will, and his perfect will shall never return to him void, but his perfect will shall accomplish his purpose for what he had sent it to do, the perfect will of God will take place and fulfill it purpose in the people life whether is be for life or death; or for blessing or cursing, it will happen as he had said it, because it is his perfect will.
Evil report is sin and word of the devil, when Moses sent 10 spies to spy the land, when they came back of spying the land eight of them gave an evil report, but two of them gave a good report.
The eight spies who spoke evil report were word of doubts and unbelief and disobedience.
God told them to possess the land, the land is yours, but they say to the people, we can't possess the land because we saw giant there and next to them we are like grasshoppers, they are stronger than us and we can't overcome them.
But the other two spies who gave good report said to Israel, let us go at once and do not be afraid of them; for their conquest will be as easy as eating bread; their strength has left them and the Lord is with us; fear them not and come let take the land for we are well able to overcome them.
The evil saying of the eight spies was against the knowledge of God, Israel who believe it started to murmur against Moses and provoked God.
God destroyed that old generation in the desert because they did not believe the Lord (Number13:26-33; 14:1-11).
God hates all kind of evil.
Those who do evil are of the devil and the devil is their father and the Lord of their life.
Evil report is the word of the devil and he has power over you to do what he pleases ounce he know that his word dwells and come out of your mouth, his word are full of unrighteousness.
A person might says, "But you have to understand he is a good person and everybody love him very much because his share and give donation and supply the need of the poor and etc..."
If you think by having people saying, you are a good person because you are a giver who supply the need of the poor people and this kindness will give you a pass with God to continue practicing sins and your prayer answer, absolutely not.
Being a giver or a helper is not an evidence of your salvation, kindness will not save anyone from the hands of the devil if Christ word does not remain in you and you in him.
His word have to remain in you and you in him and bear fruit of righteousness in order for God hands of protection to cover you.
Without Jesus man can not do nothing, and as a branch that is cast to the ground and withered and man pick up cast it into the fire to burned, so will happen to the man who does not remain with Jesus.
The bible says the one who obey his word will never see death (John 8:51; 14:21-24).
Jesus made it clear, Ye shall know them by their fruits. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity [Matthew 7:15-23, 24-27.
Again, the book of Luke said, "Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved?
And he said unto them, Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.
When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.
But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.
And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God.
And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last [Luke 13:23-30].
Many read this chapter and verses, and they think these people lost their soul because they thought wonderful works saved them, but Jesus said unto them, depart from me.
But that is not the reason why Jesus did not knew him, but because of work of iniquity, in the beginning he did wonderful works which is good, but at the end he did work of iniquity and lost his soul.
These two book Matthew7 and Luke13 have a great message of salvation, that a person will let you know if he is of God or not, if Jesus know him or not; it all depend of his fruit, if it is bad or good.
See John 15:1-7 it tells us what cause man to bring forth fruits.
If the word that abide in him and Jesus in him he will bring forth good fruits, if not then he will bring forth bad fruits.
What is the bad fruits? it is all kind of sins, all kind of evil works, the lust of the flesh: hate, rancor or root of bitterness, unforgiving, liars, murderer, adultery, man who lie with male, thieve, rapper, deceiver, money lover, covet of the eyes, witchcraft, drunkard, defrauder, discord, anger, strife, brawler [who cause problem and fight], gossip, bribe, fornication, lasciviousness, idolater, extortioners, railers, jealousy, impurity, enmity, stubbornness, sedition, heresies, envy, selfish, greedy, rude, dictatorship or control, glutton, laziness, high minded, blasphemer, immoral, seducer, false witness, slander, slyness, cleverness, scorner, froward, hatred, wrath, variance, emulations, cursing, defile, boast, vain display, behave itself unseemly, seek his own, easily provoked, rejoice over iniquity, revellings, rebellious, fraudulent, and all such things shall never enter into the Kingdom of God.
Now what is good fruits? the answer is the Spirit of love, power, peace, gentleness, joy, righteousness, virtue or goodness, self-control, pureness, just, obedient, submission, reverence, holiness, subjection, meekness, humbleness, temperance, mercy, pity or compassion, temperance, patient or calmness, forgiveness, kindness, caring, helping, godliness, long-suffering, good thoughts, rejoice in truth, speak the truth, believe the truth, bear all things, believe all things, hope all things, endure all things, you name it, against such there is no law. And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
Jesus said, the men will say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. And we have prophesied in thy name and in thy name have cast out devils and in thy name done many wonderful works, And then Jesus will profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
It is clear that Jesus did not knew them because of their works of iniquity.
