Mi querida esposa.

Take this moment of time to pray before reading what I wrote, and when you finish praying, let the Spirit help you to understand the scripture.
There is an old saying out there: eat the grass and throw away the stick.
Very true, and I advise you the same thing, but if God did guide me to write this letter then the Lord for sure will reveal it into your heat, he will showing through his word and with record of evidence of the past, it will inspire and bless your souls.

The scripture said, judge righteously, how? With his word, and using common sense when you look back to the history record of the past.
Be very careful how you judge the history record of the past with the word of God, for you may not want to see yourselves standing in the opposite side against the Lord Jesus and against his word and instead of becoming his servant, you become the enemy of God.

I am just a messenger of God, being obedient to his direction.
But if you think I'm wrong and none of what I had wrote here on this letter is the truth then God himself will judge me at that day.
But be very careful for if God did sent me to write this letter [I believe he did] then you will have no excuse in that day when you stand before him in heaven, looking at you, he is going to judge you of all idles and evil thoughts and wicked word you have said against him and against his word.

It is true that there is people out there trying to deceive believers and the bible instruct the believers to be alert and watchful at all time ready and standing firm against all attack of the enemy and against all attack of the gospel.

But at the same time we are to be spiritual minded so we can be able to discern what is that Good, and acceptable and perfect will of God, let God give you and fill you with his wisdom and open your eyes so you can know and understand what you think might be an error and an attack to the gospel, might not be after all an error and an attack to the gospel.
So be careful how you visualize and judge the writing of this letter because you might be in the wrong side judging the truth word of God, which is connected and record in the past history, connected to the fulfillment of the word of our Lord Jesus Christ in the first century.

So, be careful what you said or how you judge others who teach or preach the gospel if you can't back it up with the word of God neither can you connect it with past history, be careful you don't take away the word of God or else God will take away your name from the book of life and be careful you don't add to his word, for if you do God shall add all the plague that are written in the book of Revelation [see Revelation 22:18].
May God draw you to Jesus' word, to know his truth, his perfect will, for God has blessed his believers with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus [ Ephesians 1:3].

The Coming Of The Lord

Fulfill to the last letter.

Matthews 24:3:

3 while Jesus sat on the Mount of Olives, his disciples came up talking among themselves, and they said to him, tell when these things will happen and what is the sign of your coming and of the end of the world?

Mark 13:4:

4 Tell us when these things will happen, and what is the sign when all these things are about to be fulfilled?

Luke 21:7:

7 And they asked him, saying, Teacher, when will these things happen? And what is the sign when these things are about to happen?

The day of the Lord was at hand and in a moment in the twinkling of the eye at the sound of the last trumpet our mortal body will change to immortality.
Paul writing to the church in his time taught them that their physically body shall be change.
Lets continue reading other verses about his coming.

Jesus says:

"As soon as its branches become tender and bring forth leaves, you know the summer is coming"

and he also says:

"when you see these things begin to happen, have courage and lift up your hands, because your salvation is at hand" (Mk 24:32; Lk. 21:28).

Jesus is telling his disciples that they will soon see these things begin to happen in their generation.
The world was coming to end for the wicked Jews and Christ's prediction was given to them in advance for them to get ready for what was about to begin soon.
They were warned to be watchful and pray always, so that they may be worthy to escape and stand before the son of man.

Jesus says no one know the day and the hour when these things will happen.
But when you see these things begin to happen, have courage and lift up your hands, because your salvation is at hand, in another word, the sign of his coming and of the end of the world is at hand.

Paul writing to the church of Thessalonians in the year 51 AD, he says to them that these things will not come unless the Wicked One expose himself who oppose and exalt himself above all that is called God.
And when the one who is the obstacle is taken out of the way" he meant Claudius Caesar.
He was the one that must be taken out of the way so that the man of sin may be revealed.
Now lets take everything we have read base on witness and historical information and lets history explain the fulfillment of how the warning of the Lord Jesus Christ came to passed.

According to historical information and witness:

Claudius reign in 40 AD.
He had a wife name Agrippina.
Claudius also has a son name Britannicus and an adopting son name Lucius Domitius Ahenobarbus, but later he change his adopting son name to Nero Claudius Caesar.
But Claudius' wife was evil, she did not wanted Claudius' son Britannicus to take his father reigned so she prepare a poison for her husband killing him in his reign of thirteen years, eight months, and twenty days.
Claudius reign from 40 AD to 54 AD.

In 51AD, Paul in his writing to the church he said when he is taken out of the way then the Wicked One will be expose.
Claudius' wife did just that she took him out of the way by poison her husband so her son Nero would take his place.

Agrippina has a plan so she sent Burhus, the general of the army, immediately, and with him the tribunes, and the freedmen who were of the greater authority, to bring Nero away into the camp, and to salute him Emperor.
That is how Nero obtained the government in 54 AD.

Nero was so evil in his reign that he kill Britannicus the son of Claudius by poison and put his own mother Agrippina to death for being born of her; he also slew his wife Octavia and many other illustrious persons, that plotted against him.

In 52 AD when Claudius was emperor he sent Felix to Judea and he put to death many impostors and robbers every day.
But the Jews affair grew worse and worse continually filled with robbers and imposters.

Festus was sent in the year 54 AD to succeeded Felix.
Festus did not last long; he died in the year 61AD or 62AD and Nero the emperor hearing the death of Festus, he sent Albinus to Judea to succeeded him.

In the year 64 AD Nero intentionally had started the fire in Rome (Dio, LXII.17.18.3; Pliny, Natural History, XVII.1), the fire started on July 19, 64 AD, burnt for six days and seven nights. when finally it apparently ended, but then it started again and was not finally extinguished until the ninth days.
Nero, himself blamed the Christians of doing it.
Because of their supposed hatred of mankind, he had the Christians capture and thrown to dogs, other Christians were nailed to crosses in his gardens, and Christians were also burned alive (the traditional punishment for arson) and he did that to Christians, he burned them to serve as living torches in the night (Tacitus, XV.44).

(In the year 66 AD) Nero, had Paul and Peter brought to justice and executed at Rome (e.g., Eusebius, Ecclesiastical History, II.25.5-8; Tertullian, The Prescription Against Heretics, XXXVI).

Nero was perceived by Christians as a persecutor of their faith; for Eusebius said, Nero was "the first that persecuted this doctrine" (Eusebius, Ecclesiastical History, II.25.4).
For Tertullian said, "Nero was the first emperor who dyed his sword in Christian blood, when Christians religion was but just arising at Rome" (Apology, V).
For Sulpicius Severus said, "Nero was the first to began a persecution" of Christians (Sacred History, II.28).

Nero was now firmly established and began to plunge into unholy pursuits, and armed himself even against the religion of the God of the universe.
And after subduing all the east, he exercised his cruelty against all at Rome
But because things was getting worse and worse in Judea that Nero was force to sent Florus to Judea to succeed Albunus in the year 64 AD.
In the year 65 AD, Florus, the worse of Caesar's procurators assumed control of Judea.

Paul letter to the church he say, "for the day shall not come unless it is preceded by a rebellion" and his warning was fulfilled.
In the second year of government of Florus, and the twelfth year of reign of Nero the war began (in the year 66 AD).

According to book of Josephus he explain that this things began to happen when Florus looked for way to provoke or to oblige the Jews to begin the war.
He did things which brought the Jews to a place of violent - rebellion- a rebellion too great for him to handle; Florus filled Judea with abundance of miseries.
He was so wicked and so violent in the use of his authority that the Jews took Albinus to have been [comparatively] their benefactor; so excessive were the mischiefs that he brought upon them.
For Albinus concealed his wickedness, and was careful that it might not be discovered to all men; but Gessius Florus, as though he had been sent by Nero Claudius Caesar on purpose to show his crimes to everybody, made a pompous ostentation of them to their nation, as never omitting any sort of violence, no any unjust sort of punishment; for he was not to be move by pity, and never was satisfied with any degree of gain that came in his way; nor he any more regard to great than to small acquisitions, but became a partner with the robbers themselves; for a great many fell them into that practice and depending on him that he would save them harmless in their particular robberies; so that there were no bonds set to the nation's miseries; but the unhappy Jews, when they were not able to bear the devastations which the robbers made among them, were all under a necessity of leaving their own habitations, and of flying away, as hoping to dwell more easily anywhere else in the world among foreigners than in their own country.

All of these thing cause some Jews to excited the people to go to war and the Jews who favor revolt became very violent and began to kill those who disagree with them, the revolting partly were known as Zealots. the high priest name Eleazar, the son of Ananias persuaded not to receive gift or sacrifice for any foreigner.
This was the true beginning of Jews war with the Romans; for they rejected the sacrifice of Florus on this account.
The Jews did irritate the Romans to take up arms against them, and invited them to make war upon them.

Florus could not handle the situation consequently, another man, Cestius Gallus took over, marching his armies to Jerusalem.
Jesus Christ says when the message is preach around the world and Jerusalem is surrounded by an army then the Christian Jews will know that their salvation is at hand.

Jesus said Matthew 24:15, "When you see the sign of uncleanness and desolation ...; in Luke 21:20 gives us more clear view what Jesus was talking about to his disciple he said, "And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed ("surrounded" according to the Aramaic bible) with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh ("destruction is at hand" according to the Aramaic bible).

According to Josephus the Roman's armies did surrounded Jerusalem and therefore the christian Jews saw Jesus Christ's words coming to pass, they were also warn to flee and don't come back, but now they are waiting for an opportunity, a clear way out for them to escape.

Josephus wrote in his book, the first attempt that the Romans soldiers surrounded the wall of the city of Jerusalem to conquer it, which gave the Jews no chance to run away neither to escape, the Jews almost gave up.
They were ready to open the gate of the city of Jerusalem and give up themselves to save the city of Jerusalem and the Holy temple, but mysteriously the Romans soldiers who had the power and a great chance to take the city, for no reason whatsoever they left the post, the Roman soldiers was order to withdraw back.
The unbeliever Jews saw this opportunity and they pursue after the Romans soldiers and they killed many of them, it was their first victory and the rebellious Jews built up themselves with self-confidence and with courage picking up arms and fighting for the protection of the city of Jerusalem.

Paul said that those who said peace and tranquility, then sudden destruction will come upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

Jesus also says to his disciples, all of them who have their heart heavy by extravagance and drunkenness and worries of this world that day come suddenly upon them.

Suddenly that day, when the Roman's soldiers come for the second time, the wicked Jews will be taken by surprise and they shall not escape and they shall be destroyed.
They will see Jerusalem being surrounded by an army again and nowhere to run and to hide and they will not escape the edge of the sword.
Destruction will come upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

When Cestius Gallus' armies were defeated God gave his children a clear path for them to flee; and according to Josephus all Christian Jews fled the wrath of God.
Josephus who witness the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple burned down, said that when Nero Cesar found out what happen to Cestius Gallus, Nero replace him with Vespasian.

History has recorded Vespasian sending his son Titus from Achaia to Alexandria to bring back with him from thence the fifth and tenth legions to marched against the Jews and to overthrown all the places that were near to Jerusalem, but when Vespasian was in Cesarea he heard the troubles that were at Rome and that Nero has committed suicide.

Nero reign from 54 AD to 68 AD, but from AD64 to AD 68 a period of 3-1/2 years---a time, times, and half a time---42 months---1,260 days Nero tread the Holy City under foot.

Nero was the Sixth kings of Rome according to the book of Revelation 17:10,11; 'five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come, and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.'
The five kings are Julius Caesar, Augustus, Tiberius, Caligula, Claudius.
The 'one who is' is Nero; 'the other is not yet come is Galba and when he come he 'must continue for a short space'.
According to Josephus he said Nero is the beast that John wrote about in Revelation 13:18.

The book of Daniel speak more about this:
In Daniel 2:38-44 speak about the dream Nebuchadnezzar had, in his dream he saw an image with the head of gold, chest and arms of silver, belly and thighs of brass, and legs of iron with feet of of iron [which represented Roman empire] and clay [which represented Jewish people see: Isaiah 64:8 and Jeremiah 18:4-6].
A stone smote the image upon its feet, the whole image was broken up, and the stone became a great mountain filling the whole earth.
And the various parts of the image symbolized four kingdoms or four empires: Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, and Rome.
The stone cut out without hands represented Christ and the impact of his Kingdom.
It stuck into the image in that portion that symbolized the Roman Empire while it was still in power, generally figure as existing from 63 BC to AD 476.

The dream the king of Babylon had is about events involving Daniel's people.
The Gentile kingdom represented in the image acquire significance primarily as they impacted the Jewish people.
Places like Australia, China, or Russia are not even in the picture.

Again who were the four Empires:

The first empire: Babylonian empire, under king Nebuchadnezzar, impacted the Jews because of their 70-year captivity.
The second empire: Medo-Persian empire, under Cyrus, granted the Jews freedom to return to Jerusalem and build again the city and temple.
The third empire: Greek empire that came to power under Antiochus Epiphanes who cruelly persecuted the Jews and devastating Jerusalem and the temple.
The fourth empire: Roman empire, which ruled over Judea at the time of Jesus Christ and then destroyed Jerusalem and the temple, and the Jewish nation in AD 70.

The iron and the clay represented that period during with Rome ruled over the Jewish nation, that time frame could not extend beyond AD 70, for that time the Jewish nation ceased to exist.

Then God of heaven through Jesus Christ did indeed set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed.
Jesus was born of a virgin and public preach the gospel of the kingdom and the time came that the kingdom of God was at hand [Gal 4:4; Mark 1:15].
And the people who Jesus said, you will not see death until you see the kingdom of God come or Jesus coming in his kingdom, for sure they saw his kingdom come with power [Matthew 16:28; Mark 9:1; Luke 9:27].

Therefore, the iron whcih represented the Roman empires, rule and control the clay the Jewish people in those days and at the end the Jewish nation, [Jerusalem] and the temple was destroyed.

In Daniel 7:7 it speak about four beasts ... a fourth beast ... it had tens horns [which represented Leaders of the ten provinces of Rome which were, Italy, Achaia, Asia, Syria, Egypt, Africa, Spain, Gaul, Britain, and Germany].

The scripture said, "I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking great things."

A little horn is a king.
The little horn is the imperial power embodied in the emperor over against the power of the senate and provincial governors, that had eyes like a man and a mouth boasting great things points to the blasphemy of the Caesars, who claimed to be gods and entitled to worship by men.
Daniel says the saints were delivered into the power to the little horn for a time, times, and the dividing of time or 42 month or 3 years (v. 21, 25).
The beast in Revelation is referring to the persecution under Nero and it is the same period the beast in Revelation made war against the saints (Rev. 13:5, 7; 11:7, 11).
Nero was the sixth king in succession from Julius Caesar (Rev. 17:10) and his name adds up to 666 the mystic number of the beast (Rev. 13:18).
Nero is the one who is refers as the little horn and who the early church recognized as the The man of sin, the son of perdition, in Revelation: the beast.

St. Jerome noted in his commentary on Daniel:

"And so there are many of our viewpoint who think that Domitius Nero was the Antichrist or the man of sin, the son of perdition because of his outstanding savagery and depravity."

Daniel said the three horns were plucked up before the little horn (Roman Emperor).
Daniel did not said they are plucked up by the little horn, but he said they are plucked up before (in front of) it.

It is refers to the provinces and client kings that rebelled under Nero: Britain, Armenia, and Syria.
The uprising of these three powers occur during Neros reign: The peace and prosperity of the Empire stood untouched, save for the distant wars in Britain, on the Euphrates and in Judaea.
Period historians Tacitus, Dio Cassius, and Suetonius provide details of these wars.
Suetonius summarizes them, saying, Neros reign was marked by a disaster in Britain, where two important towns were sacked and great numbers of citizens and allies were butchered; a shameful defeat in the Orient, in consequence of which the legions in Armenia were sent under the yoke, and Syria was all but lost.

But some scholars interpretation of the little horn here is Flavius Vespasian.
This idea on the belief that the three and a half year period the saints given into his hand speaks to the Jews war with Rome.
They have come with this theory that the three horns subdued by the little horn (v.24) refers to Galba, Othio, and Vitellius. However, this can not be defended.
Vespasian put down only Vitellius, and had no hand at all in the fall of Galba or Othio.

Moreover, Daniel says that after the destruction of the little horn, the time came when the saints received the kingdom (Daniel 7:27).

If the saints in v. 25 are the Jews as some scholar says, then the Jews receive the kingdom in v. 27!
But this is ridicules.
The Jews who did not receive Jesus neither believe he was the messiah the son of God were not the saints in the latter half of the first century; they were the enemy of God, the children of wrath because they had rejected the deliverer, the Messiah, the light of the world.

John 3:18,36 says, He who believes in him will not be condemned; and he who does not believe has already been condemned for not believing in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
He who believes in the Son has eternal life; and he who does not obey [believe] the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God shall remain on him.

The Christians Jews were the one who received the kingdom and dominion, not the Jews who rejected and did not believe that Jesus Christ was the messiah, the Son of God, who rose from the dead.
Christians Jews in those days were the saints and the true people of God.
The Jews who rejected Jesus Christ and did not believe in him were caught and killed by the Roman's soldiers at the battle and after the defeating of the rebels at several major battles the Jews who was caught alive was taken as prisoners.

George M. Lamsa who wrote the Holy Bible from Eastern Manuscripts also mention Nero Cesar to be the beast in the book of Revelation 13:18, and his name add up to 666.
The Hebrew rendering of Neros name is Nrwn Qsr (pronounced Neron Kaiser).
Each of the Hebrew letters contains a numeric value to them.
Here are values for Nrwn Qsr: N = 50; r = 200; w = 6; n = 50; Q = 100; s = 60; r = 200; total = 666.
One fascinating aspect of this cryptogram is that a textual Latin Vulgate variant in Rev. 13:18 reads 616 rather than 666.
616 is still the Latin numeric value of Nero's name.

Paul mentioned him as the man of sin who will revealed himself as the son of perdition who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is reverenced; so that even in the temple of God, he sits as a god, and shows himself, as though he were a god.

History tell us the statues of Roman emperors that were place in many cities were known as God and the people in those days worship it, even Claudius uncle Caligula (Gaius) attempted to put his image in the Temple in Jerusalem (Josephus, Ant. 18:8:2-3).
Caligula so bitterly hated that he appropriated to himself their places of worship in the other cities, and beginning with Alexandria he filled them with images and statues of himself.
His intention was to "show himself that he is God."

How about Herod, the scripture say, Upon the set day Herod arrayed in royal apparel sat upon the throne and address the assemble and the people shouting, saying this sound like the voice of God speaking and not that of a man and because he did not gave the glory to God, in that very hour the Lord smote him and he was eaten by disease and died [Acts 12:21-22].

2 Thessalonians 2:1-10 Paul wrote: that when he the wicked one be exposed, the Lord Jesus Christ shall consumed him with the spirit of his mouth and shall destroy him with the revelation of his coming.
The Lord God has his way of avenging his people, again history record the emperor Nero committed suicide in the year AD68.

There were 4 emperors that reign after him, but three of them did not last long, and before the year 70AD the last emperor that reign after Nero was Vespasian.
Vespasian turned his thought to what remained unsubdued in Judea.
He sent his son Titus with select party of his army, to destroy Jerusalem.
According to Josephus who witness the fall of Jerusalem, he state after Titus brought the four legions of soldiers from Egypt and surrounded Jerusalem for the second time he was more successful in the attack and slaughtering many Jews with the edge of the sword.

Lets look at history again and put it in order the destruction of the Jews, it Holy City and the temple.

Nero hearing that Judea was getting worse and worse he was force to sent Florus to succeed Albunus as governor in the year 65AD.
In the second year of government of Florus, and the twelfth year of reign of Nero the war began (66 AD).
Thing got more worse in Judea, Florus who had provoked the Jews to begin the war and now he can not control it, another man by the name of Cestius Gallus took over, it was on Autumn, September of the year 66AD.
Cestius Gallus marched with King Agrippa on October 15 and 16 of the year 66AD to Ptolemais with a total of 40,000 men of war.

But before he return to Ptolemais, he attacks the city of Chabulon in Gallillee on October 17 in the year 66AD and burn it and plunders the villages in the countryside.

Cestius took Joppa in Caesarea and kill 8400 citizens, they kill many inhabitants and burn the villages.

In November 4-5 of the year 66AD, Cestius' army march on Antipatris dispersing Jewish forces in the tower of Aphek.

On November 7 of the year 66AD, the Roman army march on to Lydda but found it deserted because all the Jews left to Jerusalem for the festival of Sukkot and so they march on toward Jerusalem, through the pass at Beth-Horon, make camp at Gabaon or Gibeon.

On November 11-13 of the year 66AD, Cestius remain at Gabaon for three more days while Agrippa attempts to negotiate with the rebel, to no effect; his ambassadors are killed.

On November 17 of the year 66AD, Cestius advances on Jerusalem and his soldiers surrounded the City and he sets fire to the suburban districts, and moves to the wall of the upper city and camp in the vicinity of the royal palace.
The Principal pro-Roman men of Jerusalem invite Cestius into the city, but because he delays, the rebels attack the pro-peace faction and murder their leaders and from the wall they attack the Romans. after five days the Roman heavily shielded are on the verge of undermining the wall and setting fire to the gate of the temple.

On November 22 of the year 66AD, Cestius suddenly give up and retreat from the city, without any reason in the world.

On November 25 of the year 66AD, Cestius who was leading the army to Beth-Horon now is trapped in the mountain passes of Beth-Horn, the Romans are easily cut down. Cestius and the army slip away, leaving 400 men behind as a deception but all of them were quickly slain by the rebels. A total of Romans infantry killed was 5300 and 480 cavalry at Beth-Horon.

On November 26-27 the rebels carry of weapons war engines, and supplies and sing on their way back to Jerusalem.

But in Autumn, November of the year 66AD, The Emperor Nero learns of the defeat of Cestius [this bad news fatally wounded Nero and his defeat was healed or recover Revelation 13:3] and he appointed General Vespassian to Conduct the war in Judea.

In the year 67AD, Titus son of the General Vespassian' brought with him the 15th Legion from Egypt to link with his father into the region of Galille and to battles both land and on the lake of Galillee.

In the spring of the year 68AD, Vespasian began to whittle away at the province of Judea, first cutting off Perea and then advancing down the lowlands to Emmaus.

In the year 68AD, a revolt broke out against Emperor Nero in Gaul and Spain. Fearing the worst, Nero committed suicide on June 9 of the year 68AD.

Galba became the Emperor of Rome On July 15 of the year 68AD, but his reign lasted only for 7 months, and on January 15 of the year 69AD he died.

On January 15 of the year 69 AD, Otho or Othio became the Emperor of Rome and committed suicide in April 14 of the year 69AD.

Vitellius became Emperor on April 16 of the year 69AD and he was Assassinated on 24 December AD 69.
Antonius Primus and Muchianus wanted to put an end the Civil war slew Vitellius and his Generals and his German legions.
Galba, Othio and Vitellius does yet estimate all their reigns together no more than a year, one month, and two days. .
So when Vespasian heard of these he went to Rome.

In the month of June 10 of the year 68 AD to the month of July 7 of the year 69AD there were four Emperor, and the last one of those men was Vespasian.
When Vitellius was declared to be emperor of Rome in April 69AD, in Roman Egypt and Judea reacted by declaring Vespasian emperor on 1 July of the year 69AD, and the governor of Syria, Mucianus, and a general in Pannonia, Primus, favor Vespasian as emperor and joined forces and led the Flavia forces against Vitellius and they defeated Vitellius on 20 December of the year 69AD and Vespasian was declared Emperor by the Roman Senate.
Vespasian reign on 1 July of the year 69AD and die on June 24 of the year 79AD.

Emperor Vespasian leave his son, Titus, to complete the conquest of the Jews.
Titus brought another Legion up from Egypt, giving him a total strength of four Legion to attack the city of Jerusalem.
Daniel said: the people of the [Messiah] prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined [Daniel 9:26].
Jesus the Messiah prince [Daniel 9:25] was the one who brought judgment and destroy the city and the sanctuary and left it desolation, even though Titus was the one who came with the soldiers and attack and brought down the walls and set fire the city and the temple, still, this war and destruction was the Lord's doing, the Lord's wrath, rewarding every man according to his works.
Therefore, the people of the prince is the people of the Messiah's prince Jesus Christ [see Daniel 9:25 and 26].

Titus arrives at Jerusalem in January of the year 70AD, he surround the city of Jerusalem, the Jews attack them but the Roman fight repeatedly rushed out and set fire to the siege engines.

On May 25 of the year 70AD, the soldiers managed to break through the northern wall and enter the New Quarter of Jerusalem, and in five days they knock out a narrow breach in the wall which is the second wall where the Jews retreated to. Titus overran the Jews in a massive attack and once the wall of the city was in possession of the Roman, Titus proceed to tear it down.

The Roman's soldiers attacked down into the Temple compound.
On August 27 of the year 70AD Titus wrote a order letter to set fire to the Gate Beautiful.

On August 30 of the year 70AD, they gain entrance into the temple, setting it on fire and the fire raged all day and they slaughtering thousands.
The women and children who were hidden themselves in the treasury chambers were set on fire too.
The Temple was burned to the ground, in the fulfillment of the prophecy of Jesus that not one stone was left upon another.

According to Josephus a writer who witness the fall of the city of Jerusalem, wrote, that Titus's armies swept down into the Lower City, but it took another month for them to take the Upper City and Herod's Palace.

Did all of this happen and came to pass?
Yes, it did happen and it came to passed in 70 AD.
History has record it and books are sold in many book store and library carry it of the wars of the Jews and the destruction of the city of Jerusalem in 70 AD.
Again, all of these came to passed and Jesus prediction was fulfilled letter by letter in the year 70AD.

The day of the Lord is a day of vengeance and destruction, but also its a day of deliverance and Salvation.
Jesus said it is a day of destruction, and a day of vengeance [Luke 21:20,22]; he also said, it is a day of salvation, and a day you know the kingdom of God is near, and a day for you to stand before the Son of man [Luke 21:28,31,36].

The Christians Jews who were faithful to God were delivery and save from the wrath of God.
The Christian Jews saw and witnesses all these things and the words of Jesus Christ being fulfilled letter by letter.
They saw it come to pass, because their eyes were open to see it and to remember his saying.

It is obvious that they did not know the day neither the hour when Jesus will comes, but those who were watchful at all time were able to see it and escape it, the angel of the Lord gather them and guided them out of the city to a safe place while the other angels gather the wicked, the rebellious people who did not obey his word and surrender them into the hands of the Romans soldiers for their destruction.

Did Gods angels manifest themselves before their eyes, it is not recorded in the book of Josephus, but we do know through the scripture in the spiritual realm God gives his angels charge over his chosen one to keep them in all their ways, even keeping them in their ways to the mountain and escape the wrath of God.

The bible says that his angel encamp around those who reverence him (but does not necessary mean that you will see them, oh perhaps I am wrong, can you see them at all time?) and they have charge over them to keep them in all their ways (Psalms 91:10-12).

According to Josephus a witness, he said, all the Christians Jews escape the wrath and the destruction of Jerusalem in the year AD70.

In book of Revelation it tell us about the temple that was still standing at that time when John wrote the book of Revelation, [Revelation 11:1,2], this means it was standing before the destruction of Jerusalem in 70AD.
The book of Revelation says, "And there was given to me a reed like a rod; and the angel stood, saying, Arise and measure the temple of God and the altar and those who worship therein.
But leave out the outer court of the temple, and do not measure it; for it is given to the Gentiles; and they shall tread the Holy City under foot for forty and two months.

Again, Revelation 11:1,2 proof at that time Jerusalem was not destroyed and the temple was still standing.
And it a verse that speaks of the temple that shall be tread under foot forty and two months by the Gentiles.

The same similar verse is found in Luke 21:20-24 Jesus told his disciples that they would see this event.
The disciples ask him in Luke 21 verse 7, when it will be destroyed and Jesus says to them before this generation pass away, Jerusalem will be trodden under the feet of the Gentiles until the time of the Gentiles comes to an end [Luke 21:24, 32].
Christ told John the same thing and therefore, Revelation has to be written before the Gentiles trampled Jerusalem under foot in 70AD.

Revelation 1:7:
Behold he will come with the clouds; and every eye shall see him, even the men who pierced him; and all the kindreds of the earth shall wail over him. Even so, Amen.

Matthew 24:30:
Then the sign of the Son of man will appear in the sky; and then all the generations of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of man coming on the clouds of the sky, with an army and great glory.

Both of these verses speak the same thing, even though those who pierce him was the Roman soldiers, but the apostles accused the Jews of the act as they were the one who did it [Read Acts 3:15; 4:10; 7:51-52; 1 Corinthians 2:8].

The very one who was chosen for this purpose from the very beginning of knowledge and will of God, you have delivered into the hands of wicked men, and you have crucified and murdered him; ..
Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this very Jesus, whom you have crucified, both Lord and Christ [Acts 2:23,36].

The God of our fathers has raised up Jesus whom you murdered when you nailed him on the cross [Acts 5:30].

All the kindreds of the earth shall wail or mourn after seeing the sign of the Son of man.
What sign they will see, the sign of the refuse of desolation, as spoken by the prophet Daniel, accumulating in the holy place.

In the book of Luke 21:20,24 reveal the desolation as spoken by the prophet Daniel: But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by an army, then know that its destruction is at hand or the desolation thereof is nigh.
For these are the days of vengeance, so that everything which is written must be fulfilled.
.... For there will be great distress in the land, and wrath to this people.
And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and they will be taken captive to every country; and Jerusalem will be trodden under the feet of the Gentiles until the time of the Gentiles comes to an end.

They [the Jew] are going to mourn or wail after seeing Jerusalem surrounded by an army, for these are the days of vengeance.

Looks all these chapter and verses that John wrote to the seven angels of the seven churches:

Revelation 1:1, God is showing them the things that shortly will come to pass.
Revelation 2:16; repent or I will come to thee quickly.
Revelation 3:11; Behold, I come quickly, hold what you have.
Revelation 22:6, God is sending his angels to his servants to show them the things which shortly be done.
Revelation 22:7 Behold, I come quickly; blessed is he who keep the saying of the prophecy of this book.
Revelation 22:10 ... do not seal the words of the prophecy of this book for the time is at hand.
Revelation 22:12 Behold I come quickly and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
Revelation 22:20 He who testifies these things says, Surely, I come quickly. Amen. Come Lord Jesus.

If the seven angels of the seven churches in those days were shown all of these things which shortly will come to pass, then why scholars or teachers or preachers today are teaching and preaching "he is coming quickly" to means it will happen any moment now, in out time or in the nearest future after we are all gone?
Their theory does not make any sense at all.

Look at the following verse:
Revelation 22:10 says, do not seal the words of the prophecy of this book for the time is at hand.
Now if you compare this prophecy with Daniel prophecy which said: O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end.
You will notice that one says, seal it, even to the time of the end; and the other one says, don't seal it, for the time is at hand.
It does not take a scholar to know that both are not talking about the same order of time.
One book is seal for the future and the other book is open now for the church in John time.
John's book of Revelation is an open book for the people of his days.

If the coming of the Lord would take place some time in the future after Jesus' generation has passed away, then the Lord would have told John to seal the words of the prophecy of this book, even to the time of the future end, but that is not what Jesus said to him, Jesus told him the words of the prophecy of this book do not seal it and because everything that is written in it will very soon happen in their present generation.

Nero was reigning in the beginning of the war and John wrote about him, that he is the one who is (Revelation 17:10,11).
Nero Cesar during his reigned persecute the Christian putting many of them to death.
A great fire in the city of Rome during Nero reigned in 64 AD, was blame on the Christians, Nero blame them.
The Christianity grow so much and reach to Rome that it cause a lot jealousy in Rome.

Nero was not the only person who was persecuting the Christian Jews, the Christians were also persecuted by religious Jews who were jealous of the law of Moses and many Christians were put in jail and other was stone to death.

According to John, Nero was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies and to exercise its authority for forty-two months. and to wage war against Gods holy people and to conquer them [Revelation 13:7].

Who is the holy people?

For sure was not the rebel Jews who did not believe Jesus words, neither believe he came from God, nor believe he is the Son of God, but the believers Jews who accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as their savior, they were the holy people of God who Nero wage war to conquer them.

Daniel 7:25, he said, And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time [3 1/2 years]..

From the year AD64 to AD 68 Nero was given power for 3 1/2 years as Daniel and John had said.
Nero is the beast, the one who is, who was to wear out the saints of the most high by warring against them and conquer them.

According to history, the beginning started in 30 AD up to 37 AD, the believers were persecuted and put to prison and some of them to death, but in the year 37 AD another persecution began, it is called: the great persecution started against the church which was at Jerusalem and Paul entering into houses and dragging out men and women and delivery them to prison.
But not for long in the same year 37 AD Paul was determine to bound to prison woman and man who believe in Jesus; but fortunately when Paul came near Damascus suddenly a shine light from heaven and Jesus appeared to him and spoke to him and after Jesus spoke to Paul, he was blinded and could not see around him but later he got his slight back and Paul got saved but then the religions leader seeing he became a believers began to persecuted him too.

Because Christianity was growing in Rome, many other were concern that the rest of the people of Rome would turn Christians and abandoned their custom and belief, because of Jealousy Nero began to accuse falsely the Christians on setting a great fire in Rome that lasted for six days which three districts were completely destroyed and persecute all of them and put many of them in jail, while many were torture other were put to death.

In the beginning the leaders Jews started the persecution of Christians believers and Peter, John, and Paul was put in jail, after they were release John seem to have travel to isle called Patmos during those days of suffering because of the word of God and because of the testimony of Jesus Christ, even the seven angels of the seven churches were suffering the same trial as John.
There from Patmos he wrote the book of Revelation before Nero make war against the believers in the year 64 AD.
The trial of the brethren and of the seven churches are part of the tribulation because of the gospel and because of the testimony of Jesus Christ.
John suffering was happening during the time of persecution of the apostles by the leaders Jews.

When Nero began to accuse falsely the Christian Jews of a fire that lasted for six days which three districts were completely destroyed in the year 64 AD at Rome, Paul and Peter were put in Jail again and around the year 66 AD they were put to death, but years later in 68 AD John was banished to isle called Patmos by Nero.

John was in the isle called Patmos when he wrote the book of Revelation.
He was there 'for' the word of God and 'for' the testimony of Jesus Christ and not 'because of' the word of God and 'because of' the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Nero banished John has nothing to do with John being there for the word and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.
and then after writing it he return and visit the seven angels of the seven churches in Asia.

For Christians to gathered together and worship and praise God they have to do it secretly, they have to hid themselves in places where they can not be found for the fear of being caught.

Did Nero made war against God's people [the Christians] and wear out all of them for 3 1/2 years according to the scripture?
Yes, he did [Revelation 1:9].

The scripture says, the wicked one whom our Lord Jesus shall consume with the spirit of his mouth and shall destroy with the revelation of his coming (2 Thessalonians 2:8).
His prediction came to pass in the year AD68, Nero committed suicide.

Let continue with Vespasian after he became king

After Vespasian became the king he order Titus his son to go to Jerusalem and destroyed it and when Titus arrived and surrounded the City Jerusalem, they were more successful in taking the city and killing the wicked Jews with the edge of the sword, and those who was caught alive was led away captive into all nations: and for 3 1/2 years Jerusalem was trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled [Luke 21:24].

John repeat what Jesus has said, the court which is without the temple it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months [Revelation 11:2].

Another word Jesus was saying, 'For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side, and shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another [talking about the temple]; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation [Luke 19:43-44].

Jesus had already warn them, and as Jesus was leaving the temple, some of his disciples were remarking about how the temple was adorned with beautiful stones and with gifts dedicated to God, and one of his disciples said to Jesus, Look, Teacher! What massive stones! What magnificent building! And Jesus said to him and to the rest of his disciples, Do you see all these great building [temple], verily I say to you, the time will come there shall not be here one stone upon another, every one of them will be throw down [Matthew 24:1,2; Mark 13:1,2; Luke 21:5,6].

People said, the book of John was written in the year 96AD and they back it up with John 21:22.

But if you read the book of John you will be surprise to know the true of what John wrote in the book, it said, "But what Jesus said was not that he would not die (talking about John himself), but, if I wish that he should remain until I come back, what difference does that make to you?

The scripture tell us that Jesus Christ did not said that John will live long or that John will not live long to see his coming.
Read that verse again and you will find out that Jesus was telling Peter, John might see or see not his coming.
But the main point here is Jesus is coming with or without John being present to see it.
Does not that tell us anything about Christ manifestation that might happen whether John is still alive or not.

Tell me, if John is to be alive and present to see his coming, how long would John live to see his coming?

If John was to be alive to see his coming, then that time has already come to passed because Christ's prediction have been fulfilled for over 2000 years ago.

Jesus' coming was for his generation, and not for some future generation [two thousands years later] as some teachers are teaching now and some preachers are preaching today.

Well for those who hold the future rapture; John is gone over two thousand years ago; now tell me doesn't all of these historical fulfillment evidence ring a bell?
And perhaps the teaching and preaching you have been hearing all of these year might be inaccurate, if not, then you have rejected the fulfillment of our Lord Jesus Christ and you are calling him a liar when he said, This generation or this race will not pass away until all these things happen [Matthew 24 and Luke 21]

John could not have written the gospel of John neither the first, the second, the third epistles of John, nor the book of Revelation in the year 96AD.
John and the angels of the seven churches trial were caused by the leaders Jews, they were the one to be blamed for their sorrow in the beginning.
Why I say it was cause by the leaders Jews? Because the Leader Jews did a lot of harm to the brethren and to John in the beginning.
If John was at isle of Patmos when he wrote the book, then he was there because he was suffering for the cause of Christ and his testimony, but return back again to visit and warn the seven angels of the seven churches of what is going to come to passed.
If the seven churches was still standing at that time John was at Patmos and wrote the book of Revelation then John must have wrote it between the year 30 AD to 63 AD.

John was put in prison in the beginning of persecution and then release, but many years later in 68 AD he was banished to isle called Patmos.
Robert Young wrote the book of Young's Concise Commentary on the Holy Bible (1865) and he stated that Nero was the one who banished John to Patmos in the year 68 AD, and it is also stated in the title of the Syriac Version of the Book.

Lets resume, first in the beginning John wrote the book of Revelation at Patmos but many years later John was banished to Patmos.

In the beginning, at Patmos, John heard when the temple was measure but how can the temple be measure if the outward temple has been destroyed?
The reason the temple was measure because it was still standing.
Again this leave us a date when it was written between 30 AD to 63 AD.

Revelation 6:9-11 also says, when the fifth seal was opened, John saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the sake of the word of God and for the testimony of the Lamb which they had; .... and a white robe was given to every one of them; and it was said to them that they should rest yet for a little while, until the time should be fulfilled when their fellow servants and their brethren should be killed also as they had been.

Since Jesus Christ rose from the dead, his disciple went around preaching the gospel and many of them even many of the brethren were persecuted, other put to death, and other put into prison.
Peter and Paul were also put into prison, but later they were killed too just like their fellow brethren.
After Peter and Paul was killed, many after them were also killed in the same way or even in a worse manner.

Since the beginning the apostle started preaching the gospel and many rest in danger at all time for believing and turning many Gentiles's faith to Jesus Christ.

It is foolish to believe that John, Peter and Paul suffering happen in a different time of date, and that John suffering took place 26 years later after the destruction of Jerusalem; to believe this is ridiculous.
The suffering of Peter, Paul, and John took place started in the year 30 AD and from the beginning of trial forward their suffering increase even more worse.

Lets read again Revelation 6:9-11 it said: "it shall be fulfilled when their fellow servant and their brethren should be kill also as they have been for the sake of the word of God and for the testimony of the Lamb which they had.
John to the angels of the seven churches, he said unto them the thing which must shortly come to pass ... and the time is at hand."

Must shortly come to pass and the time is at hand, is not talking about a future event that will occur after two thousands of years or more had passed.
Their fellow servant and their brethren will be killed shortly or soon in their present time [first century men who were alive and have not die yet] and to teach the opposite is incorrect, deceiving and against the word of God?

Suppose the president of USA had with him a written documentation of taxes decrease that will benefit many family of low incomes.
But before it become a law, the written documentation must be pass over to the congress for them to vote to approve it, and while they are voting for approval, if the leader announce to the whole nations: the taxes decrease is in the hands of congress and they are voting right now, soon I will have the answer and if the congress approved it many family of low income that pays higher taxes will benefit from it.

If you hear this announcement from the president of USA you wouldn't says to yourselves, "well the congress decision will be handed to the president of USA some time in the nearest future when my children's children's give birth to their children's children perhaps two thousands years from now?"
No, you wouldn't says something like that because it will sound so ridiculous, right?
You just believe his word that soon he will have in his hand the congress decision.

The same with the book of Revelation; John is telling the seven angels of the seven churches in his time that the word of this prophecy and those thing which is written in it must soon come to pass, in their present time, for the time is at hand.
Again the word of the prophecy is not sealed, for shortly it will come to pass and the time is at hand [Revelation 22:10].

John wrote to the church of Thyatira and he said to them, "...But that which you have already hold fast till I come."

If the Lord is saying to the church of Thyatira to hold fast that which they have till he come, then does not that tell the church in his time, soon they will see his coming?

Now why would Jesus says to them "till I come", if his coming was to take place thousands of years later after the angel of the church of Thyatira are dead and burying in the tomb, gone forever?
You see how ridiculous is to believe that John wrote Revelation in the year AD96 for future generation, after two thousand years later, when John said to the church of Thyatira that they are the one who are to see his coming.