It was their work of iniquity that God reject them, their sins God did not forgive and therefore he refuse to open the door and let them enter into the Kingdom of heaven.
Prophesied in thy name, cast out devils and do many wonderful works was not the issue why they lost their salvation, but because they were not walking in the Spirit, they were not bringing forth fruit of the Spirit and that's what cause them to lose their salvation.
Works of iniquity is the same as the work of the flesh or the lusts of the flesh and they lost their salvation for practicing sin and never departed from it.
Prophesied in his name and in his name cast out devils and in his name do many wonderful works these are called gift and gift are wrought by the one and the same Spirit and we know that gift does not save no man but gift are given to man as a sign.
Jesus said, this sign or wonder will follow them that believe and Paul said these are gifts of the Spirit [Mark 16:17-18 and 1 Corinthians 12:7-11].
This man who Jesus did not know, was a man who didn't bring forth good fruit, they did not do the will of the Father, but was a worker of iniquity who at the end lost his salvation.
The only way a wicked person can have eternal life and see good day and have his land healed is by humble himself and pray and seek his face and turn from his wicked ways.
In another word he has to stop sinning, and has to refrain his tongue from evil and his lips that he speak no guile.
He has to refrain from evil and do good and also he has to seek peace and pursue it and then the Lord will hear him from heaven and will forgive his sins and heal his land (2 Chronicles 7:14; 1 Peter 3:10-12).
If God is willing to heal your land, how much more will he heal your sick body.
THE CAUSE FOR DISOBEYING THE COMMAND OF THE LORD
Now who is responsible in allowing sickness to come into the body?
According to the Holy Scripture you are the one, the devil just take advantage of your wrong decision to destroy you.
When a man disobey God and sin, God’s hands of protection is removed.
God's law and his perfect will is when you sin, you are on your own, the devil will come upon you and destroy you.
Being doubtful and having great fear and being disobedient to his WORD and speaking EVIL REPORT will open the door of YOUR heart for the devil to come in and devour your life.
Peter said, be vigilant and be cautious, because your adversary the devil, like a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour.
The devil is just looking for someone to devour him but only if this person allow him.
Rise up, therefore against him (how?), as you are steadfast in the faith (by believing and not doubting), .... and he will strengthen you to endure any affliction of the devil, that you may be made steadfast and remain in him (his word remain in you and you in him) for ever (1 Peter 5:8-10).
If you are saved, trust God and don't fear, don't allow the devil to come to you as a thief in the night and steal, kill, and destroy your soul.
If God give Satan access to come to you is because of your decision you have made for your life.
The devil will comes to you like a roaring lion to devour your life after you have been tempted and refused to hold fast to your integrity.
So be careful what you say and do because life and death is in the power of your tongue and if you don't hold on to your faith, but do evil works you will fall badly.
You will be responsible of your misery, not God.
Below there are scriptures for you to read that will witness that Satan bound and oppressed people.
In Luke 13:16, it says, that Satan has bound a woman for eighteen years.
In Act 10: 38 it says, that Jesus Christ healed those who were oppressing by the devil.
In Matthew 12:22-28 it says that Jesus healed a lunatic man.
And he cast out devils by the Spirit of God.
In Mark 9:14-29 and Matthews 17:14-21 these two verses reveal that Jesus rebuke an unclean spirit and the epileptic cried out violently and was tortured, and the spirit went out; then the boy became as if dead, so that many said, “he is dead.”
Then Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him up.
The boy was healed from that very hour.
In Mark 5:1-21 a man in a cemetery who had an unclean spirit saw from far Jesus.
Jesus said to the unclean spirit to come out of the man and the lunatics ran to him and worship him and cried with loud voice saying not to torment him.
And Jesus asked him, “What is your name?”
And he said to him, “our name is Legion, because we are many.”
The Legion begged him to send them to the swine, that they may attack them.
And Jesus send them to the swine, and the Legion went out and attacked the swine; and the lunatic was healed and he was clothed and well behaved, and sitting down quietly.
All of these scriptures mentioned above witness that it is the devil that bound and oppressed the people.
Man is responsible of choosing the wrong path and allowing illness and death to come over him [Deuteronomy 28:15-68; 30:14-20] .