And if John did not write the book of Revelation between the year 30 AD to 63AD, then it does not make any sense to believe he wrote it in the year AD96 because after the destruction of Jerusalem in AD70 all the wall of the temple and all the wall of the city even the pool called Bethesda came down in pieces in the year 70AD, and all the people of the church of Thyatira are gone for over two thousand years ago.

So then who was John talking to?
He was talking to the brethren of his time and not to us.
Those who don't believe and reject the prediction and the fulfillment of Jesus Christ, sadly to say they are calling Jesus the Son of God a liar.

It is obvious, the Revelation of Jesus Christ who God show it to John his servant was giving to the early churches [in Jesus' generation] for them to get ready for that day which must soon come to pass.

Another thing John wrote, "Behold he will come with the clouds; and every eye shall see him, even the men who pierced him; and all the kindreds of the earth shall wail over him. Even so, Amen (Revelation 1:7).

Here John is written to the seven angels of the churches telling them that those men who has pierce Jesus Christ; they will see Jesus Christ comes with the clouds.

If the men who pierced Jesus Christ will not see him coming with the clouds then who was John talking about?
It is impossible to believe that John was talking about some other man who pierce the lord and some other kindreds of the earth, it will be out of line of the word of God, it will be against the scripture.

During and after the year 96AD Jerusalem and the temple was no more.
Those men who heard Jesus saying: "there are men here who will not taste death until they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom" are dead and buried in the grave.
They saw Jesus coming with ten thousands of his saints. To execute judgment upon all, and to punish all who are ungodly for all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in an ungodly manner, and for all the harsh words which the ungodly sinners have spoken. [Jude 14-15].
When the Roman's soldiers came they killed ungodly Jews and destroyed all of them.

Peter said, the present heavens and earth are sustained by his word and are reserved for fire on the day of judgment, which is the day of destruction of ungodly men.
Peter is talking about the present time and not the future time.
It is God judgment pulling upon all ungodly Jews, the City of Jerusalem and it's temple.
The day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, when the heavens shall suddenly pass away and the elements shall separate as they burn, and the earth also and the works that are in it shall not be found ...
.... Looking for and longing for the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being tested with fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? [2 Peter 3:1-18].
The Roman's soldiers did the job as Jesus has said they will do it, in burning down the Holy City and it temple.

Paul said, This is an example of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be made worthy of his kingdom, for which you also suffer.

Who was suffering? the church was suffering, the same sorrow John was suffering for the sake of the gospel.

Paul continue saying, And if it seems a righteous thing before the presence of God, he will recompense tribulation to those who oppress you; and to you who are oppressed he shall grant to be at peace with us when our Lord Jesus Christ shall be revealed from heaven with the host of his angels, at which time he will avenge with flaming fire those who know not God and those who do not acknowledge the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ; for they, at the judgment day, shall be rewarded with everlasting destruction from the presence of our Lord and from the glory of his power, when he comes to be glorified by his saints and to perform his wonders among his faithful ones, so that our testimony concerning you may be believed in that day [2 Thessalonians 1:5-10].

Did not the wicked Jews who had oppressed and killed the prophet and persecute the church and killed the disciples, Jesus avenge them by bringing the Roman soldiers against them to destruct them and with flaming fire burn down the temple and the Holy city? Yes, he did in 70AD.

What does Jesus says? he will send his angels to gather his chosen one from the four winds, from one end of the heaven to the other [Matthew 24:30-31].

And Jesus continue saying, the Son of man will send his angels, and they will pick out from his kingdom all things which cause stumbling, and all workers of iniquity. And they will throw them into the furnace of fire; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous ones shall shine as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear. So will it be at the end of the world; the angels will go out and separate the bad from among the righteous, And they will throw them into the furnace of fire; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. [Matthew 13:41-43, 49-50].

All of these chapters and verses shows how Jesus our Lord, his righteous judgment will come, his righteous judgment is tribulation, flaming fire and destruction for the ungodly men, and this is done by bringing the Roman Soldiers to punish the wicked people, just like he did in the old days with the people of Babylon who did wicked things and anger God, the Lord brought nations from afar who did not have mercy neither compassion nor pity for infants, women and elders. Young and old men and infants were killed with the point of the sword and their houses was spoiled and their wives raped [Isaiah 13:1-22].

The same things happen in the days of the Lord, he gather nations against Jerusalem to battle and the houses to plundered and the women ravished. [Zechariah 14:1-9].

The Lord in his wrath has Titus to bring the 5th and 10th legions of soldiers from Egypt the first time he battle before Vespasian reign in Rome, but after Vespasian reign in Rome, the Lord again has Titus to bring with him legions from Egypt a total of four legions in all, these Soldiers did not have any mercy nor pity of any person whom they attack and slaughter all the wicked Jews with the edge of the sword, in the year 70 AD.

Jesus compare the day of the Lord like the day of Lot, and the day of Noah .
And if the day of the Lord was after Lot and his family escape safely to the mountain and Noah and his family entered in the ark and the door of the ark was close, and all the wicked people who did not enter into the ark and all those wicked people who were in Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed, then does not that also tell you the day of the Son of Man or the day of Lord happen when his people fled to the mountain safely and the wicked people who stood behind were destroyed by the Roman's soldiers, in the year AD70?

VISION

Man can see vision: Peter and James and John saw Jesus' transfigured in the mountain.
The word says, the appearance of his face was changed and shone like the sun before their eyes and his clothes became white like light and like snow in a such a manner that man on earth cannot make white. Jesus said that it was a vision. (Matthew 17:2; Mark 9:2; and Luke 9:29).

Stephen, who was full of faith and Holy Spirit, looked up to heaven and saw the heaven opened and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God. Stephen saw a vision but the people who stones him to death didn't saw Jesus. (Acts 7;1-56)>

Paul heard the voice of Jesus Christ: Paul who was filled with anger and with threat of murder against the disciples of our Lord.
when he journeyed, he came to Damascus, and suddenly a light from the sky shone round about him; and he heard the voice of the Lord and the men who journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing only a voice, but seeing no man.
Paul saw it with the eye of the spirit.
Paul saw the Lord with his eyes but he became blinded after he saw him and the men who was with Paul, led him by the hand and brought him to Damascus (Acts 9:1-9).

In a vision Ananias heard the voice of the Lord saying to him to go to the street which is called Straight and inquire at the house of Judah for Saul of of the city of Tarsus; for behold he is praying.

Cornelius saw a openly a vision: There was in of Caesareaa a man by the name Cornelius, a centurion of the regiment which is called Italian, a righteousness and God-fearing, as were all his household; who gave alms to the people abundantly, and always sought after God.
Very openly in a vision about three O'clock in the afternoon he saw an angel of God who came in to him and said to him, "Cornelius.
Here the angel of God came to him and spoke to him but the word of God said it was a vision.
And he looked at the angel and was afraid, and he said, what is it my Lord? And the angel said to him, "Your prayers and your alms have come up for a memorial before God .... (Acts 10:1-7)

Peter fell into a trance or vision: Peter when he went to the housetop to pray and he became hungry and wanted to eat something, but while people were preparing food for him, he fell into a trance (A trance is also an open vision).
And he saw the heaven open and something fastened at the four corners, resembling a large linen cloth, was let down from heaven to the earth, and there were in it all kinds of fourfooted beasts, and creeping things of the earth and birds of the air.
And there came a voice to him, saying, Simon Peter, rise, kill and eat .... While Simon Peter meditated about the vision (Here it state the trance was a vision), the Spirit said to him, Behold, there men seek you.
Arise, go down and go with the, without doubt in your mind; for I have sent them (Acts 10:9-20.
Peter saw this vision and heard the voice of the Spirit.

Peter saw a angel: When Peter was in Jail and he was sleeping between two soldier, bound with two chains, and others were guarding the doors of the prison.
The angel of the Lord stood over him, and a light shone in all the prison; and the angel touched him on the side and woke him, and said to him, "Rise up quickly.
And the chains fell off from his hands.
.... and the angel said to him ..... follow me.
And he went out and followed the angel, not knowing that what was done by the angel was true, but thought he saw a vision (this time an angel was sent by the Lord to deliver them from the prison and what was done by the angel was true and not just a vision only) and when they have gone out and had passed one street, the angel departed from him (in the other word disappeared).
And when Simon Peter came to himself he said, Now I surely know that the Lord has sent his angel and has delivered me out of the hand of Herod, the King, and from all that the Jews were conspiring against me (Acts 12:1-11).

You see Peter first thought it was just an vision because a vision you can see and hear, but when he saw everything that was done was true then he realize it was a deliverance of the Lord.

Vision, no one can see it and hear it unless God allow it, Just like Paul who saw the light and heard the voice, but the men who was with him heard only the voice but saw no man.
When something that is done by an angel is true then it is a deliverance of the Lord.

Jesus after his death walk through the wall and appeared to his disciples (you know brothers that flesh and bones can't walk through the wall), he look at them and say to them , "Peace be with you, and do not be afraid", but they were confuse and frightened, let continual reading, "Why do you tremble? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts? Look at my hands and my feet, that it is I; feel me and understand", look what the next verse says, "For a spirit has no flesh and bones, as you see I have."

Jesus walk through the wall and presented himself to his disciples and show them his hand and his feet for them to feel it and understand that he has flesh and bones, but what make them be afraid of him was though he has flesh and bones walk through the wall.
Now there are cases where God send his angels to appear and help us escape any harms, and to hear the word of the Lord.
Angel are spirit but still there are time you can see, hear and touch them with your hands when God allow it.

It happen to Lot, in the book of Genesis the angels of the Lord were sent to Sodom and Gomorrah to destroy it and after they enter into the city of Sodom and Gomorrah they were seen by Lot and his family and the men of the city.
The angels held the hands of Lot and the hands of his family because the Lord pity him and the angels took him out and set him outside the city for him to escape for his life and to flee to the mountain lest he be consumed (Genesis 19:1-30).

Angels can be seen by men as God pleases many time to give men a message and to deliver them from any wrath.
Angel can gives us direction too: The angel of the Lord spoke to Philip, saying, 'Arise and go south by way of the desert that leads down from Jerusalem to Gaza, when he was there he met a man and he spoke to him about Jesus and the man believe and was baptized and after this the Spirit of the Lord caught Philip away and the man saw him no more and Philip was found at Azotus; and from there he traveled around and preached in all the cities till he came to Ceasarea (Acts 8:25-40)

The angels of the Lord can show up and you might not recognize them, they can gather themselves in group and talk to you and show you things without you knowing who they are.

In the book of Hebrews 13:2 it says, "And forget not hospitality toward strangers; for thereby some were worthy to entertain angels unawares."

If an angel appear to you and you see him, is because God allow it for a purpose perhaps to give you a message, maybe to delivery you from any danger, or it could also be for you to entertain them.
Angels can be seen as God permit it.
Vision are never seen with our canal eyes but with our spiritual eyes.

Peter, James, and John saw a vision of Jesus transfigured in the mountain.
In the vision they also saw Moses and Elijah that appear to Jesus and they spoke to Jesus about his departure which was to end at Jerusalem.
Moses, Elijah and Jesus' conversation was seen and heard by his disciples and in Matthew 17:9, Jesus said to his disciples: Do not speak of this vision in the presence of anyone until the Son of man rises from the dead.
Jesus acknowledge that what they heard and saw was actually a vision.
Jesus' transfiguration and the appearing of Moses and Elijah, all of these things his disciples heard and saw in a vision (Matthew 17:2; Mark 9:2; and Luke 9:29)
Jesus transfigured and ascended to heaven from the mount which is called Olive and the Men of Galilee saw it [Acts 1:9-12].

The book of John 1:1-14 said, "The word was with God ,,,,, and became flesh and dwell among us. ...."
John wrote that Jesus appear to his disciples many times after his resurrection, Peter and John saw him and there were other time he did miracle in the presence of his disciples and other miracle which are not written in the book (John 20:30;Acts 1:1-5).

There are moment that you may not know who they are, but there are moment that you may know who they are.
If you remember when Jesus rose from the dead, Mary was standing near the tomb weeping; and as she wept, she looked into the tomb; and she saw two angels in white sitting one at the head and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain.
And they said to her, woman, why do you weep? She said to them, because they have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have laid him [she did not have any ideal who they were.]
She said this and turned around and saw Jesus standing, but she did not know that it was Jesus, neither did she recognize him.
But When he said to her, "Mary" then she turned around and said to him in Hebrew, Rabbuli! which means, My Teacher!; she recognize him now (John 20:11-16).

In Acts 1:9, "a cloud", are knows as living creature.
The scripture said, his disciples saw him ascending while they were looking at him; a cloud received him and he was hidden form their sight.
And while they looked steadfast toward heaven as he went up, behold two men [from the cloud] stood by them in white robes; And they said to them, Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven?
This same Jesus who has ascended form you into heaven shall so come in like manner as you have seen him ascend into heaven (Acts 1:8-11).
Jesus will descend the same way he ascended, but does this mean that everyone who was there will see him again but this time descended?
Those men who saw Jesus ascending into heaven and the two men standing by them in white robes, what they saw was a vision.

If their eyes was not open to seen this vision they would have not see the angels receiving the Lord?.
These two men standing by them in white robes said unto them, this same Jesus who has ascend into heaven shall so come in like manner as you have seen him ascend into heaven.
Did the two angels said to the men of Galilee, "this same Jesus who has ascend into heaven you shall again seen him come in like manner as you have seen him ascend into heaven, no brother they did not says that.
The angels was just telling them this is the way he will come back again, the same way he left, but not necessary means that they will see him coming down in a vision again.
I can prove that God's angels can be in front of people and guide them and speak to them and yet people would not even see them, and even if they see them, they would not know they are angels; take a look at the story of Moses.

God said to Moses to tell the People that his angel will come before them to guard them on the way and to bring them into the land which God has prepared.
To heed him and obey his voice; do not strive against him; perhaps he will not pardon your transgression; for God name is upon him.
But if the people shall indeed obey him his voice and do all that he says to you, then I will hate those who hate you and oppress your enemies (Exodus 23:20-22).

Later the people force Aaron to make gods of gold that they may go before them and they all sin before God, God was mad at them and gave a command to Moses and he obey, Moses order the Levites to go in and out from door to door throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, his friend, and his neighbor.
And the Levites did according to the word of Moses; and there fell of the people that day about three thousand men.
Moses said to them, Strengthen yourselves today before the Lord, every man with his son and with his brother; for a blessing shall come upon you today.

And it came to pass on the next day, Moses said to the people, You have sinned this great sin; and now I will go up to the Lord; perhaps he may forgive your transgressions.
....The Lord said to Moses, whosoever has sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.
Therefore now go, lead the people to the place where I tell you; behold, my angel shall go before you; nevertheless in the day when I punish I will visit their sins upon them.
And the Lord smote the people because they worshipped the calf which Aaron made (Exodus 32:21-35).

Here in the story of Moses, God told him that his angel will lead them, guarding them on the way and will bring them into the land which God has prepared; to heed to him and to obey his voice for his name is upon him, again, God said to Moses my angel shall go before you.
Did the people saw his angel? Did Moses saw God's angel? The angel of the Lord was there and whether they saw him or not, the angel did lead them and guard them on their way and brought them into the land which God has prepared to them.
The same way happen in Jesus' generation, God's angels was there with the Christians Jews perhaps they did not saw the angels but they were there leading them out of the city of Jerusalem to flee to the mountain.

Jesus Christ said to his disciple when the son of Man comes will he find faith on the earth? (Luke 18:8).
If you doubt and don't believe his word, you don't have faith.
Faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God.

Therefore not finding faith on earth is not having his word in them.
If you want to see the spiritual realm, then seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness. live a holy life daily.
The scripture said, follow peace with all men, and holiness, without no man shall see the Lord (Hebrew 12:14).
A man without peace and holiness he can not see the Lord; and a man without faith he can not please God either; for he who comes near God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him.
Remember we walk by faith and not by sight.

When the bible said, behold he will comes with the clouds; and every eyes shall see him, even the men who pierce him; and all the kindreds of the earth shall wail over him.

You might think and says, for sure all the people of the earth will see him, right?
But the book of Hebrews 12:14 said, that only those who follow peace with all men, and holiness, will see the Lord.
Therefore the book of Revelation 1:7 must be understood this way, seeing the Roman's soldiers surrounding the city of Jerusalem, is seeing the sign of the Son of man, and his coming with the cloud [Matthew 24:30,33-45; Luke 21:20,22,24,25-28,31,32,35,36].
All the people will see Jesus' prediction fulfilled from the very beginning to the end.
Going through persecution and enter into the great persecution is seeing the fulfillment of Jesus Christ coming to passed.

Peter said to the church in his time, "But the present heavens and earth are sustained by his word and are reserved for fire on the day of judgment, which is the day of destruction of ungodly men" [1 Peter 3:7].

The present heavens and earth [not the future heavens and earth] is reserve for fire and destruction for all ungodly men.
Did not the Roman's soldiers burn with fire the wall of the City and the temple and destroy the wicked people with the edge of the sword? yes they did.

Look on 1 Peter 3:10, Peter tell the church when the day of the Lord will be: "But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, when the heavens shall suddenly pass away and the element shall separate as they burn.
And the earth also and the works that are in it shall not be found."
Verse 12, "looking for and longing for the coming of the day of the God, wherein the heavens being tested with fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

The suffering of the Jews and the destruction of the city of Jerusalem and its temple became history and it was fulfilled letter by letter in 70 AD.

What is the reward?

The bible said in 1 Peter 1:9, "And you will receive the reward of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
God rewards your faith, he reward salvation for your soul.

In Philippians 3:20,21, Paul writing to the church of Philippi he says to them, "But our labour are in heavenly things from whence we look for our Saviour, our Lord Jesus Christ, who shall transform our poor body to the likeness of his glorious body, according to his mighty power whereby he is able even to subdue all things to himself."
We look for him and he reward us by transforming our poor body to the likeness of his glorious body, the body of Christ, including the salvation of our souls.
It is a spiritual body with spiritual eyes that can see spiritual thing.

Paul talks more about the body of Christ, in the book of 2 Corinthians 3:17,18 he said, ".... we all with open faces, see in a mirror the glory of the Lord, and we shall be transformed into the same likeness from one glory to another, just as the Spirit comes from the Lord.
With open faces we see in a mirror the glory of the Lord, we can see the spiritual realms; we can see those things that other can't see or discern.

What step we should take and how long the process will take for God to transform our poor body into the likeness of his glorious body?

Read and Meditate in Ephesians 4:22-24 daily: Lay aside all our former practices that is to say the old man which is degenerated with deceitful lusts, and put on the new man, who is created by God in righteousness and true holiness.

Do the following, submit yourselves to the will of God, to his word by crucifying your mortal body with Christ and transformed by the renewing of the mind, in another word, by changing your thinking, from carnal to spiritual thinking that are pleasant to the LORD, thoughts that are just, pure, true, loving, honest, good report, virtue and everything that give praise to God, being born again of incorruptible seed by the word of God (Romans 6:6) and bring forth fruit of the Spirit.
Remember we are to live in the Spirit and surrender to the Spirit until God transformed our poor body into the likeness of his glorious body.

Paul remind us in Roman 8:10,11: "The Spirit who raised Jesus Christ from the dead will also quicken your mortal bodies (It is through the help of the Spirit you will put on immortality)."

Putting on immortality require the Spirit to help you and his help comes after you do the first action of removing out of the way all your carnal desire and all your carnal thinking, and faithfully keep on doing what God tell us to do in his word, that means you don't sin anymore, for it is through the help of Spirit your inward man will do all these things and will succeed in ruling the body.
It is the Spirit that give life, and to think spiritually it is life and peace.

Romans 12:1,2 said, "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, by mean of reasonable service.
And do not imitate the way of this world , but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, that you may discern what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God."

Christian need to follow the instruction of Paul the apostle that is if they want to transformed their poor body into the likeness of his glorious body and spiritually grow up strong in the Lord and in the power of his might.

When Jesus comes, he expect to see his body dress up pure white cloths with no wrinkle and no stain.

Hebrews 9:28 it says, "So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; so that at the second coming he shall appear without our sins for the salvation of those who look for him."
When he return, those sinners who look for him and call upon him, he will appear without their sins for their salvation.
The scripture said, "The Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout and the voice of archangel and with the trumpet of God; and those who are dead in Christ will rise up first; then those who alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the air...." (Hebrew 9:28; 1 Thessalonians 4:16).

But the wicked men and those men who pierce him will see his coming with the clouds [the clouds of Roman's soldiers] and all the kindreds of the earth shall wail over him (Revelation 1:7).
The Roman's soldiers were allow to carry out the wrath of God for a short time.

The bible say:

"And if those days were not shortened, no flesh would live [here is talking about the life of the Jews]; but for the sake of the chosen ones [The Christian Jews] those days will be shortened. Here is talking about the beginning of persecution and after that the great persecution will last for a short time [Matthew 24:21],

Jesus also says, false Christ will come; you will hearing of wars and rumours of wars; nation rise up against nations, kingdom against kingdom, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places; when it come know it is the beginning of sorrow [suffering; Matthew 24:4-8].

Jesus warn them that they will be persecute and put in jail.

In the book of Acts after Jesus died and went back to heaven in the year 30AD after his death the persecution began against the Christians.
The first apostle to die by the hands of the Jews was James the son of Alpheus in the year 35AD.
James the son of Alpheus was stones to death.

The first apostle to be killed by Herod the king was St. James.
St. James and James the son of Alpheus are not the same person, so don't get confuse with both of these persons.
St. James was killed in the year 44AD by the sword (Acts 12:2).
King Herold stretched out his hand to persecute and oppress the people of the church and when he saw that the Jews were happy that this was done, King Herold seized and arrested Apostle Peter and he try to to kill him to please the Jews, but the Lord sent his angel and save Peter (Act 12:4-17).
King Herod was punish by the Lord and God's angel struck him and he was eaten by worms and died (Acts 12:21-24).

Christians were brought before councils and before rulers and kings (see the book of Acts chapters 4,6,16,18,24,25).
The reason of the persecution because they hated them for preaching the gospel and speaking about the name of Jesus.

In the beginning of sorrow the high priest laid hands on the apostles and arrested him and bound them in prison, but the angel of the Lord open the door of the prison and brought them out from prison, and later the priest saw them and came to them and threaten them not speak the name of Jesus, but the apostles did not listen to them and they continue to preach the gospel (Acts 5:17-35).
Peter and John was put in jail by the priest and Sadducees for preaching the name of Jesus in the year 30AD and 34AD.

Then later they put some of apostles and Christians in jail, the first converted won by the apostle was killed by the Jews was Stephen.
Stephen was murdered around or before 37AD, he was stones to death (Acts 7:59-60).

After the first martyr the great persecution [severe persecution] against the church begun, see chapter 8:1.
Remember the severe persecution was against the Christians by the Jews and not by the Roman.
The scripture says, And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Ju-dae'a and Samaria, except apostles.

Perhaps between the beginning of the persecution to the great persecution [between 30 AD to 63 AD] John was at Patmos and there he heard and saw and wrote the book of Revelation and return back to warn the seven angels of the seven churches before they enter into the great tribulation.

After 66 AD the Jews who did not acknowledge the Lord Jesus is the Messiah and the Son of God, who die and rose from the dead stood behind and enter into the great tribulation.
Again the beginning of great persecution included Paul making havock of the church, entering into every house, and bailing men and women committed them to prison.
Paul has a letter giving to him the power by the high priest to bound men and women bring them to Jerusalem, but again this persecution was a persecution by the high priest.

The word Persecution used in Acts 11:19 is the Greek word "thlipsis" which means "Tribulation" in both Matthew 24:21-29 and Revelation 7:14.
Act 8;1 is plainly clear speak about the great tribulation that had begun against the church by the religion leader and not by Nero [Acts 9:1,2].
This great persecution was the beginning of suffering.

The beginning of suffering was done by the Jews leaders is not the same as great tribulation done by the Roman soldiers.
Great tribulation by Roman soldiers, is known as the worst pain ever than the beginning of suffering.

Saul of Tarsu was converted in the year 37AD and his convert result Jewish persecution too.

When Saul and Barnabas came to Perga, a city in Pamphylia, there Jews incite the chief men of the city and the rich women who worship God with them, so that they stirred up a persecution against Paul and Barnabas and expelled them beyond their borders and the disciples left the city and went to the city of Iconium (Acts 13:12,50,51).

In the city of Iconium, Paul and Barnabas enter into the synagogue and spoke to a great many of Jews and of the Greek and the Jews who did not listen to them stirred up the Gentiles to oppress the brethren and wanted to disgrace them and have them stoned (Acts 14:2,5).

In the city of Lystra, Paul and Barnabas minister and God heals a cripple man, but because of the men who saw this miracles and thoughts that Paul and Barnabas was God, they began to bring offering sacrifice to them but Paul try to stop them but they did not listen to him.
And there came Jews from the city of Iconium and Antioch and stirred up the people against them and they stoned Paul and dragged him out of the city, supposing him to be dead but Paul rose up and enter again into the city and the next day Paul and Barnabas went to the city of Derbe (Acts 14;6-20).

And when the returned again to the city of Lystra and to Iconium and Antioch he strengthen the soul of the converts and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and telling them that only trough much tribulation can we enter into the Kingdom of God (Acts 13:21-22).

Paul and Silas were seized and beated and brought to the market place; and they brought Paul and Silas before the soldiers and the city magistrates and said, These man are Jews, and they create disturbances in our city and preach customs to us which are not lawful for us to accept and practice, because we are Romans. Paul and Silas was scourge and put to jail (Acts 16:16-23).

The Jews being jealous because the people believe the word of Paul, secured a band men from the street of the city Thessalonica and formed a great mob, who caused disturbances in the city, and who came and assaulted the house of Jason and sought to bring them out from it and deliver them to the mob.
But because they did not find them there, the men dragged out Jason and the brethren who were there and accuse them falsely (Acts 17:3-7).

The Jews stir up and alarm the people against Paul(Acts 17:13)

In the city of Athens Paul was arrested for preaching a new doctrines (Acts 17:16-34)

The Jews opposes and blasphemed as Paul testified that Jesus is the Christ (Acts 18:5).

Jews made insurrection with one accord against Paul in Corinth; and they brought him to the judgment seat to judge him falsely (Acts 18:12).

Paul was seized and accused falsely and beating (Acts 21:27-32).
The Jews made a vow not to eat nor to drink anything until Paul is dead (Acts 23:12)

Paul was brought before Felix the government (Acts 23:24).

Paul was in prison.
Festus succeed Felix the government in the year 54AD.
Paul was brought before Festus and King Agrippa and they heard Paul words (Acts 25:1-27; 26:1-32).

Paul was put in prison and then brought at Caesarea Maritima, possibly in 59AD to pleaded his case; Festus and King Agrippa heard his plead.

Paul by grace and mercy of God he was giving the opportunity to face the Jews but they did not listed to him and Paul depart and rented a house for himself for two years and preached the kingdom of God to those who came to him (Acts 28:1-31).

All of these persecution happen to Paul and to the Christians who believe in the name of Jesus and they all suffer for the sake of Christ Jesus.
Paul wrote, we glory in tribulation because tribulation perfect patience in us (Romans 5:3).

Paul wrote to the church that we are distressed in every ways but not overwhelmed; we are harassed on all sides, but not conquered; persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; ...(2 Corinthians 4:8).

Paul also wrote to the church that it has been given to you to believe in Christ and to suffer for his sake. And that you may endure such trials as those which you have seen me in and such as you now hear that I am in (Philippians 1:29-30).

Paul writing to the church he said, ...you also have suffered from your own tribe, even as they have suffered from the Jews, who both killed the Lord Jesus Christ and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they do not please God and are against all men, forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they might be saved, adding this to their sins always; but the wrath of God is upon them to the uttermost (1 Thessalonians 2:14-16).

Here Paul continue stated their persecution and all their suffering is brought by their own tribes, the Jews, and not by Nero.

Paul send Timothy to Thessalonians to ministry the church because he could not come to them because of the obstacles he was having and he told them not to be dishearten by these tribulations for they know that this is our destiny and to remember what he told them when he was with them that we should suffer tribulation, even as it has come to pass, and as you know (1 Thessalonians 3:1-4).

Paul was comforted by the brethren, in the midst of all their distress and tribulations because of the brethren faith. And they can live happily, if the brethren stand firm in the Lord (1 Thessalonians 3:7,8).

Paul mentioned to the church of Thessalonians that God will bring tribulation to those who oppress the church and Paul boast of the church over their faith and patience in all persecutions and tribulations that the church endure because they are worthy of God kingdom for which they also suffer (2 Thessalonians 1:4-10).

Paul writing to Timothy he said to him that because of righteousness and truth and life they both toil and suffer reproach, they both trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, especially of those who believe (1 Timothy 4:8-10).

Paul said, because of him, he suffer hardships (2 Timothy 2:9).

Paul was persecuted and suffer at Antioch and at Iconium and at Lystra but the Lord delivered him. And he express that those who wish to live a godly life in Jesus Christ shall suffer persecution (2 Timothy 3:11,12).

Paul told the church to be awake to all things, endure hardship, do the work of the a preacher, and fulfil your ministry (2 Timothy 4:5).

Peter wrote to the church, if you suffer for righteousness sake, you are blessed; and be not afraid of those who terrify you, neither be troubled (1 Peter 3;14).

Peter said to the church of his time that they are partaker of Christ's suffering and if any christian suffer let him be not ashamed, but to glorify God through that very name; and to those who suffer according to the will of God commit their soul to him in well doing as to a faithful Creator (1 Peter 4:13,16,19).

Therefore all of those chapters and verses proof that the apostles of God and Christians of those days suffered trials and persecution and tribulation for Christ's sakes by their own religion leader, the High priest.

But before the end come, Jesus had mentioned to them your enemy will deliver you up to the councils and in the synagogues and they will beat you and bring you before rulers and kings for his name's sake, for a testimony against them.

Paul, Peter, James, Jude and John were brother and companion in suffering and in the hope of Jesus Christ and because of the word of God and because of the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Paul and Peter and John was persecuted in the beginning by the Jew leaders, but in the year 64AD, Nero put Paul and Peter in prison, that was called great suffering by Nero and later on Nero, has both of them be put to death.

People said, that Peter and Paul was killed around AD66 and other said the last Apostle died in 67AD or 68 AD, but we are not sure of these date.
From the very beginning of persecution by Nero, up to the death of the last apostle, the word of John to the church came to passed, when he wrote to the angels of the seven churches saying, "I saw under the altar the souls of them who had been slain for the sake of the word of God and for the testimony of the Lamb which they had .... And a white robe was given to every one of them and it was said to them that they should rest yet for a little while until the time should be fulfilled when the fellow servants and their brethren should be killed also as they had been" (Revelation 6:9-11).

According to Philip Schuff who wrote the History of the Christians Church, he stated, during the reign of Nero, from 64AD to 68AD, it brought untold persecution upon the Christians.

And Jesus said those who suffer in those days and endure unto the end, the same shall be saved (Matthew 24:13).

According to History in those days, Nero blame falsely the Christians of setting a great fire in Rome that lasted for six days which three districts were completely destroyed.
But the war did not happen yet, not until two years later, in the year AD66.
The Roman cruelty against the Jews provoked them to pick up weapon against them.
John at the Isle of Patmos, saw these things and he wrote about it before the year 64AD to the angels of the seven churches to be alert and watchful at all time because great tribulation and his coming is at hand.

People have problem accepted the date when the book of Revelation was written, it was written before the year 64AD.
John wrote the book of Revelation at the time when Paul and Peter and the church was going through the same trials and persecution or tribulation.
People don't want to hear the true, but they like to change and add to the word of God and teach a false gospel.

If Jesus Christ coming was to take place thousands of years later, Jesus would have told Peter in the beginning.
If the present generation will not see his coming then why would the Lord waste his time telling Peter and all his disciples to pray and watch, to be alert for they would not know at what hour the Lord will come; if his coming will take place thousands of years later, if this was the case why would they be concern about his coming?

You know why they were to pray and watch, and be alert for his coming because Christ's warning was for them, his present generation will see him coming.
If Jesus was talking about future generation he would have said: don't worry nor be concern for my coming, for it will take place in the future.
But no, he did not says that, he said, his coming will be in the hour you know not.

In the first book of John 2:18, he speak, it is the last time, ...and there are many false Christs and from this we know that it is the last time.
In the second book of John 7, he said, for many deceivers have appeared in the world, who do not acknowledge that Jesus Christ has comes in the flesh. Such a person is a deceiver and an antichrist.

All of those chapters and verses above, proof "false Christ" or "antichrist" have appear when John wrote those books and John express because of these we are in the last time, that is before the destruction of Jerusalem in 70AD.
John and Paul and Peter and Jude and James spoke about deceivers or false brethren or false prophet or false Christs or antichrist that are in the world.
John did not says they are going to be in the world, no, John said, they are in the world, right now, in this instance.
To reject this truth is to reject the word of Jesus, "this generation will not pass away until all of these things be fulfilled" and you are calling him a liar.

Jesus told his disciple in those day after the suffering the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light.
The stars of the heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken (Mark 13:24,25).

These symbolic expression means, suffering, pain, and destruction will come upon them.

Those days were the beginning of suffering but not the end.
But after the suffering of those days, great tribulation begin, disaster and pain and blood and death and destruction came upon them, and at that end they will see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.

After the suffering of the Apostles and of the Christians, the war began in 66AD, and they knew at that moment the end was at hand.
Jesus prediction was when you see the Roman's soldiers surrounded the City of Jerusalem, then you will know destruction is at hand for the unbelievers, for these are the days of vengeance, so that everything which is written must be fulfilled; for those with child in those days, they will have great distress in the land, and wrath to this people."
And they will fall by the sword, and they will be taken captive to every country. ... (Luke 21:19-24).

History also tell us that not even one Christians perished during the final siege and destruction of Jerusalem.
When Titus the Roman general finally came into the City of Jerusalem, he did not found a single Christians there.
They all fled the City upon the instruction of Jesus Christ after they saw the city surrounded by Roman's armies the first time.

For those Christian who were worthy by watching and praying at all time they saw salvation, and came out of great tribulation and stand before the Son of man (Luke 21:27,36).

These people who escape are the multitude of people that John saw and wrote about in the book of Revelation and they came out of great tribulation and have wash their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb (Revelation 7:9-14).

The scripture says, the Roman's soldiers will fulfilled their mission of trodden under their feet Jerusalem, for the Gentile are vessels of vengeance who God use to execute his wrath to the children of disobedience, after they finish doing their Job, History has record the Roman soldiers returned back to Rome; and the Christians who were in the mountain were able to come out without any fear of being harm.
[Josephus, wars of the Jews, #2, chapters 15-19; Ibid, 19:5-8; Clarkes Commentary, Vol. 1, Matthews Acts, p.228; Josephus, Wars of the Jews, Bk. #3, 1:1-3; #4, 9-11; Psalms 34:7; 91:10-12].

Who were the people who heard Jesus warning to watch therefore, and to pray always, that they may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man?

The people who heard Jesus Christ's warning were all Jews, not even one Gentile was present with him when he spoke about those things that would happen to them or about to happen to that nation or about to happen to that race or about to happen to that generation.
He told his disciples in his time to be watchful and pray at all time.

In Matthew 24:34:

34. He says, Truly, I say to you that this race (he is referring the Jews' race) will not pass away until all these things happen.

In Mark 13:30:

He says, Truly, I say to you that this nation will not pass away until these things happen.

In Luke 21:31-32,33-38:

In Luke 21:1-17 Jesus also said, " you will hear of wars and revolution; nation will rise up against nation and kingdom against kingdom; great earthquakes in different places; and famines and plagues; and alarming sights, and great signs will appear from heaven, and the winters will be severe."

Did all these happen?
Yes it did happen.

The disciples because of the sake of the gospel and because of the sake of Christ Jesus, they suffered a lot.

John and Paul teach also that there were false teachers and false Christ in those days that teaches error and doctrine of the devils.
In those times there were false Christ and many Christians fell in their trap.
According to Josephus in his book an impostor name Theudas persuaded a great multitude to follow him; Felix put to death a lot of them.

An Egyptian rose up saying, he was a prophet and he lies 30,000 men.

Another man by the name of Simon who was a sorcerer led many people to think he was a God (see in Acts verse 8).

Another man name Jerome was claiming to be the Word of God.

Justin was acclaim as a god by his magical powers.
There were many other deceivers in those times.

Jesus mentioned that they will hear of wars and rumours of wars, and nation rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and earthquakes and famines and trouble.

There were wars and rumours of wars.
Before the destruction of Jerusalem within the space of 18 months, four Emperors came to violent deaths.

Nero with a digger cut the throat of Suetonius.

Galba was run down by horsemen and many other things happen that fate the falling on the Emperors.

Among the Jews, 50,000 were killed in Seleucia.

In Alexandria many rise up against them.

In the battle between the Jews and Syrians in Caesarea 20,000 were killed.

The Jews also rebel against Caligula because he ordered his statue place in the temple at Jerusalem and they were killed too.
There were wars and rumours of wars in various places in those times.

Josephus stated that there were famines throughout all the world.
In the day of Claudius Caesar there were famine (see Acts 11:28).

Judea was hit hard by famine too.
This is why Paul collected donation from saint to help the poor people (1 Corinthians 16:1-5; Roman 15:25-28).

Because there was insufficient food in Rome in the days of Nero it died no less than 30,000 people.

The pestilence rage in Babylonia in AD 40.

And the pestilence rage also in Italy AD 66.
Pestilence was everywhere.

There were earthquake in many places.

After Jesus Christ was crucified on a Friday, on Sunday around midday there was a great earthquake.

Around the year AD61 the city of Leodiceans, Pergamum, and collosse was destroyed by an earthquake

Around AD62 and AD63 the city of Pompeii and Herculaneun were severely damaged by earthquake.

In AD68, a sudden eruption of the sea inundated Lycia, a part city in turkey.

In Acts 16:25-27, speak about an earthquake that the foundation of the prison were shaken and all the prison doors were open.

There were also false prophet in those days that were deceiving many people and Paul mentions some of them as deceitful workers (2 Corinthians 11:13).

He also mentions Hymenaeus and Philetus who taught false doctrines and miss lead some (2 Timothy 2:17,18).

Paul letter to Titus he tells him that there were deceivers teaching things they ought not (Titus 1:10,11).

The gospel of the kingdom was preached to all the nations.
It all started in the day of Pentecost they went out preaching the gospel of the kingdom and won many soul (Acts 2:5).
Then the believers were scattered and went everywhere preaching the word throughout the region of Judea and Samaria (Acts 8:1,4-8,26-40).

Peter brought the gospel of the kingdom to Cornelius (Acts 8:10,11).

In the time of Neros reign the Christians grown so much that they aroused the jealousy of the government.

Christians was blame falsely of being responsible of setting a great fire in Rome in 64 AD.

Paul said that the believer faith is spoken throughout the whole world (Roman 1:8).

He also said the gospel of the kingdom is known to all nations for the obedience of faith (Roman 16:26).

Paul wrote also to the church of Colossians saying, The gospel is come on you, as it is in all the world (Colossians 1:6).

And verse 23 he says, the gospel which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven.
So there you see how the gospel of the kingdom was preached around the world.

Even thus Jesus told them this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached throughout the world as a testimony to all the nations and then the end will come, still his disciples were also told that they shall not finish converting all the cities of the house of Israel, until the Son of man return (Matthew 10:23; 24:14).

The apostles preached the gospel of the kingdom throughout the world, but did not convert all the cities of the house of Israel, not until the Son of man came, in another word until they saw the sign of the Son of man appearing in the sky; and the Son of man coming on the cloud of the sky with power and great glory(Matthew 24:30).
When this happen then all the cities of the house of Israel will get converted.

When the bible says, "shall not finish converting all the cities of the house of Israel", here is not talking about that all the Jews will be converting before he come, but all the cities of the house of Israel who has not been converted will be converting when the Son of man come, but we know that many of them who refuse to believe the Lord Jesus Christ as the Messiah did not escape the wrath of God.

Paul make it very clearly; "For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel: Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed [Romans 9:6-8].

Jesus says, Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ [Galatians 3:16].

Again, the promise was giving to Abraham and Jesus and not to a literal children of Isreal.

For Jesus says to the Jews in his time that were listened to him:
I know that ye are Abraham's seed [here Jesus knew they were literal Abraham's seed}; but ye seek to kill me , because my word hath no place in you. I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father. They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham.

Jesus acknowledge they were Literal Abraham's seed but he still he did not recognize them as Abraham's children because they were not doing the works of Abraham. Jesus says if God were your father you would have love me and believe in me because I proceeded forth and came from God; but because there was no room for his word Jesus says to them, Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Jesus made it clear that a true Abraham's children are they who believe and have room for his word and does the same works that Abraham has done.
Paul also said, Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham... And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise [Galatians 3:7,29].

Paul continue saying, "For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God [Romans 2:28-29}.

John wrote: Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son .
Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father; the one who confesses the Son has the Father also {1John 2:22,23]
John continue: He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God ... He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him [John 3:18,36].

We all know that "Christ" means "Messiah" and anyone who denied Jesus is the Messiah does not have the Father and is condemned already for not believe in the Son of God and the wrath of God abideth on him, but he who believe that Jesus is the Messiah have both the Son and the Father and everlasting life.

According to the above chapters and verses, all of those who will be converted are all of those who will be saved in the house of Israel, these people are the one who are called the chosen one, the believers who has room for Christ's word and does the works of Abraham, who have both the Son and Father and everlasting life but all other who don't believe and confess that Jesus is not the Christ or the Messiah are not Abraham's children, they are not Israel or Jews but are children of the devil, who are condemned and God's wrath is upon them, for their destruction.