But Jesus came that you may have life and have it more abundantly.
Healing was seen in his ministry more, he went around doing good and healing everyone who was oppressed by the devil.
Jesus never reject any person who came to him with faith, he heal every one of them who believe he was able to heal him.
The devil is the one who make sure man stay suffering and in misery, and those who break the law of God suffer pain and misery.
See for yourselves what the word of God says about his law; read the books of Exodus 15:26; 19:5,6; 23:23-30; Deuteronomy 7:13-15,23,24; 8:1,3; and Psalms 103:1-13.
It is terrible and fearful thing to fall into the hands of God.
God is love but he is also consumer fire.
To fall into the hands of God mean that God will not rest his hands of protection upon you and all that you have will be in the power of the devil to destroy it.
God also use his own angels to do the job in destroying you just like he did with Israel and Jerusalem when David sin before God.
As he did with the first born of Egypt, God sent his angels of death to kill all of them.
God is God and man who don't hearken to God's voice and break his law is cursed and bring to himself sorrow and many affliction.
Man is responsible of his own misery and destruction for not listening to the voice of the Lord.
St. John 10:1-10 it says, that his sheep will not hear the voice of a stranger or the voice of a thief or the voice of a bandit, but he hear the voice of the shepherd and follow him.
A thief is a liar and a liar is the devil himself and those who hear and follow the devil's voice is allowing him to steal, kill and to destroy him.
But he who hear the voice of the Shepherd and follow him will find pasture and life.
We, the christian must be alert and watchful at all time.
We have to be very careful who we listen to and follow because there are a lot of thief and wolf out there dress like sheep, looking for a chance to deceive you and steal and kill and destroy your souls.
Therefore be alert at all time.
In St. John 8:44 it say the devil is a murderer of men from the very beginning and who never stands by the truth, because there is no truth in him.
When he speaks he speaks his own lie, because he is a liar, and the father of lies.
Understand that Satan will do what he can to accuse you and movedst the Lord against you.
If he success in moving the Lord against you, God has mercy on your soul.
You will have no other alternative but to hold fast to your integrity and prove to God that you love him above all things.
You will have to stand firm and be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might.
You will have to fight the good fight of faith to the end.
Walking in disobedience and having doubt and having great fear will cut the protection of God, he will take off his hands of protection, putting yourselves in danger (Job 3:25).
This is why the scripture says, “do not give the devil a chance” (Ephesians 4:27).
Don’t give the devil a reason to devour you.
In case you do give Satan a reason for him to come up to God and movedst the Lord against you, what are you going to do?
My advise to you is to do the same things Job did.
Job did not gave the devil a chance to destroy him.
He learns from his mistake, and he hold fast to his integrity.
You too hold on to your integrity.
Have faith in God and let his love increase in you and his love will cast out fear and triumph over the world.
You must submit to God [ To His Word}; resist Satan [Don't give him a chance] and he will flee from you (James 4:7).
Once you walk in God’s path of love, he will guard you and you should guard yourself too, and the evil one will not come near you neither touches you nor harms you because you are born of God, born of the Spirit.
Love cast out fear because fear is tormented.
God's love is being pour into your heart by the Holy Ghost that dwells in you, put it into practice daily.
Love should be first in your life, in your home and then wherever you go.
God's favor and grace will flow from within you because you love in deed and in true. (Romans 5: 5; 1 John 3:17,18; 4:15; 5:18).
Now that you know that sickness, poverty and death is a curse of the law and it is there where the devil dwells or hang out, then how can a man or a woman ovoid it and get healed?
Below you will see ways of how to get healed.
Faith and healing.
There are few scripture that teach us how to receiving healing.
Thank God that you can receive divine healing through any of the ways listed below:
Call for the elder of the church to pray for you (James 5:14).
Have hands laid on you in prayer (Mark 16:15-20; Hebrews 6:1-2).
Pray the prayer of agreement with another believer (Matthew 18:18-20).
Exercise your faith in the name of Jesus Christ (John 14:12-14; acts 3:6,16).
Use your faith in the word of God (Proverbs 4:20-23; John 16:23; Mark 11:23-24).
Partaker of the Lord’s Supper (1 Corinthians 11:23-30).
Begin saying, I believe God’s word.
I have faith in God.”
Continue trusting God and don't allow any problem and circumstances of life move you in the direction that has nothing to do with believing.