The Roman's soldiers in those days were allow to carry out the wrath of God for a short time and if it wasn't because those days were shortened, no flesh would have live, but for the sake of the chosen ones [the christian Jews, all Israel] those days will be shortened so they will be saved.

Here again is talking about after the beginning of persecution come to an end then the great persecution will begin and many will parish by the sword, and when the time of the Gentiles be fulfilled because those days will be shortened, then the Christian Jews, the chosen ones [all Israel] who has acceptance the Lord Jesus Christ, their life will not be lost but will be saved [Matthew 24:21].
All Israel who has been wash by the blood of the Lamb will be saved.
For the scripture says, "And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins" [Luke 21:24; Matthew 24:21; Romans 11:26].

What part of the world did the disciples went to preach the gospel to all creatures?

In those days there was no such things as South and Center and North America neither the Caribbean Islands existing on their map.
The people of that generation the only world that existed in their days and knew about was the world where they were abiding in or living in it, a world where they share and exchange things and associate with one another.
And the apostles preaches the gospel of the kingdom to the world which they knew about, a world they were aware of that exited in their map.

All of these chapters and verses speak of the day of the Lord that will soon happen to their present generation, the kingdom of God shall be preached to all the world they knew about back them.

It does not said that they were to preach the kingdom of God to a future generations or a future new world which they never heard about neither have any idea of it existing, the New World was not discover or found yet.

The world we know now did not exist in their map back then, neither there were a way to know that across the Ocean exist another world.

The world we know now, "North, South and Center American and the Caribbean Islands did not exist in their map not until thousand of years later. In 1451, Christopher Columbus was born and on his early 40's, he led his three ships - the Nina, the Pinta and the Santa Maria - out of the Spanish port of Palos on August 3, 1492 and after a long journey he discover or found the New World which he and the people of the Old World never new about it existing neither in any map they knew about.

Therefore Jesus Christ was talking about preaching to all the world where all the Jews were actually living in his time starting from Jerusalem as far as the map of their present generation will show them.
There were no Jews living across the ocean sea of North, Center, and South America neither in any Caribbean Islands before 33AD.

Some people said, well there is prove of evidence that Hebrews people came to North America before Christopher Columbus found it and before Jesus Christ die on the cross.

There is not enough archaeological and historical evidence to support the statement for more information about this CLICK HERE.

If Hebrews people were living across the Atlantic Ocean wouldn't Jesus and his father who have made the heaven and earth and together establishing them, would have not know about them and told his disciples?

There is no record in Jesus' time nor even in Christopher Columbus' time of any Hebrew people living in the other part of the New World.

In the year 1492, the Spaniard in those days, didn't known about the New World and for sure if Queen of Spain would have known about the New World you bet she would have not supported Christopher Columbus in his voyage, but would have sent soldiers to overpower them and possess all the gold.
No brother, the King and Queen of Spain did not knew about the New World.

The only reason Columbus ask support for an Atlantic crossing because he believe that he could discover a western sea route to Asia.

Well, how it happen, in the year 1484 Columbus began seeking support in Portugal, England and France, for an Atlantic crossing, the response was the same no, they denied aid.

By 1486 Columbus was in Spain, there in Spain he asks for support from King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella . After two rejection, at last he obtained the support he needing in January 1492.

This is why when he found Puerto Rico and saw the Taino, his first thoughts was he has reached Asia.

On October 12, 1492, Columbus travel to find a short route to Asia, a total of four sails, he sail into the Atlantic Ocean and found four Caribbean Islands and at the end of his voyages he thoughts that he has reached in his overland travel to China at the end of the 13th century.

This prove Christopher Columbus and his crews did not have any clue where they were and what they have found, a new world.

I'm am sure in the time of Jesus Christ and before Christ, the Roman's leaders, Cesar, did not knew about the new world either, if they would have known about the people that live across the Atlantic Ocean we would have know about them and have record of them, moreover if Cesar would have knew about the gold in the Caribbeans Island and in Mexico, for sure he would have sent soldiers and force them to works and dig out gold and kill them if they refuse to obey just like the Spaniard did with the Taino in Puerto Rico they would have kill them too, for in those days Cesar greater power was to conquer all the world.
The Roman's people also love power and gold, for sure they would have travel that far, risking their life just for the gold even if gaining the gold means to kill all of them, they would have done it.

Read the history book what happen to all the Indians in the Caribbean, especially the Tainos in Puerto Rico how they turn them to slave and at the end they slaughter all the male but their women and their daughter were taken for their pleasure; the gold they took out of land with the sweat and hard work of the Taino and with the blood of many of them, was brought to Spain.

In those days this is what the people use to believe that the sea was flat; they believe when a person sail across the sea, at the end when ships reach at the edge of the sea, there they will meet a fall and the ships that goes down the fall will disappear forever.
People in those day believe these falling story tale except in finding a New World with gold, that is the least thing they have in their mind to find gold.

It is evidence that Jesus was referring to his generation (to the Jews of his time) and not to us now.
Any scholar knows that a generation is not thousands of years, but according to the scripture in the book of Genesis 15:13-16, God says to Abraham, a generation is 100 years; lets cover more what Jesus said to his disciple.

Jesus says to his disciples, "this generation will not pass until all of these things be fulfilled or come to passed."

Remember Jesus was talking about his present generation, the present people who were living in his time.
Those who heard Jesus and saw Jesus die on the cross were the generation or the people who will see all of these things come to pass.

From the time that Jesus spoke those words in the year AD30 up to the fulfillment of his words in the year AD70, it estimated a total of 40 years.

The People who was standing there listening to Jesus words, ages 20 years old and older, if you add 40 years to 20 years old, it will give you an approximately ages of 60 years and over.
But does a generation really means an approximately 60 years?
I don't think so, let continue searching for the answer.

Did Jesus said this generation will end in 70AD?
No, because no one knew the time nor the day when he will come.
Jesus was just warning his people, that destruction is going to happen before this generation pass away, but he did not necessary said, "this generation" will end in AD70, only the Father from heaven know the day and the hours.
This is something for you to think about.

Some scholars might said, a generation is 40 years.
They said, since the day when Jesus spoke those words to the day when the Roman soldiers surrounded and destroy the city of Jerusalem estimate a total of 40 years and they back it up with Psalms 95:10 and Hebrews 3:8-10; which says, "Forty years long was I grieved with that generation ....."
According to all these verses scholar affirm a generation is a life time of 40 years on earth.
But that is not what this verse said, the scripture said, "that generation" and it has nothing to do with life time living on earth, but a race of people.
Jesus was never talking about "a generation" which is a life time living on earth, but "this generation" a race of people.

There are other that says, a generation is a life time living on earth of 70 to 80 according to the book of Psalms, it says the years of men lives is three score and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, ....(Psalm 90:10).
They believe a child has a life time to live on earth about 70 to 80 years.

There are other who said, according to the scripture in Genesis 15:1-16, a generation is 100 years .

Lets begin reading Psalms 95:10, it says, "Forty years was I grieved with that generation and said, it is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways. ...."

If you look again this verse you will notice something, God says, "forty years was I grieved with that generation."

"Forty years was I grieved with that generation."
That generation starting grieving the Lord 40 years ago, but before they stating to grieve the Lord 40 years ago, God did not have any problem with that nation or with that people or with that generation.
Before the forty years, that nation pleased the Lord.
Do you think God was saying that generation started forty years ago?
No, brother, I don't think so and for sure many of them before they grieve the Lord their ages were from 20 years and over.
If this is true then that generation is people of different ages.
If you add each individual ages and 40 years of grieving God it will give you different ages started from 60 years and over, a life time on earth.
Therefore David did not said "that generation" is 40 years, but that generation is people of different ages.
This is something for you to think about.

Again, when Jesus was with his disciples, they heard Jesus saying, "this generation will not pass until all of these things be fulfilled".

For sure the majority of his disciples were over 25 years of age, when he spoke those words to them in the year AD30; for Jesus himself was 33 years old when he spoke those words to his disciples.
Jesus spoke to a people of the Old Testament, because the New Testament was not written yet because Christ has not die on the cross and shed his blood.
Even thus the books of Matthews, Mark, Luke, and John have been adding together in the New testament, the words that Jesus spoke to the people and to his disciples were for that generation who were living under law.
For sure the majority of the people who heard Jesus' words were people over 30 years age.
If you add the ages of those men at the time when Jesus spoke those words to the times the Romans' soldiers destroy the city of Jerusalem it will add up a total age of 70 years and over.
Therefore, a generation is a life time that God allow men to live on earth, but this generation is a race of people.

Now lets read the book of Genesis 15:13-16; it said, And the Lord said to Abram, know of a surety that your descendants shall be strangers in a land that is not theirs, and shall be in servitude: and they shall afflict them for four hundred years; but I will judge the nation which they shall serve; and afterward they shall come out with great wealth.
And you shall depart from this life and go to your father in peace; and you shall be buried at a good old age.
And after four generations, they shall return here; for the iniquities of the Amorites are not yet full.

Here shows that the people will be in servitude and a strangers in a land that is not theirs, and they will be afflict by them for four hundred years, and after four generations, they shall return to the place God has shown Abram.
Four hundred years of servitude divide by four generations is a total of 100 years.
Therefore according to this scripture the Lord God said, a generation is 100 years.
This is the truth life time living on earth according to the scripture.

Lets look again in the Old Testament in the book of Isaiah 65:17-20.
Lets read, For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; and the former things shall not be remembered nor come into mind.
But my people shall be glad and rejoice for ever because I am creating; for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and I will rejoice in it.
And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people; and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of wailing.
There shall be no more in her a child who dies in infancy nor an old man who has not filled his days; for the child shall die a hundred years old; but a sinner being a hundred years old shall be accursed.

Again here shows that 100 years is the life time God allow men to live on earth.
Does not this verse tell us that those people who heard Jesus that night might have live 100 years of age? How about those who escape the wrath of God to the mountain, for sure they die an old age too.
And if this is truth then the people in those days got to live a life time on earth to see his coming.
I believe Jesus word " this generation" was referring to the present people in his time who the Father of heaven will allow them to see the sign of the son of man.

Don't we said to our friend and family, we are the last generation to be around.
Or we are the last generation who was in Vienna war.
Or we are the last generation of the 1900.
When our grand mom die at an age of 100 years we say, she was the last generation who got to live that long on earth?

According to all these scriptures, it proof that a generation has to be the life time God allow men to life on earth and we all know the total of life time for men to live on earth is 100 years.
But God promise to his people that a child or an elder will die an old age, they will fulfill their days, they will die a hundred years of age, and a hundred years shall be a blessing to them (Isaiah 65:20).
God was the one who said those words to Isaiah and to Abram, that a generation is a hundred years. (see it for yourselves in the book of Genesis 15:13-16).

Here are more thoughts about this topic:

Open the book of Number 32, and lets look at verse 13, it says: ".. and he made them (the people) wander in the wilderness forty years, until all the generation, that had done evil in the sight of the Lord, was consumed."

Look again at this verse, it says, "He made all the generation", this words means "all the people."
All the people that had done evil will wander in the wilderness forty years, until all of them are consumed.

Here "all the generation" means "all the people", and for sure all of those people before they sinned and before they wander in the wilderness for 40 years, walked with Moses from the very beginning, perhaps their age probably started from 20 up to 40 years old.

Therefore all the people from different ages were the generation who had sin before the Lord.
This does not actually means a generation is 40 years as some believe it is.
Again the Lord was not saying "all the generation" mean "40 years", no, but all the people of different ages.
God made them (the people) wander in the wilderness forty years, until All of the people of different ages that had done evil in the sight of the Lord for 40 years, was consumed.

Open the book of Acts 13 and lets look at verse 36, it says:
For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption:
Look where it said, "he had serve his own generation", it does not says, he had serve for a generation, no, no, no, it says, he had serve his own generation.

Here David had serve his own people by the will of God, until he die a good old age and Solomon his son reigned in his stead.

You have to ask yourselves a question, if you were a king, who do you serve, your own people or your own life?
The people is the one whom you serve and not your own life as king of Israel.

David life as a king reign it serving all the people of Israel.
From the very beginning up to the day he die he serve the Israel, he serve his own generation (his own people).
Therefore David, after he had served his own generation (his own people) for forty years by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption: (see also 1 Chronicles 29:26,27; and 1 Kings 2:11).
He serve his own generation does that means he serve for 40 years?
No brother, it means he serve his own people for 40 years.

Open the book of Job 42 and lets look at verse 16 and 17 it says:
After this lived Job an hundred and forty years, and saw his sons, and his sons' sons, even the four generations.
So Job died, being old and full of days.

Looks here where it says, "and saw his sons, and his sons' sons, even the four generations.

Four generations is consider to be his sons, and his sons' sons and more sons after his sons' sons.

This scripture does not says four generations is 140 years, I don't think so.
Don't come up with numbers where there was none; who know if Job saw his four generation when he was a hundred years old; or who know if he saw his four generation when he was a hundred and ten years old; or perhaps when he was a hundred and twenty years old; we just don't know neither do you, so don't comes with numbers that is not giving in the book of Job 42:16,17.

A parent race his own children until they become mature and be independent and have a family of their own, their own children is called "second generation", and their children's children is called the third generation, and so on forth.

A generation is not 35 years [140 years / 4 generations = 35 years], because if you believe this, then you are saying that Job had his first child when he was 35 years of age, and his son first child at the age of 35 years too, and so on, and to believe this is not biblical and out of line of the word of God.

Therefore, "four generations" are your children and your children's children and so on, should not be confuse with "a generation" which is a life time living on earth, because they are not the same things here.
"Four generation" does not means that every children's children was born every 35 years, neither does it mean a generation is 35 years [Job 42:16,17].

In the Number14:29, the people who die in that generation were people of different ages.

P.S. Number 14:29, has nothing to do with Number 1:3.

Number 1:3 speak about those who are able to go forth to war in Israel; and Number 14:29, speak about those who will die in the wilderness for doubting and murmuring.

In Number 1:3 those who were able to go to war were from age 20 years and over, but those who were sick and weak physically were not allow to go to war.
In Number 14:29, those who has sin against God, they where people of 20 years old age and over, and they all die in the wilderness.

Now to said that a generation begin at age 20 years old and over is not biblical either.
For sure the people of Israel who sin many of them were younger, and each year as they reach their 20 years birthday and doubted and murmured against God they were added to the list to die in the wilderness with the rest from ages who knows what, to the ages 60 years old or over; and if you actually believe that a life time for men to live on earth is a total of 40 years then your calculation will always be questionable.
Again how I know this is true, well if you calculate 20 years of age and over plus 40 years in the wilderness it will give you 60 years of age and over.

Both Number 1:3, and Number 14:29, speak of men of 20 years of age and over, but none of the verses mentioned above can prove that a generation is 40 years.

Leviticus 27:1-3, it also speak about those who make a vow will be consider as estimate, starting from age 20 up to sixty years old.
It seem there were no men who reach their 61 birthday?
Could people on those days reached an age of 61?

I believe they did reached an age of 61 and over but for you to said, subtract 20 years of age from 60 years of age; or add a 20 years of age to 40 years it will give you a generation, it is wrong calculation, or else this calculation needs to be proved, because a generation is 100 years according to Genesis 15:13-16 and Isaiah 65:17-20.

Lets stop here and return to the Day Of The Lord.

Matthew 24:37: But as the days of Noah, so shall also be the coming of the Son of man be.
Verse 38: For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark,
Verse 39: And knew not until the flood came and took them all away, so shall also be the coming of the Son of man be.
Verse 40: Then shall two be in the field, the one shall be taken, and the other left.
Verse 41: Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
Verse 42: Watch therefore for we know not what hour your Lord doth come.

Luke 17:28: Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, the planted, they builded;
Verse 29: But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
Verse 30: Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
Verse 34: I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed, the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.
Verse 35: Two women shall be grinding together, the one shall be taken, and the other left.
Verse 36: Two men shall be in the field, the one shall be taken, and the other left.
Verse 37: And they [disciples] answered and said unto him [Jesus], Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.

Both of the book of Matthew and Luke speak about the day of the Lord is the same as the days of Lot and Noah. and both book the verses speak the people who was kill they were the one who was taken.

Matthew 39 says the flood came and TOOK them all away.
In verse 40 stated one shall be taken.
In verse 41 one shall be taken.
The word taken it refer to one who will be kill. In the days of Noah the flood took them all away and kill them all. To be taken is one who will be kill.

Look in Luke 17:28-29 in the days of Lot after him and his family came out of Sodom it rain fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all.
Verse 34: One man in bed shall be taken.
Verse 35: one woman grinding shall be taken.
Verse 36: One man in the field shall be taken.
And in verse 37 it shows where they were taken: .... Wheresoever the body is, thither will be eagles be gathered together.
In another word, where the body is will be food for the eagles.
Therefore taken has nothing to do with rapture flying to heaven, but body of people being slaughter by the Romans soldiers and where the body is it will be food for the eagles.
It is a day of suffering and destruction to the unbelievers, but salvation to the believers.

Zephaniah spoke of the day of the Lord and he said the following:(Zephaniah 1:14-18)

The day of the Lord is a great day that is near, it is very near, and hastens fast, even the voice of the day of the Lord; yea, it is bitter, harsh, and severe.

The day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of confusions and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness.
A day of the trumpet and shouting against the fenced cities and against the high towers.
And the Lord will bring distress upon men, that they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the Lord; and their blood shall be poured out like dust, and their flesh like dung.
Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the Lord's wrath; but the whole land shall be consumed in the fire of his indignation against all the inhabitant of the earth.

The day of the Lord is a day of vengeance and destruction for the wicked people but also is a day of deliverance and salvation for the people of God who has been wash by the blood of the Lamb.

Jesus call that day, the day of the Son of man.
It is just like the day of Noah, and the day of Lot.
In the beginning of creation when the people was multiplying on the face of the earth and God saw the wicked of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was evil continually.
And the Lord was sorry that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him in his heart.
So the Lord said, I will destroy men whom I have created from the face of the earth; both men and animals, and the creeping things, and the fowls of the air; I am sorry that I have made them.

God chose Noah a just man and innocent in his day to make an ark of gopher wood for him and his family.
God spoke to Noah and he told him to take his family into the ark, and Noah and his family went in the ark then the Lord close the door of the ark, and kept Noah and his family safe from the flood, but the wicked people the flood destroy them (Luke 17:26-29).

It is just like the day of Lot, God sends his angels to Lot and they brought Lot and his family out of the city, while Lot and his family was fleeing away, the angels of the Lord destroy all the wicked people who inhabit in the city of Sodom and Gomorrah.
The flood and the rain of fire and sulphur that destroyed the wicked people happen in that same day and never happen thousand of years later; after Noah entered into the ark and Lot left the city of Sodom and Gomorrah the wicked people was killed and that day was called the day of the Lord.

The Lord destroyed the city of Sodom and Gomorrah and Noah's generation.
The wrath of God came upon those people who live in Sodom and Gomorrah and never outside of that city.
Sodom and Gomorrah were the only city that were destroyed, they were the only people that anger God to move against them and the Lord execute justice against them.

All of those days are compared as the coming of the Son of man.

Jesus will sent his angels to gather together the Christians and help them escape safely to the mountain while the other angels gather together the wicked people and delivery them into the hands of the Romans soldier for their destruction so God can execute his wrath against them.
His angels are sent to separate the just from the wicked.
The wicked are pick up and throw into the fire and the righteous are gathered together to the kingdom of God, to the marriage's feast, to a safe place where there is joy, peace, and righteousness in the Holy Ghost.

Remember the Christians are the bride of Christ, preparing for the bridegroom, at the second coming.
The second coming of the Lord, the bridegroom will arrive and will deliver his people from the wrath of God.
That day was called the day of the Lord, and all the wicked people and all the believers saw the day of the Lord come to pass in AD70 (Matthews 24:30,31).

In Hebrews 9:28, it says: So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; so that at his second coming he shall appear without our sins for the salvation of those who look for him.
The Son of man came on the cloud in the sky without their sins, for the salvation of the souls.

It happens just the way the bible says it will happen, sudden.

After all the Christians Jews fled to the mountain, then God allow Titus to come with his 4 legions of soldiers to destroy the city of Jerusalem and its temple, and slain the wicked people, ten thousand were the number of them that were caught and slain according to Josephus.

Paul's letter to the church of Thessalonians he said to them, those who are asleep in Jesus, God will bring with him.
For he shall descend from heaven and with a shout, and with a voice of archangel, and with the trumpet of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first.
Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet our Lord in the air ... (1 Thessalonians 4:13,14).

Jude's letter said, the Lord comes with ten thousands of his saints, to execute judgment upon all, and to punish all who are ungodly for all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in an ungodly manner, and for all the hash words which the ungodly sinners have spoken (Jude 14,15).

Now according to Jesus, Paul and Jude the day of the Lord, the angels and all the saints who are with the Lord will come with him.
And God's angels will come and gather his chosen one from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
While his saints will comes with him to execute judgment upon all the wicked people.
The wrath or judgment that they will bring against the wicked people are Roman's soldier surrounded Jerusalem to destroy all of them.

When Jesus Christ was with them he told them that they would not know the hours nor the day when all of these things will take place, only his Father from heaven knows.

Jesus was right, they did not know the hours neither the day, but when that day came they saw it from the very beginning of suffering to the end.

John, Paul, James, Peter and Jude warning to the churches about the day of the Lord that is at hand; and is near; and at the door; and will not delay was accurate.
They all knew the end of all things [destruction] was near, and they preach and teach about it daily.

Peter wrote to the church of his time that the wicked men will be punished at the judgment day; just as God did in the old world and saved Noah with his family; just as God did in Lot days and save Lot with his family (1 Peter 1:2-22).

Moreover, Peter said, in the last day will come mocker who scoff saying, where is the promise of his coming?
Peter remind them, the present heavens and earth (of his time not in our time) are sustained by his word and are reserved for fire on the day of judgment, which is the day of destruction of ungodly men.

Furthermore, he said, do not forget one thing, one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
The Lord is not negligent concerning his promises, as some men count negligence; but is longsuffering toward you (toward the people of his time), not wishing that any (any of them whom he wrote to in his time) should perish, but that all (all of them in his time) should come to repentance.

In addition, Peter said, but the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, when the heaven shall suddenly pass away and the elements shall separate as they burn, and the earth also and the work that are in it shall not be found.

The Lord is not negligent concerning his promises; Jesus Christ is coming back and the new heaven and the new earth were righteousness dwells will happen.

Peter said, one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day ..

What Peter was saying to the church in his time was the same thing Jesus told his disciples, he said to them, don't be negligent about the promise of his coming (for no one know the hour and the day of his coming) and of the new heaven and a new earth where righteousness dwells, for his promise will soon take place.

This is why Jesus says to his disciples, to pray and watch and be alert for they do not know the hour nor the day when the thief will come; to be ready for the Son of man will come at the hour when they don't expect him (Matthew 24:42-44).

For one day for the Lord is a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
God has no time limit, he can come anytime when they are not expected him to come but his coming will happen and Peter is telling them to pray, watch and be alert at all time so when that day come it will not take them by surprise, but they will be ready and prepared to stand before the Lord.
What day he is talking about? Is he talking about a thousand years later after they are all dead and gone? That is not what he is saying here.
He is talking about their present time, any days now his promise of his coming will happen.
Again, why would Jesus says to them those word if his coming will take place thousands of years later?
If they will not be around to see it, why should they be concern about praying, fasting, alert and watchful at all time?

The only hint that Jesus gave to his disciples was this, even so you also, when you see these things happen, know that the kingdom of God is near.
Again, why would Jesus warn them: when you see these things happen, know that the kingdom of God is near; if the kingdom of God will take place thousands of years later and they wouldn't be around alive to see it happen?
I am trying to bring some sense in you.

Jesus said, . this generation will not pass away until all these things happen.
It will happen to the race of Jews living in his time.
Jesus said, heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.
But take heed to yourselves, that your hearts may not become heavy by extravagance and drunkenness and worries of this world, and that day come suddenly upon you (upon those who are hearing him).
For like a downpour it will entrap all those who dwell on the face of all the earth.

Why in the world would Jesus Christ said those words to the people of his time, to take heed to yourselves, that your hearts may not become heavy by extravagance and drunkenness and worries of this world and that day come suddenly upon you; and keep watch always and pray, that you may be worthy to escape all these things which are to happen, and that you may stand before the Son of man; if his coming will take place thousands of years later?

Yes, brother, his coming is to take place and be seen by all Jews in the first century (Luke 21:31-36).
It will not make any sense in the human's mind to believe his warning will take place thousand of years later.

Peter ask a question to the church, what manner of persons ought you to be in your holy conduct and godliness, looking for and longing for the coming of the day of God, wherein the heaven being tested with fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which dwells righteousness.
Therefore, my beloved, while you look for these things, be diligent that you may be found by him in peace, without spot and blameless.
But, my beloved, do not forget this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
The Lord is not negligent concerning his promises, as some men count negligence; but is longsuffering toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."

Peter is not saying to the church in his time: it could be a possibility that Christ coming can occur thousand of years later, no brethren that is not what Peter was saying here, what Peter was saying to the church in his day, don't be careless about his coming because his coming will happen when you never expected.'

The believers in those days because the coming of the Lord was prolonging, many of them were forgetful about the promises of the Lord.
Peter told them not to be thoughtless about his promise; to continue to look for new heavens and a new earth in which dwells righteousness.
And while they look for these things, he exhort them to be diligent that they may be found by him in peace, without spot and blameless.
The message was for them to be prepared that they may be found by him in peace, without any sins when the Lord return.

John wrote:

Rev 1:3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

Rev 22:7 Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.

Rev 22:10 And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.

Rev 22:20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

Rev 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea for the devil is come down unto you having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

Let go over again what John says in the book of Revelation.

John wrote to the seven angels of the seven churches and he said to the angel of the church of Ephesus to repent and do the first works: or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will move thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

Ephesus was a large and important city on the west coast of Asia Minor where the apostle Paul founded church.
Christianity of Ephesus began about AD50. In those time Paul encounted great danger.
A man by the name Dematrius stirred up a riot against Paul.
After Paul departed from Ephesus, Timothy remained in Ephesus to combat false teaching (1 Timothy 1:3; 2 Timothy 4:3; Act 20:29).

To the angel of the church of Pergamos he said to them to repent; or else i will come to thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.
Pergamos was the chief city of Mysia, near Caicus river northen Asia Minor.
It was a City State where the cult of Emperor worship were practiced.
People worship other gods and the church in those time were practicing the doctrine of Balaam and Nicholaitaus (2 Peter 2:15; Jude 11).

To the angel of the church of Thy-a-tira he said, "I will cast her Jeze-bel into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. And I will kill her children with death;...
Thyatira was a city of the province of Lydia in western Asia Minor.
It was a large city with manufacture and commercial center.
That city use to involve in pagan customs and did practice such as superstitions worship, and union feast using food sacrificed to their gods and also they practice sexual morality (Act 16:14).

The city of Smyrna was located in western Asia Minor where the church was established.
It was called itself "the first city of Asia" where cult of emperor worship and fanatical religion that later under such emperors as Nero brought a severe persecution for the early church.
The Apostles after receiving the Spirit and won many souls, later they were persecuted by the Jews and suffered many tribulation.
Persecution were to happen but John said, to be "faithful unto Death" and you will receive a crown of life (Revelation 2:10)

Sardis was the capital city of Lydia in the province of Asia in western Asia Minor.
This city was an important Christian center, and people were eventually affected by the complacency of the city and its reliance on past glory.

Leodiceans was a city in the fertile Lydia Valley of the province of Phrygia.
It use to contain allusions to the economic property and social prominence and also it use to be extremely wealthy city during the Roman period.
The city was destroyed by an earthquake in the year AD 60, after Jesus rose from the dead.
The city was rebuilt again soon afterwards.

The apostle Paul visit this city before the earthquake (Colossians 1:7; 2:1; 4:7-15).
Paul address a letter to the Leodicean in the year AD 60 (Colossians 4:16).

To the angel of the church of Philadelphia, he said, " Because you hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation which shall come upon all the world to try them that dwell upon the earth.

Philadelphia was a city of the province of Lydia in western Asia Minor and were the center of the wine industry.
The Message to the church was that an "hour of temptation" was "about to come upon all the world," ...etc... (Revelation 3:7-13).
Jesus express to the church that he was coming quickly and that they should hold fast.
The message is important because the first persecution of Christians by Nero Caesar took place in AD 64.
John wrote about the coming of the Lord that was at hand; and Paul and Peter wrote letter to the church warning them about the coming of the Lord was at hand, and their letters was written around AD54 and AD64.
Their letters including John letter has a strong connection that warn and alert the church to fast and pray and be diligent that they may be found by him in peace, without spot and blameless.
Therefore it is clear that John wrote the books of Revelation perhaps between 60AD TO 68AD.

In the book of Revelation God sent messages to all the seven churches, but why seven churches when Paul established nine churches in that area of Asia.
What happen to the other two cities where the church was established?
Well according to the history in the year 60AD, there were a earthquake which destroyed the city of Leodiceans, Pergamum, and collosse, but the city of Leodiceans was rebuilt again soon afterwards, but the other two city were not rebuild.
This left the seven churches in Asia during those years.

During the reign of Nero Caesar in AD64 the persecution of the Christians took place and the seven churches were told that the hour of temptation was about to come upon all the world and that his coming is at the hand and to hold fast till he comes [Revelation 1:4; 3:7-13].

Jesus say to the seven angels of the seven churches, "Behold, I come quickly; hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
Him that overcome will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out; and I will write upon him the name of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God; and I will write upon him my new name.

The seven churches in those days does not exist anymore and since then new churches have been established in their place.
Therefore John could not be referring to some other seven angels of the seven churches in the future, to believe this theory is not line up with the word of God and you are rejecting and denying Jesus' prediction that came to pass two thousand years ago , yes, you are calling the Lord a liar.
Let man be a liar but let God be true.

As I have said before Robert Young a man who wrote "concise Commentary on the Holy Bible (1865) he wrote: "It was in Patmos, where John had been banished by Domitius Nero, as stated in the title of the Syriac Version of the Book;
And with this concurs the express statement of Irenaeus (A.D. 175), who says it happened in the reign of Domitianou, i.e. Domitius (Nero).
Sulpicius Severus, Orosius, &c., stupidly mistaking Domitianou for Domitianikos, supposed Irenaeus to refer to Domitian, A.D. 95, and most succeeding writers have fallen into the same blunder.

The internal testimony is wholly in favour of the earlier date.
The temple at Jerusalem was still standing, the writer is writing a description of something that he is seeing at the present and it is still standing there before the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD (ch. 11.1-10); the exact duration of the siege is foretold, viz., 42 months, 3 1/2 years, or 1260 days; Nero was reigning at the time.
The seven kings of Rome; 'five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come, and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.'

History record shown the five kings are Julius Caesar, Augustus, Tiberius, Caligula, Claudius.
The 'one who is ' is Nero; the one who 'must continue for a short space' is Galba, who reigned only seven months.
Everywhere the events are 'to come quickly,' lit. 'with haste,' or speed (ch. 1.1; 2.16; 3.11; 11.14; 22.7, 12, 20).
The escape of the Christian Jews from Jerusalem to Pella is undoubtedly referred to in ch. 7.1-8, compared with Mat. 24.30."

The disciples knew the coming of Jesus was at hand and near or at the door and will not delay.
The gospel of the kingdom has been preached to all nations as a testimony to all the nations, the only things left for them to do is to wait and be watchful at all time.
They knew in that moment the kingdom of God was at hand (St. Matthews 24:1-15; St. Mark 13:1-14; St. Luke 21:5-20).

Seeing Jerusalem surrounded by an army for the first time was a sign for them to get ready to flee.
God was showing them the sign.

God sign gave them a way out and they saw it and all of them escape.
But not for the wicked Jews, the Roman's soldiers took them by surprise, and slaughter all of them (Luke 21:21, 22, 25).

Paul writing to the believer he said to them, For God has not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.
And he who is patience to the end will be saved.

But he who did not believe nor obey the Son, God's wrath came on him (St. Matthews 24:13; Mark 13:13; St. John 3:36; 1thessalonians 5:9).

Men saw the kingdom of God come with power according to Jesus.
Again why would Jesus Christ lie about this?
Why would he says something like this if those men will not see him coming in his kingdom?
Why would he says those words if those men will not live long to see it?
Why, if his saying is going to happen thousands of year later?
I am trying to make sense here brethren.

The son of man coming in his kingdom is the same things as the kingdom of God come with power.
Therefore seeing the kingdom of God come with power is seeing the son of man coming in his kingdom.

Lets read the book of Matthews 24:36-39:

But concerning the day and that hour, no man know, not even the angels of heaven, but the Father alone.

Just as in the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of man.

For as the people before the flood were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day Noah entered into the ark, and they knew nothing until the flood came and carried them all away; such will be the coming of the Son of man.

Now lets read the book of Luke 17:26-29:

Just as it happened in the days of Noah, such will it be in the days of the son of man.

For they were eating and drinking, and marrying and giving in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed every man.

And again, just as it happened in the days of Lot; they were eating and drinking, and buying and selling, and planting and building; but in the day when Lot went out of Sodom, the Lord sent down a rain of fire and sulphur from heaven and destroyed them all.

Such will it be in the day when the Son of man appears.

Lets read another book, the book of Luke 21:34-36:

But take heed to yourselves, that your hearts may not become heavy by extravagance and drunkenness and worries of this world, and that day come suddenly upon you.

For like a downpour it will entrap all those who dwell on the face of all the earth.

Therefore Jesus is saying to keep watch always and pray so that you may be worthy to escape all these things which are to happen, and that you may stand before the Son of man.
The wrath of God allow Titus to bring with him 4 legions to destroy the City of Jerusalem and burn down the temple in pieces and to slain the wicked people, ten thousand were the number of them that were caught and slain according to Josephus testimony who saw it and witness all things.

The Jews who had pray and watch at all time and who has presenting their body a living sacrifice holy and acceptable unto God, were quicken through the Spirit, they put on immortality and escape the wrath of God.

Thank God that today we have the privilege to put on immortality through the gospel.

How do we put on immortality?
Through the gospel.

Fist of all, according to the gospel, sinners must repent and believe that Jesus is the Christ, the son of the living God who rose from the grave, and then be baptized on water.

Second, after sinners have been born again and remain in Christ and his word remain in them and as they meditate on his commandments day and night and present their body a living sacrifice holy and acceptable unto God and with patience wait for the Spirit of God to quickened their mortal body, once the body is made alive then they have put on immortality and they will be able to stand against any circumstances and tolerate it and deal with it wisely and successfully.

Putting on immortality mean your mortal body is dead to sin and made alive by the Spirit to obey and submit to God's law, but it does not mean your mortal body will not go through life without feeling any pain and difficulty, no, on contrary, it mean you will have the strength to endure it and bear it with love and faith and patiently deal with it wisely.
God will empower you with so much strength to walk after the Spirit.
After you put on immortality you become a warrior of God's love that can never fail and you will enter into the kingdom of God.
This entering into the kingdom is spiritually and not literately, for flesh and blood can not enter into the Kingdom of God, but by the Spirit (1 Corinthians 15:50).
Only a spiritual body, that have been born again of incorruptible seed and have transformed his mortal body to Christ glorious body, an immortality body can enter into the kingdom of God.

When Christ come he will come in his kingdom no flesh and blood will enter into it, but only those who has be born again of incorruptible seed and those who the Spirit made alive.

1 Corinthians 15:35-54: Paul is explaining what body will come out.
He used the seed that you planted will give its own body.
The seed die first then it has his own natural body like grain and wheat.
It is sown in weakness then it is raise in power.
It is sown dishonor then it is raise in glory.
It is sown a natural body then it is raise a spiritual body.
The first Adam was a living soul then the last Adam was made a quicken spirit.
So is in the resurrection of the dead, he said, it is sown corruption and it is raise incorruption.
First you sown natural then it is raise spiritually.
We have borne with the image of the earthly, we shall also bear the image of heavenly.
The first man is of the earth, earthly then the second man is the Lord from heaven.

Verse 51 speak about us changing.
Verse 54 speak this changing is that this mortal must put on immortality.
When you present your body a living sacrifice holy and acceptable unto God, when you live after the Spirit by being spiritually minded, that is how it is sown a mortal body, and the body is dead because Christ dwell in you and then, it is raise an immortal body, made alive body. It is no longer your body but Christ body.

Immortality is what you wear on, just the way you wear your cloth and shoes.
Just the way you wear on the helmet of salvation.
Just the way you put on the whole armour of God to prevail against all the power of the devil.

Let read again 1 Corinthians 15:51-52 he wrote: we shall all not die, but we shall all be change....the dead shall be raised incorruptible and we shall be change. ... For this corruptible must put on incorruption and this mortal must put on immortality.

As I have said before incorruptible is the new man who is created by God in righteousness and true holiness.
Immortality is an made alive body that submit to God and continue to bring forth fruit of the Spirit, living in the Spirit and surrender to the Spirit daily (Ephesians 4:22-32).
Immortality is a spiritual transformation, it is the result of after keeping the body under and submissive to the Spirit of God.

Your mortal body must die first and then it will be made alive and blooms and bring forth fruit of the spirit.

Again incorruptible is the change of your thoughts and habits like a little child, and immortality is the result after presented your body a living sacrifice holy and acceptable unto God, that sinful body must die.
You have to cloth yourselves with Christ and abhor that which is evil so your mortal will change completely to Christ glorious body.

The Lord Jesus said to Nicodemus for a man to enter into the kingdom of God he must be born again, in another word he has to change his carnal mind The Carnal thoughts must be cast down and under at all time.

A born again person see the kingdom of God.
Jesus said to his disciples if you are not born again you can not see the kingdom of God neither can you enter into the kingdom of God.
For John said, Whoever is born of God does not commit sin because God's seed is in him and he cannot sin because he is born of God.
He who commits sin is of the devil ...; Whoever abides in him does not sin; and whoever sins has not seen him, neither known him [1 John 3:6,8,9].

1 Corinthians 15:34 Paul said, Awake your hearts to righteousness and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God, I says this to your shame.

Jesus said, unless you change and become like a little child, you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
For Paul has said, Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
It means we have to work out our salvation day by day with fear and trembling (St. Matthews 18:3; 19:14; St. Luke 9:48; 18:16,17; St. John 3:3; 1 John 4:7; Philippians 2:12).

Therefore, for you to enter into the kingdom of God, you have to changes your thoughts and habits by laying aside all our former practice which is degenerated with deceitful lusts (Ephesians 4: 22,23).

Remember the kingdom of God is spiritually.
This changing happen after you do your part to walk in a new and living way.

What can be compared to immortality?:

Immortality can be compare to a royal dress.
This dress will transform you into another person, a better person, a royal prince of God.
And as royal price of God you will possess the authority over any temptation and any trial and you will endure it and conquer it.

Again, putting on immortality is like:

  • Putting on the helmet of God.

  • Clothe yourselves with Christ.

  • Putting on the new man, who is created by God in righteousness and true holiness.

  • Putting on the armor of God and salvation.

  • Taken the sword of the spirit.

  • Putting on the breastplate of faith and love.

  • Putting on the hope of salvation; and so on.

To put on is to:

  1. Change your negative thinking

  2. Change your evil communication

  3. Change the way you see all things

  4. Change the way you hear

  5. Change you deeds

You must change your carnal ways of thinking and that include changing your bad habits as well, and do what is right before God.
Immortality is a change, from an imperfect child of the devil to a perfect child of God.

The word of God says, It is not I who live, but Christ who lives in me; and the life which now I live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me (Luke 21:1-38; Galatians 2:20; 1Thessalonians 5:1-8; 2Thessalonians 2:1-8).

That sinful body, that old man take it off and put on the new man who is made in righteousness and true holiness.
Cover yourselves with power and prepared for the battle, face all trial and tribulation with joy and happiness.

All of those who patiently endure suffering James the apostle count them happy [James 5:11].

Those who are partaker of suffering, rejoice said Peter [1 Peter 4:13.

James said take it as a joy when you enter into many and varied temptations [James 1:2].

Remember we are to fight a good fight of faith; and God's Spirit of love strengthen us to fight the good fight of faith and win, you should know this, that whoever love is born again and triumph over the world and this is the victory which conquers the world, even our faith.

For this we also know, that God so love the world that he sent his only begotten son that whosoever believe in his Son shall have everlasting life.
His love shall be pour into our heart by his Spirit to govern our life and to cover multitude of sins.
God's Spirit of love clothe you in righteousness.

Therefore life and immortality is revealed to us through the gospel.

Lets read Luke 21:28,31

He says, when you see these things begin to happen, have courage and lift up your heads, because your salvation is at hand.

Even so you also, when you see these things happen, know that the Kingdom of God is near."

So when you see it begin to happen have courage and lift up your heads, because your salvation is at hand.

And when you see these things happen then you know the Kingdom of God is near.

James and Peter saw what Jesus was talking about.
James wrote: you too be patient; strengthen your heart, for the coming of the Lord is at hand [James 5:8].
Peter wrote: The end of all things is at hand; therefore, be of sound judgment and sober spirit for the purpose of prayer [1 Peter 4:7].
They knew back then that the coming of the Lord was at hand; they knew that the end of all thing was at hand.

Jesus Christ said the kingdom of God is like the end of the world; the angels will go out and separate the bad from among the righteous and they will throw them into the furnace of fire; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth (Matthews 13:47-50).

Jesus also said the kingdom of God is like the end of the world the angels will pick out from his kingdom all things which cause stumbling and all workers of iniquity and they will throw them into the furnace of fire; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Then the righteous ones shall shine as the sun in the kingdom of their Father (Matthews 3:36-43).

The wicked Jews who did not receive neither believe that Jesus Christ was the Son of God, the Messiah, God's angels separate them from the just and throw them into the hands of the Roman's soldiers to be kill and those who remain alive were taken into slavery.