Remember the word that comes out of your mouth must be line with the word of God without waving, keep on believing what God has said and it shall come to pass (Mark 11:22-25).
Jesus is saying to you:
What do you want me to do for you?
Ask believing and it shall come to pass.
Do you believe I am able to do this?
Have faith in God and you will move mountain and casts it into the sea .....;
All things are possible to him that believe
Who has believe my report?
If you believe Jesus' report then say the following words: “Body, By Jesus’ stripes you were healed two thousand years ago.
Body you will submit to God's word, and his word said you are redeemed from the curse of the law, Christ has taken my afflictions and has bear my sickness (Matthew 8:17).
Therefore I believe his report and sickness you don't have any power over his word and according to his word my body is healed in Jesus Christ name. Amen" (1 Peter 2:24).”
Now if you need a financial blessing, then say the following: "Thank you Lord God because you supply all my need according to your riches in the glory of Jesus Christ. Amen" (Philippians 4:19).
Continue saying the following, "Because I am a child of God, and I am obedient to Christ's commandment; therefore God said to me and to every people who obey his law, every place that the sole of our foot tread upon, it shall be ours and we shall succeed and prosper and the Lord will be with us wherever we go. hallelujah"
Because I have been obedient to my father and my mother', according to the word of God, he said to me, it shall be well with me and I shall live long on the earth", I believe this report too, hallelujah (Joshua 1:3,7-9; Ephesians 6:1-3).
John wrote to the elder, to his belove Gaius because he wanted him to know that he is praying for him, and his praying was above all things that he may prosper and be in good health, even as his soul prosper.
John who wrote so much about loving your brother and loving one another would not he wants the same prayer blessing for all the people of God?
If your answer is no, then you are telling me that John has respecter of person; and does not have that kind of thoughts of love toward any brothers in the body of Christ; sorry, but I disagree with you. (3 John 1:2).
John wrote a letter letting Gaius know that he love him and care about him and I am sure John would has written the same letter to any man in the body of Christ and his letter won't be any different of what he wrote to Gaius.
As much he love Gaius for sure he love the church of God also.
I believe his letter was written for all beloved people of God who is born of the Spirit.
If the people will hearken to his word to his commandments and do according to all that is written therein: the people shall success and prosper and God will be with them wherever they go.
God will bless them physically and financially.
Lets see what the Apostle Paul said to the church.
The Apostle Paul writing to the church of Corinth, he said to them, "For your sakes Jesus Christ became poor, so that you, through his poverty, might be rich" (2 Corinthians 8:9).
Being rich means that he will supply all of your need according to his riches in the glory of Jesus Christ, but to believe that he will supply money you don't need and make you wealthy rich, is not what the gospel of Jesus Christ is all about.
God intention is to supply the need of the body of Christ and if you still have abundance then he expect of you to provide the wants of Saints too, vise versa.
That their abundance may be a supply for your want, and your abundance may be a supply for their want, that there may be equality in the body of Christ.
Salvation you receive it by faith.
Believe to receive healing; believe for God to provide your need; believe through Christ Jesus for your salvation, believe by the same faith.
Refuse sickness and don't be moved by what you see and feel.
Two thousand years ago Jesus Christ took our sickness, poverty, and sins, so that we through him may have eternal life and live long on earth.
Believe the word of God because his word never return void and everything you do will go well with you and you will enjoy a long life on earth.
As long the word of God dwells in you, and you stand firm in his word without waving, sickness can't remain in you, because the word of God rule over all.
Sickness can't function in your body as long his word remain in you and you in him.
The power of Jesus that came out of him was seen on earth in action and after he left to heaven he gave that same power in his name to those who believe in him, for them to use it over all the power of the devil.
The word of Jesus Christ gives victory over all the power of the devil.
Jesus said, "I say to you. He who believes in me shall do the works which I do; and even greater than these things he shall do, because I am going to my Father."
Some people think that the healing power was gone after the last disciple die.
Jesus did not said, "I say to you, only my apostles who believe in me shall do the works which I do; and even greater than these things my apostles shall do, because I am going to my Father."
No, no brother and sister in the Lord, Jesus did not say those word and any man who teach this is a liar.
Therefore in the name of Jesus Christ we can do the work of Jesus Christ; and even greater than these things he did, we can do, because he is sitting on the right hand of the Father.
God is not a liar and his son said, heaven and earth shall pass away but my word shall never pass away.