Jesus also said the kingdom of God is like ten virgins.
Five were wise who kept their light shining and they were watching for the bridegroom and the bride.
But the other five were foolish who did not have light because their lamp did not have oil, they left their watch to buy oil.
But when the bridegroom came the five wise virgins enter with him into the banqueting and the door was locked.
And the other five virgins who were foolish did not enter but were left outside. Jesus said, be alert, therefore, for you do not know the day nor the hour (Matthews 25:1-13).

The ten virgins who five were wise and their light shine because their light was fill with oil, they were always praying and watching for the bridegroom to come and when the bridegroom came they enter with him into the kingdom.
But the five foolish who were wicked did not saw the bridegroom come and they were left outside for the enemy to destroy them.

The kingdom of heaven is like a king who gave a marriage feast for his son.
And he sent his servants to invite those who were worthy, but those who were not worthy and those who murder the kings servants, the king sent his armies and destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
The murderer who killed the Lord's servants for preaching the gospel, the Lord allow Titus' soldiers to come and destroy them and burn down their city of Jerusalem and temple.
Here the Jews who rejected Jesus Christ and crucified him on the cross were not able to escape the wrath of God and they were destroyed

But those who were worthy came and enter into his kingdom and the banqueting was filled with guests.
When the king came to see the guest and he saw a man who was not wearing a garment, the king told his servants to bind his hands and his feet and take him out into darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
For many are called, and few are chosen (Matthews 22:1-14).
Those who did not believe nor obey his word were called, but those who believe and obey Christ's word were chosen and in that day his servants will bind those who are disobedient to his word and put them out into darkness for destruction.
Again those who are not clothes with christ were caught and destroyed by the enemies.

Revelation 7:1-17: An angel cried out saying, to the four angels, Do not hurt the earth neither the sea nor the trees, til they have sealed the servants of our Lord upon their brows.
The numbers of servants that needing to be sealed was 144,000 before the angels started to hurt the earth and the sea and the trees.
144,000 were not yet be sealed, but after they were sealed the angels began to hurt the earth and the sea and the trees.

These 144,000 were the 12 tribes of the children of Israel.[Revelation 7:4]
They were the souls of them that was converted by the gospel.
Christ"s disciples and the Apostle Paul won everyone of their souls to Christ through the gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven.

Peter after receive the Holy Ghost, he preach the gospel and in his first sermon he won about 3,000 souls in that day.[Acts 2:41]

Peter in his second sermon he won about 5,000 souls in that day. [Acts 4:4]

After Peter won 5,000 souls, God use him and people saw the hands of the Lord and they fear God and those who believed in the Lord greatly increase by multitudes both of men and women. [Acts 5:14]

In those days many disciples increased and Peter who wanted to continue preaching the word, the 12 disciples called upon all converted and selected men to serve food while Peter continue to preach the word of God and after men were selected for this task the scripture said, and the word of God spread and the number of the converted in Jerusalem increased greatly; and many people of Jewish faith became converts. [Acts 6:1-7]

Philip also preached the gospel and won souls and many who believe were baptized both men and woman. [Acts 8:5-12]

Philip was arose and went south by the way of the desert leads down from Jerusalem to Gaza and there he met a man who also heard the word of God and he believe and was baptized. [Acts 8:26-39]

Then Saul who persecute the church got converted and was baptizes.[Acts 9:18]

Peter preached the gospel and came down and dwelt at the city of Lydda and there God use Peter to heal a man who was paralyzed in bed eight years and after God heal him, those who dwelt at Lydda and Sharon turned to God. [Acts 9:32-35]

Peter went to the city of Joppa and there God use him to rise up a dead woman and this was known throughout the city and many believed in the Lord. [Acts 9:36-42]

Paul and Barnabas speak about Christ to the Jews who fear God follow them and was persuaded to continue in the grace of God. [Acts 13:43]

At city of Iconium Paul and Barnabas spoke to the Jewish in the Synagogue and many of them believed.[Acts 10:1,4]

Paul and Barnabas went to the city of Derbe and there many people got converted. [Acts 14:20-21]

All of the chapters and verses in the book of Acts shows that many Jews increased greatly and these were the Jews that John in the book of Revelation saw the servant of our Lord sealed upon their brows before the angel hurt the earth, the sea and the trees.
These servants of the Lord is the tribes of Israel, the 144,000 Jews who was converted by the gospel and sealed upon their brows.

After they were sealed upon their brows, John said he saw a great multitude of people which no man could number which came out of great tribulation, these people came out of it and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
They were the people of every nation and kindred and tongue who were in the great tribulation, but they came out of it.

Jesus told his disciple about the beginning of suffering (Mark 13:1-8).

In the first chapter of the book of Acts to chapter 7, the apostles suffer persecutions.
\
But in chapter 8 and verse one, here begin a severe persecution against the church at Jerusalem and they were all, with the exception of the apostles, dispersed throughout the towns of Judea and Samaria.

Since then Saul put a lot of Christians in jail and the first Christian of being stone to death was Stephen.

Believers were fasting and watching at all time and they all witness the beginning of persecution, then the sever persecution, these tribulation came upon them for the sake of the gospel.

In Acts 14:22, Paul strengthening the souls of the converts and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and telling them that only through much tribulation can we enter into the kingdom of God.

2 Peter 3:15, Peter said, consider that the long suffering of the Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also, according to the wisdom given to him, has written to you.

1 Peter 4:12-19 Peter said, rejoice, for you are partakers of Christs sufferings .. because these things are to prove you ... and If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the glorious Spirit of God rests upon you ... and let those who suffer according to the will of God commit their souls to him in well doing as to a faithful Creator.

John saw an angel sealing the servants of our Lord in their brows; and that means he saw what was happening before the severe persecution that came bythe hands of the Jews and then by the hands of Nero.

Deceiver will also come.

Jesus said, many will come in my name and say I am Christ and will deceive many.
The bible said in those days many who are called brethren will try to deceive the Christians and if it is possible many Christians will listen to them. The false brethren will says Jesus is Christ but will mislead and deceived many.

The scripture in Acts 13:6-12, it tell us that people were deceived by a false prophet name Bar-Shuma who seek to turn away the proconsul from the faith.
In those days, there were false Prophet and sorcerer too (Acts 13:6)

Paul mentioned those men as men who has changed the truth of God for lies (Romans 1:18-32).

Paul speaking to the church of Corinth he said to them, "For we are not like those who corrupt the word of God, but according to the truth, and as men of God we speak through Christ in the sight of God [2 Corinthians 2:17].

Paul said there were false apostle and deceitful worker, posing as apostle of Christ, who dominates and lives at there expense, who take from them and exalt himself over them and who smite them on the face and etc ...(2 Corinthians 11:1-33)

In Jerusalem there were false brethren who spy on Paul, Barnabas and Titus with the intention to enslaving them (Galatians 2:4).

In Galatians the Christians were bewitched from their faith (Galatians 5:1-3).

In Colossians there were false teacher and Paul spoke to Colossians about the knowledge of the mystery of God the Father and of Christ so that no man may beguile them with enticing word (Colossians 2:1-4).

Paul mentioned to Timothy that the Spirit says expressly that in the latter times some shall depart form the faith, following after misleading spirits and doctrines of the devils. Paul prepared them to recognize those false brethren who teaches and preaches different doctrines.... (1 Timothy 4:1-5; 6:3-5).

Paul told Timothy to shun empty and worthless word because they only increase the ungodliness of those who argue over them. And their word will be like a canker eating in many; such are Hymenaeus and Philetus, who have strayed from the truth, saying that the resurrection of the dead is already passed, thus destroying the faith of some (2 Timothy 2;16-17).

Paul also mentioned to Timothy that in the last days disastrous times will come and men shall be lovers of themselves and lovers of money, proud, conceited, blasphemers, disobedient to their own people, ungrateful, wicked, false accusers, addicts to lust, brutal, haters of good things, traitors, hasty, boasters, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; having a form of godliness, but far from the power of God; from such turn away. What Paul was saying to Timothy that this people are here right now and from such people turn away (2 Timothy 3:1-5).

And the time will come when men will not listen to sound doctrine; but they will add for themselves extras teachers according to their desires. being lured by enticing words; and they will turn away their ears from the truth, and they will turn to fables (2 Timothy 4:1-4).

Paul also said to Titus, for there are many unruly and vain talker and deceiver of the people especially those who belong to the circumcision, whose mouths must be stopped, for they corrupt many families, teaching things which they ought not for the sake of filthy lucre (money). One of them, even a prophet of their own said, the Cretians are always liars, vicious beast with empty bellies. ... Therefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith, and not give to Jewish fable and commandments of men who hate the truth. .....(Titus 1:10-16).

Paul again is saying these people are here therefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith, and not give to Jewish fable and commandments of men who hate the truth, yes, many deceiver appeared during Paul lifetime.

In the book of Hebrews it speak that in these latter days God spoken to us by his Son (Hebrews 1;1).

Peter wrote the following, while you are kept by the power of God through faith for the life eternal which is ready to be revealed at the last time (1 Peter 1:5).

Peter then said, But the end of all things is at hand; ...(1 Peter 4:7).

Peter said to the church in his time, there were false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord who redeemed them, and thus bringing upon themselves swift destruction (2 Peter 2:1-22).

Peter said, there shall come in the last days mockers who scoff, following after their own lusts and saying, where is the promise of his coming? for since our fathers died all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation (2 Peter 3:3,4).

John wrote, My little children, it is the last time; and as you have heard that a false christ shall come, even now there are many false christs, and from this we know that it is the last time>. ....(1 John 2:18).

John advise the church not to believe all prophecy but to examine the prophecies to find out if they are of God, because many false prophet have appeared in the world. ....(1 John 4:1-4).

In the second letter of John he said, for many deceiver have appeared in the world, who do not acknowledge that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh. Such a person is a deceiver and an antichrist (2 John 7).

Jude wrote about this people saying, And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold the Lord comes with ten thousands of his saints, to execute judgment upon all and to punish all who are ungodly for all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in an ungodly manner and for all the harsh words which the ungodly sinners have spoken.
These are the one who murmur and complain, following after their own lusts, and their mouth speak idle flattering words, praising people for the sake of gain.
But you my beloved remember the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ.
How they told you there will be mockers until the end of time, and they will always follow their own ungodly lusts.
These are those who prefer to associate with selfish people because they do not have the Spirit in them (Jude 14-19).

All of these chapter and verses above proof that there were false prophet and false teachers or antichrist in the world and they were deceiving the people and lying to them in the last days; again, all of these proof that Christ word that many will come in his name will deceive many and will mislead if it possible, even the chosen ones, was happening in their time.

In the book of Luke chapter 21 and verse 8, Jesus said to his disciples, Be careful that you may not be deceived; for many will come in my name, and say, I am the Christ; and the time is near; but do not follow them.

Jesus was saying, "the time is near .... do not follow them" means "not far from now ... do not follow them."
Why then the church of today still think that Jesus warning "to be careful of deceivers ....and do not follow them" will happen thousands of years later?
Jesus warning was for his disciples, for his people of his time and not for us, his warning was for them to be careful of deceivers, for many deceivers will come, and the time is not far from now.

Many deceivers appeared in those days and mislead many of them.
For example, a man by the name Judah, the Galilean, in the days when people were registering for the head tax, he mislead many people into following him (Acts 5:37).
An Egyptian prophet lies to 30,000 men.
Another man by the name of Semon who was a sorcerer led many people to think he was a God (see in Acts 8:9-11).
And another man name Jerome was claiming to be the Word of God. (Matthews 24:5,24; Mark 13:22; Luke 21:8).
The saying of Jesus came to pass letter by letter.

In the written of Paul, the apostle, he wrote a letter to the Thessalonians Saints explaining to them the gathering together with the Lord will be.

Paul the Apostle to the church of Thessalonians he said: "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first, then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and so shall we ever be with the Lord" (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17).

Before verse 16-17 Paul tell the church of Thessalonians that those who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

And that those who are asleep are already with the Lord and God will bring with him, but those who are dead in Christ, they are people who have been spiritually dead to sin, they will be risen first.
And after they are risen first to incorruptible then those who are alive will be change to immortality and together they will be caught up in the cloud to meet out Lord in the air.

Now lets get more understanding what Paul is saying here, there are two thing we have to understand, first, Paul said you should not grieve over those who are asleep, as those do who have no hope, and the reason why because those who has asleep are people who body is in the grave but their soul is with God.
So Paul is saying those who are asleep are with God and God will bring them with him (verse 13).

But the dead in Christ, is not the same as those who are asleep in Jesus Christ.
There is difference between to be asleep and to be dead in Christ.
Those who are asleep are people that have die a physical death but the dead in Christ are people that have been dead to sin spiritually, one is dead physically and the other is dead to sin spiritually.

These people who are dead in Christ, have crucified their old self with Christ and they are buried with Christ by baptism into death, planted together with Christ in the likeness of his death, so that their mortal body might be destroyed and be free of sin, serving no more sin, dead to sin.
These people the Lord will rise first.

According to Paul letter, we all are risen with Christ spiritually, but physically death are those body laid in the tomb and are asleep, and Paul in his letter he said, those people who are asleep are present with the Lord, they are no longer in the grave.

Paul to the church of Corinth (2 Corinthians 5:6,8) he said, as long as we dwell in the body (physically), we are absent from our Lord ....; we are confident and anxious to be absent from the body and to be present with our Lord.

Paul states, to be physically dead is to be asleep and to be asleep is to be present with the Lord, therefore, if you are present with the Lord you don't need to be risen from the grave, because you are already with the Lord.
Remember, the scripture says, flesh and blood will not inherent the Kingdom of God, so it is not a physical body that is important but a spiritual body [immortality body], and your own soul that will be with the Lord and will have access to enter into the Kingdom of God.

In the book of Roman chapter 6, it says, those who are dead in Christ (dead to sin spiritually) has crucify their old selves with Christ; and they are planted in the likeness of his death, baptized into his death so that the sinful body [physical body] might be destroyed that henceforth and should not serve sin anymore but be free from sin and walk in a new life [a spiritual life].

Philippians 1:21-24; Paul feeling of living his mortal body demonstrate his desire of leaving and be present with the Lord, but then seeing the brothers whom he love very much, the church, being in the body, staying in the body was beneficial or needful for the Church, but again Paul expression is that Christ is his life, and to die is gain, because being absent of the body is to be present with the Lord which is much better.

Paul continue saying, ...., I do not know what to choose. For I am torn between two desires, the one to depart, that I may be with Christ, which is far better; nevertheless for me to remain in the flesh is more needful for you.

Again to departed from this body is to be asleep, and to be asleep is to be present with the Lord, but to be dead in Christ is to be dead to sin, and to be risen up with Christ, is to be born again of incorruptible seed by the word of God whcih abide forever.

Being dead with Christ and risen with Christ, Paul in his letter explain in plain detail see below [Colossians 3:1-4]:

  • 1. If you then are risen with Christ seek those things which are above where Christ sits on the right hand of God .

  • 2. Set your mind on things above not on the things on the earth

  • 3. For you are dead and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

  • 4. When Christ who is our life shall appear, then shall we also appear with him in glory.

Here Paul is telling us, if we are dead to sin and risen with Christ then seek those thing from above because our life is hidden with Christ and when he appear or come, then shall we also shall appear or come with him in glory.
Again, he explain if we are dead to sin and risen with Christ then our life is hidden with Christ and when he appear or come, we shall also appear or come with him in glory.
It is with Christ that we are able to set our mind on the things above and it is with Christ that we are able to seek those things which are above because our life is hidden with Christ in God.

Lets read the book of Ephesians 2:5,6:

  • 5. Even when we were dead in our sin, he has made us live together with Christ, by whose grace we are saved.

  • 6. And he has raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus..

lets compare it with the book of Romans 6:5-8,11,22

  • 5. For if we have been planted together with him in the likeness of his death, so shall we be also in the likeness of his resurrection.

  • 6. For we know that our old selves are crucified with him, so that the sinful body might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

  • 7. For he who is dead is freed from sin.

  • 8. Now if we are dead with Christ, let us believe that we shall also live with Christ.

  • 11. Likewise, you also must consider yourself as being dead to sin, but alive to God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

  • 22. But now being made free from sin and become servants of God, your fruits are holy, and the end thereof is life everlasting.

  • 23. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life Lord Jesus Christ.

If we crucified ourselves with him then we are planted together with him in the likeness of his death, we are dead to sin, and God will raise us up through Christ Jesus (this is how we become the servants of God ready to be sealed on our brows) and God will made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

But you might says wait a minute Paul is not talking about "the dead in Christ", but "being dead with Christ", both of them are not the same.

For your information you do not understand the scripture, if you are dead with Christ then you are dead in Christ and you have been buried with him by baptism into death or by being planted in the likeness of his death, so that you also can be risen the same way Christ was risen by the glory of his Father, risen in the likeness of his resurrection [Roman 6:4,5; Colossians 2:12].
In that day those who have been dead to sin and buried with Christ by baptism into death are dead in Christ, and the Lord will descend from heaven and he will raise them in the same likeness of his resurrection (Here we are talking about the new birth, the new covert believer are putting on incorruptible by the word of God).

One is asking you a question, "if we are dead with Christ", because you are not dead to sin yet.
The other one is telling you something, "the dead in Christ", they are people who have been crucified and are dead to sin, and to complete the glory of the Father, he will raise them in the same likeness of Christ's resurrection.

Those who are buried with Christ are dead in Christ and will be risen first, and after they are risen then they will be caught up to heavenly places or sit in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.
Remember the only way sinners can be dead with Christ, if the sinners see him [they can see him though the body of Christ] and believe on him, then, God will draw them to Christ, for the scripture says, in John 6:40,44, "And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which see the Son, and believe on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
No man can come to me [said Jesus], except the Father which hath sent me draw him to me: and I will raise him up at the last day."
Here Jesus is telling the sinners the only way to come to him if they see him [through us] and believe in him and the Father will draw them to Jesus, them Jesus will raise them up at the last day.

When the last days began?

In Acts 2:1-21 will tell us when, the scripture said, that in the day of Pentecost all the people that were assemble together in the upper room, received the Holy Spirit and they all speak in various languages and when the people of Jerusalem, the Jews, heard their own language they were all amaze and wanted to know what was happening.
Then the Apostle Peter stood up and said unto them, "But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; and it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: and on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: and I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke: the sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come: and it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

These verses tell us the last days began after the people were filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke in various language, and we know it continue til the fulfillment of Christ's words when Jerusalem was surround with Roman's army and destroyed it.
The last days refer to those period of days when God's people were persecute, put in jail for preaching the word of God and tempting and suffering for Christ's sake and for the gospel's sake, but the judgment of the last day will come soon upon them who did not knew him and did not accepted the gospel of Jesus Christ.

When did he came?

According to a witness who wasn't a christian by the name Josephus, and other historical books, it tell us when all had occurred, it started from the first Roman's attend to destroyed Jerusalem in the year 66AD until the destruction of Jerusalem in the years 70AD, he came to recompense tribulation to those who oppress his people [the Jews who did not knew the Messiah and persecute the church] and to give the Christians Jews peace including to be glorify by his saints and to perform his wonders among his faithful ones, so that their testimony concerning them may be believe in that day.

What a wonderful day it was to see a way out to escape and flee without any harm, Jesus in his appearance sent his angels to camp around his chosen one, and for the Christians Jews to escape to the mountain safely, and protected them at all time.
They saw their testimony concerning them in that day [when all of them escape the wrath of God] came to passed, but the wrath of God, the flaming fire was pour upon all sinners who did not knew God and did not acknowledge the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ [2 Thessalonians 1:4-10].

Lets come back to what I was talking about the dead in Christ.

A sinner is draw by God to Jesus if they believe in him and see him through the body of Christ.
A sinner must first become dead with Christ in order to put to death their sin, and once they do that then they have become dead in Christ.

Jesus says, in the last day he will raise him up.
In that day, when?
When he come to save his People, for the scripture says, So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation [Hebrews 9:28].

In Aramaic bible translation says: So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; so that at his second coming he shall appear without our sins for the salvation of those who look for him.

There you go, those who have been planted in the likeness of his death, death to sin and also looking at Jesus Christ, for him to rise them up first and then those who are alive and remain will gather together with them and be caught up in the clouds, I believe this is a metaphor [or perhaps symbolic] expression meaning together they will flee to the mountain where many will be saved, they will find in that mountain the Lord salvation.
Meanwhile in Jerusalem, the Romans soldiers will come back again for the second time to surrounded the Holy City and destroy all the wicked Jews who did not known God, who did not acknowledge our Lord Jesus Christ.
But again, God's people, the Christians Jews, his angels will protect them while they are escaping to the mountain because God has not appointed his people to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ [1 Thessalonians 5:9].

After raising his people in the last day, and caught them up together in the clouds, 1 Thessalonians 4:17], he will made them sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus [to meet the Lord in the air, verse 17], so will they be with the Lord forever.