Jesus Christ will keep his word because he is the truth and his truth set us free.
Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever.
God's word stand forever (John 14:12).
People why don't you give a try to faith?
Look what a centurion said to Jesus, "My Lord, my boy is lying in the house, paralyzed and suffering greatly. ..... I am not good enough for you to enter under the shadow of my roof; but just say a word, and my boy will be healed; for I am also a man under authority, and there are soldiers under my command; and I say to this one, Go, and he goes; and to the other, Come, and he come; and to my servant, Do this, and he does it."
And when Jesus heard this, he was amazed, and he said to those who accompanied him, Trully, I say to you that not even in Israel have I found such faith as this. .... and Jesus says to the centurion, Go, let it be done to you according to you belief", and his boy was healed in that very hour (Matthew 8:5-13).
Fear produce no patience and Jesus does not want us to live this way.
Jesus Christ and his disciples was on the boat and when the boat had sailed deep the sea became very rough, so that the boat was almost covered by the waves, but Jesus was asleep.
And his disciples drew near and woke him, and said to him, Our Lord save us, we are perishing.
Jesus said to them, "Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?"
Then he got up and rebuked the wind and the sea, and there was a great calm.
If that was you or me in that boat we would be crying and screaming for God mercy and for help too, we would have done the same thing his disciples did, we would have done nothing about it, because of our unbelief (no faith).
His disciples in that moment was faithless, and their unbelief was the result of fear.
Faith is what Jesus is looking for.
Jesus saw the people faith who brought a paralytic on a quilt, and Jesus healed him (Matthew 9:2-8).
There was a woman who has suffered for twelve years of hemorrhage, came up from behind Jesus, and she touched the edge of his cloak; For she was saying to herself, if I only touch the garment, I will be healed. .... and when she touch his garment immediately her hemorrhage was dried and she felt in her body that she was healed of her disease.
Jesus told her; My daughter your faith has healed you; go in peace and be healed of your disease (Matthew 9:20-22; Mark 5:25-34).
If you feed on Fear and Doubt it will hide your faith.
The disciples was in the boat, and while they were watching in the night they saw Jesus walking in the water.
.... and Peter say to Jesus, "My Lord, if it is you, command me to come to you on the water.
Jesus said to him, Come.
So Peter walk on the water, but when he saw that the wind was strong, he was afraid, and began to sink, and he raised his voice and said, "My Lord, save me."
Immediately Jesus came to him and save him and Jesus says to Peter, "O, you of little faith, why did you doubt?
Here Peter has little faith but after he saw the circumstances around him the waves and the strong winds, he was afraid and doubt took over and his little faith turn to no faith at all.
Jesus love great faith.
A woman came to Jesus saying to him, "O my Lord son of David; my daughter is seriously afflicted with insanity.
Jesus said to her, It is not right to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs.
But she said, "Yes, my Lord, even the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from the master's table, and they live.
Look what Jesus said to her, "O woman, your faith is great; let it be to you as you wish; and her daughter was healed from that very hour (Matthew 15:22-28).
Great faith does not give up and stand firm believing in his word until it come to passed.
Faithless and unbelief will prevail over a person life.
Unbelief and faithless will never receive anything.
In one occasion his disciples could not healed a man's son of epileptic, and Jesus says to them. "O faithless and crooked generation, how long shall I be with you? and how long shall I preach to you?
His disciple ask him, "Why could we not heal him?
Jesus said to them, "Because of your unbelief; for truly I say to you, If there is faith in you, even as a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, move away from here, and it will move away; and nothing would prevail over you (Matthew 17:14-20).
Here his disciples was faithless, didn't have any faith to believe.
If your word has no faith, your unbelief will not let you help healed any person neither will you be able to cast out demons if you did not pray and fast too.
Jesus love people who call on him and don't allow doubter to get in their way in pursuing their healing.
A blind man from Jericho, who sat by the roadside begging.
When he heard that Jesus was coming began to cry aloud and say, "O son of David, have mercy on me."
And many rebuke him and told him to keep quiet, but he cried out the more, saying, "O son of David, have mercy on me.
Then Jesus stopped and commanded to call him.
So they called the blind man, and said to him, "Have courage, rise; he is calling you.
And the blind man threw of his robe and got up and went to Jesus.
Jesus said to him, "What do you wish me to do for you?
The blind man said to him, "Master, that I may see.
And Jesus said to him, "See; your faith has healed you.
And immediately he saw, and went on his way (Mark 10:46-52).
God is looking for people with boldness of faith that does not take a no for an answer and will not let other shut them up in calling the Lord.
Whoever call the name of the Lord shall be saved (Romans 10:13).
People who call the name of the Lord receive anything of the Lord (Matthew 12:15).
Today healing in Jesus Christ name has not lost its power.
Jesus Christ had healed before and he is still healing now and he will continue to heal tomorrow from generation to generations. Amen.
He is the same yesterday, today and forever.
God healing power is active 24/7, 365 days.
Your healing, financial need met and salvation is right now; not a week from now; not a month from now; not a year from now.
Healing and having you need met is now, just like now is the day of salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2).
Now faith is the substance of the things you hope for (Hebrews 11:1).
We walk by faith and not by sight and by Jesus Christ name whatever you need will be added to you (2 Corinthians 5:7; Hebrew 11:3.
When you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus Christ and believing in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you don't expect to receive your salvation in a year from now, do you?
No, no, you believe now is the day of salvation, in the moment you confess it you believe that God has forgiven your sins.
Salvation is a gift of the Father of heaven and we receive it through faith in the moment you confess with your mouth and believe it in your heart..
The same with healing it is receive the moment you say it and believe it right now.
But the manifestation of material or physical things come as you continue believing that those things which you saith you need shall come to pass; you shall have whatsoever you says you need [Mark 11:22-26].
Stand upper the rock Jesus Christ and he shall never fail you.
Seeing and feeling is not believing, but believing is not seeing and feeling.
Again before you see it or feel it, you have to continually keep on believing those things you can't see or feel will come to pass, you shall have them (Mark 11:22-25).
Speak to poverty and say to it you will not keep me under in Jesus Christ name.
Poverty you will not stand against Christ's word and you will have to move and cast into the sea in Jesus Christ name.
Christ word is his Father will and his word said, he will supply all my needs according to his riches in the glory of Jesus Christ.
Therefore I believe he will supply all my needs. Amen.
After you have spoken those words start praising the Lord and give him the honor and the glory, just praise him.
Stand faithful to God's word.
Sickness and poverty has to submit to Jesus Christ name.
What Christ Jesus did on the cross was done for our benefits, for the benefits of the believers.
It is a wonderful news to know that Jesus Christ became poor so that through his poverty the poor may inherent his riches.
The poor believers inherent his riches equally; no more, no less.
In the body of Christ no one should be better than anyone.
All the poor should have his riches equally, equal in share, equal in blessing.
Riches should not rule the poor life, but their life should be rule by God and his son Jesus Christ.
There is a treasure in heaven with the name of every believers, to deposit and to withdrawn.
Any children of God who has abundance can deposit into the treasure of heaven.
And any children of God who is poor and has needs can withdraw from the treasure of heaven, now how it is done?
With your alms and donation and offering.
Remember since the Spirit of Jesus Christ came in our heart, we became the church, the temple of God, the body of Our Lord Jesus Christ, and his body supply all the need of the poor and of the Saints.
Ask for help and let the church help you provide it.
If there is a want in the body of Christ, supply it.
That mean any person who is in needs, the church should help him and supply his need until he is able to get up on his feet.
As children of God you have the right to ask the church if you have needs to help you.
But if you don’t have any needs then you don’t have any reason to ask the church for things.
We are to help one another for this is the will of God, for loving our poor neighbors in deed and in truth is his will.
You don't have any ideas how much good you can do to those who have needs, they will benefit from it and God will reward you.
Therefore obey his word and don't give the devil any chance in you life to steal the word planted in your heart.
Repent of your sin and do what is right before the Lord and then he will hear your voice and heal your land.
For the evil worker will never success and their light will be turn off and be no more.
Believe and stand firm upon the rock Jesus Christ because in his name there is power.
All things are subject and submit to Jesus' word even the request that we ask of him in his name the Lord will bring it to passed.
Heaven and earth will pass away but his word will never pass away.
God’s word will never change and stand forever.
He is the same yesterday, today and forever.
The Lord has promise he who believe and obey also his word has life and will never see death.
God will never forsake you neither in the time of need, he will never fail you to help you and delivery you from your depression, and you will be blessed wherever you go. Amen (Mark 11:23,24; 1 Peter 2:24).