The moment they are risen from the dead, together with them who are alive, both will be caught up in the clouds and sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus forever, that is how they will be with our Lord forever, it is a spiritual places where they will be with the Lord forever, and that places is in the heart of every believers gathering together in the mountain [Ephesians 2:5,6].

Therefore the dead in Christ has to be people who has been dead to sin or else Paul would have referred them as those who are asleep, but we know well that those who are asleep are with the Lord and God bring them with him.

And this conclude the dead in Christ are those who have been dead to sin and buried with him by baptism into death, and to complete the glory of his Father, the Father will rise them first to a new life to walk a new living way (a new creature through Christ Jesus Our Lord; to be a new man) and then later as he keep his body under and follow the direction of the Holy Spirit then the Spirit who rise Jesus Christ from the dead will quickened his mortal body and God will sit them in heavenly places where they will meet the Lord and be with him forever.
Remember, we all are already sitting in heavenly places through Jesus Christ Our Lord.

The Christians before they were born again of incorruptible seed they were first sinner who walked in darkness and did bad things, they had bad manners, they did evil deeds, they did not have integrity, they were dishonest, they were disobedient, hatred of all good thing and guilty of death, but after they found Christ and came to Christ they became dead to sin, and God rose them up, and they put on incorruptible and become a new creature in Christ, born again.

Now those who has been alive and present their mortal body a living sacrificed unto God daily, the Spirit will quickened them to put on immortality through the gospel [2 Timothy 1:10].
God shall transformed their mortal body to the likeness of his Son glorious body, according to his mighty power, whereby he is able to subdue all thing to himself; thanks God that immortality is revealed through the gospel [Romans 8:11; 1 Corinthians 15:51-52; Ephesians 422-32; Philippians 3:21; 2 Timothy 1:10] .
Those who had put on incorruptible seed, together with them who has put on immortality are called believers, whom God will sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

"To meet our Lord in the air" is to stand before the Lord.

When the Lord transfigured before the eyes of his disciples, Moses and Elijah appear to them too and after they spoke to Jesus they enter into the clouds, the Lord said to his disciples, do not speak of this vision in the presence of anyone until the son of man rises from the dead.
Do not speak of this vision, seeing Moses and Elijah appear to them and speaking to Jesus and enter into the clouds, from the clouds hearing a voice saying this is my beloved son with him I am pleased; hear him is a vision according to Jesus Christ.
Here the clouds are people.
It is the same Clouds Paul is reference in 1 Thessalonians 4:17, these clouds are people where believers are caught up.
In another word, the mountain where they were fleeing to, clouds of people are there to receive them who escape the wrath of God.

Another example of clouds of people we can find it in the book of Acts 1:9: where a cloud received him out of their sight.
Out of this clouds two men stood by them in white apparel who were looking stedfastly toward heaven as Jesus Christ went up, ascended.

Do you think cloud in the sky can receive people?
In Hebrew 12:1, it said, "... we are surrounded with so great a cloud of witnesses".
Do you think he was talking about clouds that you and I can't see and yet we are surrounded by them?

The same thing happen in the last day, in the day of Lord; Jesus descending from heaven and the eyes of all the chosen one saw the sign, and the angels surrounded them and help them and were able to escape the wrath of God and were saved.

Paul said, all persecutions and tribulation that you [The church of Thessalonians] endure and suffer, in the righteous judgment of God you will be made worthy of his kingdom and be at peace [rest] with us when our Lord Jesus Christ shall be revealed from heaven with the host of his angels [2 Thessalonians 1:4-10].

God at the judgment day he will recompense tribulation to those who oppress the saints, and he will avenge with flaming fire those who know not God neither acknowledge the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, and they shall be rewarding with everlasting destruction from the presence of our Lord and from the glory of his power when he comes to be glorified by his saint and to perform his wonders among his faithful ones, so that our testimony concerning you may be believe in that day [2 Thessalonians 1:4-10].

Did the Lord Jesus Christ reveals himself from heaven at the judgment day recompensed tribulation to those who oppressed his servants and avenge with flaming fire those who were wicked who did not know God neither acknowledge the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ and rewarding them with everlasting destruction?
Yes he did, and it came to pass in the year 70 AD.

Lets compare other chapter and verse, "... to be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet our Lord in the air", Paul says the same word in another way in Ephesians 2:6: And he has raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

Again Paul use metaphor [or symbolic] words to show the believer the salvation of the Lord.
In Matthew 24:31 and Mark 13:27, he stated: He will send his angels to gather his chosen one from the four winds, from the utmost part of the earth to the utmost part in heaven.

In Matthew 24:16 it tells us where to, the mountain
In the day of Noah, God told Noah to enter in the Ark with all of his family and when they enter into the Ark the door was shut and God destroy the earth with waters.
The waters started to decrease gradually and when it abate from the face of the earth, the Ark rested upon the mountains of Ar'arat [Aramaic bible says, Kardo in northern Iraq].

In the day of Lot, the angels said to Lot leave the city and go to the mountain, first Lot left the city far away not to the mountain where he and his family will be saved, but when they left the city, then the angels destroy the city of Sodom and Gomorrah.

The generation of Jesus' days, was warn to flee to the mountain, a places where all believers are gathered together for safety.

Paul use metaphor words to explain the caught up and to meet the Lord in the air, just like he had explained the end.
Jesus said, "immediately after the suffering of those days the sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light and the stars will fall from the sky and the powers of the universe will be shaken."

We understand that the stars is not going to fall from the sky literally neither the sun is going to be darkened literally nor the moon is not going to give its light literally, because all of these things are metaphor [or symbolic] expression of warning of what is going to happen soon, it means destruction to the city, to the people, it means the wrath of God, it means bringing the sword against the wicked people.

Caught up and in the air is symbolic or Metaphor meaning to go out some place, escape or fleeing to some place, for example: in the book of Proverbs 23:5, it speak of ruler and rich man who makes of himself wings like an eagle and flies away toward the sky.
Does this verse mean they have literal wings to fly toward the sky, not at all for it is symbolic or a metaphor expression meaning to go away or to leave from.

In the book of Jeremiah 49:16, it also give metaphor or symbolic expression for example: a man sent to rise up nation for battle God said to him, though you make your nest among the star, and though you make your nest as high as the eagles, I will bring you down from the there.
Does it means literally this man can nest among the star or high as the eagles, not at all for man will not survive in the space, this is a metaphor or symbolic.

Another metaphor or symbolic we can find it in the book of Isaiah 40:31, it said, God's people shall grow wings as an eagles .....
Does that mean people can literally grow wings as an eagles, not at all.

Jeremiah 4:13: speak about his people comes up as clouds, and his chariots shall be as a whirlwind ....
Does people literally comes up as clouds of the sky and his chariots as whirlwind, not at all, this expression is understood as symbolic or metaphor.

Ezekiel 1:10-28: speak about living creatures who has 4 faces appearance: a man, a lion, an ox and an eagle; and has wheels too, and has wings and they went straight forward where the Spirit was to go and when they went the wheels went with them and when they were lifted up from the ground the wheels were lifted up with them and when they run and they return not. Including the Living creatures has an appearance of a burning coal of fire and out of the fire went forth like a flash of lighting and has an appearance of a lamp; moreover it also has an appearance of firmament resembling pure crystal stretched out over there heads above.
Are these to take it literal? not at all, for it has it own explanation of what Ezekiel saw.

For example in the book of 2 Thessalonians 2:8, the scripture speak about the Lord Jesus shall consume with the Spirit of his mouth the wicked one ...
In Jeremiah 23:29 the scripture said, Is not my word like as a fire? said the Lord; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?
Also 2 SAMUEL 22:8 the scripture said, ... there went up a smoke out of his nostril and fire out of his mouth devoured coals were kindled by it.
And Jeremiah 6:14, it said, Because ye speak this word, behold, I will make my word in they mouth fire, and this people wood, and it shall devour them.
The fire that is coming out of the mouth according to the scripture above is the word of God and will devoured the people, for the scripture said, "God is a consuming fire" [Hebrew 12:29].

So 2 Thessalonians is talking about the Lord Jesus shall consume with the Spirit of his mouth the wicked one must be understood he shall consume with the word of his mouth the wicked one.
For everything came to existing by the spoken word of God [Genesis chapter 1 and 2], and by his word man shall die too.

Revelation 12:14: The woman who is clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and her head a crown of twelve stars who was given two wings of great eagle, that she might fly ... to the wilderness ... whom the serpent sent a flood of water out of his mouth after the woman to cause her to be swept away by the flood, but the earth help her and open it's mouth and swallowed up the water.

Did the woman literally clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and has a crown of twelve stars? Not at all for these symbol represent people.
Did she literally has wings and fly to the wilderness? Not at all, for all this represent her going to or perhaps escaping or fleeing to a place to hear the word of God.
Look also at Jesus he was taken by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.
But the woman in Revelation has her own wings to fly to the wilderness to be fed, in another word she escape to a place where she heard the word of God, or where she was fed with the bread of life Jesus Christ

Did the serpent literally make flood of water come out of it mouth to cause her to be swept away by the flood, and did the earth literally open it own mouth and swallowed up the water? not at all for this is symbol or metaphor expression means the spirit of lying and deception which arise up against her.

For example of water that Jesus give to those who believe is living and the Spirit of Truth, and according to the scripture in the book of John 4:14 it said, Whoever drink of the water which I give him shall never thirst, but the same water springing up to life everlasting.

And John 7:38 it said, He who believe on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly [heart] shall flow river of living water.

Jesus said, For A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh [Luke 6:45].

And in John 7:39 it tells you who the water or the living water is: But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)
We, the believers know that the Holy Ghost is the Comforter, the Spirit of truth see these chapters and verses in John 14:16-17; 16:13.

So, Revelation 12, the serpent sent a flood of water out of his mouth is referring speaking not the truth but a lying or deception word against the woman, but the serpent deception word will not stand against her for the earth [the people] help her and open it's mouth and swallowed up the water, in another word, they will stop the false accusation against her.

Again, We have to understand all of these verses shown above is not to be taken literally but as symbolic or metaphor expression which have his own meaning as I have explained it.
Let me add another demonstration of symbol or metaphor expression for example in the book of Revelation 19:15, it said, out of his mouth goes out a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations, he shall rule them with a rod of Iron.

And Revelation 1:16 it said, out of his mouth went a sharp two edged Sword ...

According to Revelation 1:16 and 19:15, the sharp sword or the sharp two edge sword is not to be taken literally sword coming out of his mouth, but the word of God is what come out of his mouth.

How I know it is the word of God, because in the book of Ephesians 6:17, the apostle Paul wrote in his letter the following: ..... take the Sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
Paul said it the sword is the word of God.

In the book of Hebrew 4:12, the author wrote, The word of God is living and powerful and sharper than any two edged Sword ....
Here again, the word of God is a Sword but more sharper than any two edged Sword.

So as you have see and read it, the the sharp Sword or sharp two edged Sword on Revelation 1:16 and 19:15 is nothing more than a symbol or metaphor which mean the word of God.

In the Old Testament in Genesis 37:9 speak of the story of Joseph and Joseph had a dream and in his dream he saw the sun and the moon and the eleven stars bowed down to him [Genesis 37:9].

Did the sun and the moon and eleven stars of the sky bowed down to him literally? not at all for all of these are symbolic.
At the end of the story it was understood the dream clearly, according to the dream Joseph will has to go by force to Egypt as a slave but later as the years past and by the grace of God he become Pharaoh's right hand before the 7 years of good and before the 7 years of famine come and when the famine did come the famine reached all over the land, the people from all over the nation came into Egypt, to Joseph and even his own family came into Egypt and all of them bow to him and bought food from him so they might live, his dream came to passed letter by letter.
There was no literal sun, moon or stars bowing down to Joseph but people of all different races came to him and bowed to him this was a symbolic or metaphor dream that came to passed in Joseph's days.

We know that God's angels encamp around the believers in Jesus days and they protected them too.

The bible give us information how God's angels follow his commands and fulfill it.
The gospel says, his angels will gather his chosen one and the scripture also said, they will have charge over them to keep them in all their ways.
The angels deliver them out of all their troubles (Psalms 34:7,17,19; 91:11,12; Matthew 24:31).

All these expression is how the Lord deliver us from all harm, and if we are going to compare it with the prediction of Jesus Christ then to be caught up in the clouds', it should be understood as: "he sent his angels to gather together his elect [his chosen] or he has raised us up together ..... in heavenly places ...." [Ephesians 2:6] which means the people will be protected and brought to a safe places or they will be deliver from all harm and destruction .

To meet the Lord in the air is to meet the Lord in his kingdom, and sit us together with him in heavenly places, is to be in his presence, being in his presence, but only the believers who are alert and watchful at all time are worthy to escape and stand before the Lord [which means: to come out safely and stand in his presence in the mountain], for he comes in his kingdom with great power and glory.

The mountain can be a holy ground and a place to stand before him and meet him in his kingdom.
Remember God's kingdom come with great power and glory and in his kingdom is where he sit in the throne of his glory [Mark 9:1; 13:26; Matthew 25:31].

Even thus God had said the kingdom is within you, Paul said the kingdom of God is not in word but in power.
Paul also adding more, the kingdom of God is joy, peace and righteousness in the holy ghost.
There in the mountain is where Jesus wants his people to flee and this place is a holy place and God's power is there, it is a safe place to be and it is where his kingdom the believers will presence his righteousness, joy and peace in the Holy Ghost, there is where they will find the deliverance of the Lord.

The angels will gather together all of those who had been alert and watchful at all time praying to the Lord, for they are worthy to escape the wrath of God and stand before him [safely] in the mountain [Ephesians 2:5,6; Luke 21:36]

The bible say, when this thing begin to happen to lift up your heads, because your salvation is at hand; in another word the kingdom of God is near [Luke 21:28,31].
Therefore, The kingdom of God is near, salvation is at hand means they are not so far to happen.
Anywhere God is or dwells or manifest, he sit in the throne of his kingdom and there in his kingdom he comes with great power and glory, and in the throne of his kingdom there is salvation / deliverance of the Lord for the people of God.

Remember Jesus used parable to explain the Kingdom of God for example:

It is compared to a grain of mustard seed that grew tall and the fowls of the air lodged in the branches.
It is compared also to leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.

Likewise, it is compared to the Lord of a vineyard who hires men to work for him and when the evening came the Lord pay the laborers their wages. The Lord pays all the workers equally.

In additional, it is compared to a man who is working for God and does not look back.

Moreover, It is compared to God cancelled your fault, he expect of you to do the same things. If you dont forgive your brothers fault from your heart neither will God forgive yours and he will deliver you to the scourgers.

Including, it is compared to a person who hear the word of Jesus Christ with a pure and good heart and understand it and receive it and keep it and bear fruit with patience and produce some one hundredfold and some sixty and some thirty [Matthews 13:31-32; 18:21-35; 20:1-14; mark 4:20; 11:25-26; Luke 8:15; 9:62; 13:18-21].

To be caught up in the cloud to meet the Lord in the air, is comparison, to be worthy to escape all these things which are to happen, and to stand before the Son of man [Matthew 21:36; Mark 9:1]..

Paul told the church the same thing: The example of the righteousness judgment of God is that you may made be worthy of his kingdom, for which you suffer.

The word "worthy" is also use again by Christ to warn the disciples to watch and pray so they can be worthy to escape and stand before the Lord.

Both verses are talking about the same thing, God wants his disciples to escape and stand before him, he wants them to be in his kingdom. for which they suffer.

Peter agree and he said: Consider that the long suffering of the Lord is salvation.
They are to consider the long suffering of the Lord; and to be worthy to escape the wrath of God, worthy of his kingdom with much suffering, and to stand before the Lord, what for? for their salvation [Mark 9:1].

Who will see who?
Again Jesus says, And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory [Mark 13:26].

He will come with the cloud and every eyes shall see him, even the men who pierced him; and all the kindreds of the earth shall wail over him. Even so. Amen [Revelation 1:7].

According to the scripture the chosen one will see his salvation, of fleeing to the mountain and be safe, but the wicked will see his wrath, destruction that will come to all of them.

Paul give us more information about the kingdom of God that comes with power, he said: When the Lord Jesus Christ be revealed from heaven with the host of his angels, at which time [He will recompense tribulation to those who press you], and he will avenge with destruction [with flaming fire] those who know not God and those who did not acknowledge the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
For they [the wicked], at the judgment day, shall be rewarded with everlasting destruction from the presence of our Lord and from the glory of his power.
[All of these things will happen] When he comes to be glorified by his saints and to perform his wonders among his faithful ones, so that our testimony concerning you may be believed in that day [see 2 Thessalonian 1:4-11; 2 Peter 3:15].

From the presence of the Lord every wicked men eyes shall see God's judgment coming upon them and after they see it then they will believed in that day the testimony of the saints.

The mountain was a place of refuge for God's chosen people to flee from the destruction of Jerusalem that was at hand.
How important it is for the chosen to flee to the mountain, why they needing to flee there?

When Moses spoke to the Lord in the mountain, the Lord told him, take off your shoes from off your feet, for the place whereon you are standing is holy ground.
If God call that mountain a holy ground what make you thinks that God can't call the mountain where his people suppose to flee a holy ground where they suppose to meet him.

Luke 21:31 says, ... when you see these things happen, know that the kingdom of God is near.
Seeing this things happening is knowing the kingdom of God is near ...

Luke 21:28 says, but when these things begin to happen have courage and lift up your heads, because your salvation is at hand ...

But woe to those who are with child, and to those who give suck in those days! for there will be great distress or great tribulation in the land, and wrath to this people.
And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and they will be taken captive to every country; and Jerusalem will be trodden under the foot of the Gentiles until the time of the Gentiles comes to an end.

All of these verses gives us the detail how the wicked people will be destroyed and others will be taken captive and Jerusalem be trodden under the foot of the Gentiles for it is God's vengeance, the wrath of God.

Remember Paul said, "For God has not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ [1 Thessalonians 5:9; 2 Thessalonians 1:8,9] .

Lets read again Luke 21:28,31, Jesus said, when this thing begin to happen to lift up your heads, because your salvation is at hand; in another word the kingdom of God is near.
The kingdom of God is near is the same as saying, salvation is at hand.
We can also said as well, seeing this things begin to happen is to know destruction is at hand for the wicked people, wrath to this people [Luke 21:20,23}.

Remember those who were present with Jesus and heard his prediction they got to live long to see Jerusalem being destroyed; the people who heard Jesus saying, "truly, I say to you, there are men who stand here who will not pass death, until they see the Son of man coming in his Kingdom", they saw it comes to passed over two thousand year ago.

Lets take a look again on Mark 9:1: . Jesus said to them, truly I say to you that there are men standing here who shall not see death until they see that the kingdom of God has come with power.

Lets read Luke 9:27, Jesus said to them: I tell you the truth, that there are men who stand here who will not taste death until they see the kingdom of God.

Luke 21:31 also speak the same thing Jesus spoke in the book of Matthew 16:28, Mark 9:1 and Luke 9:27: Even so you also, when you see these things happen, know that the Kingdom of God is near.

These people got to live to see these things happen, and they saw the kingdom of God near, and in the end they saw the kingdom of God comes with powers, they saw the Son of man coming in his kingdom.

Therefore destruction came upon the wicked people, so that everything which is written must be fulfilled.

The sign of seeing the Roman's soldiers surrounded the city of Jerusalem was an alert warning for the chosen one and only those who were watchful always and praying was worthy to escape all these things and stand before the Son of man (Luke 21:19-36).

Remember those men who stood with Jesus have been dead for more than two thousand years and they were told by Jesus Christ that they will see the Lord coming in his kingdom [Matthew 16:28].
If you don't believe this men saw Jesus Christ come in his kingdom then you are saying Jesus' word is not true and you are calling Jesus a liar.

The book of 1 Corinthians 5:9-13; and 6:9-11, Paul exhort the church: the wicked people shall not inherit the kingdom of God, and he describe the deeds of the wicked people that separate them from God and prevent them to enter into the kingdom of God.

By now you already know mountain can be a type of a safe place for his people.
As I have said before when Moses came to mountain of God, even to Horeh, God appeared to him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush and he said to Moses, do not draw near; take your shoes from off your feet, for the place whereon you are standing is holy ground.
Moses was commanded by God to take his shoes from off his feet because where he was standing was holy.
When God came down upon mount Sinai, to the very top of the mountain he called Moses up to the top of the mountain and Moses went up, ... Moses said to the Lord, the people cannot come up to mount Sinai; for you did warn us, saying set bounds about the mountain and sanctify it (Exodus 3:1-5; 19:20-23).

Here again the Lord has said to the people to set bounds about the mountain and sanctify it, but could not come up.
The mountain can be God's mountain where he set bounds and sanctify it to be a holy ground and he chose who can come up, now, how much more can God turn any mountain to a place of refuge and protection for his people, a place where all his people are allow to come up and experience God's righteousness, joy, peace in the Holy Spirit.

God did the same thing in the days of Noah, the ark rested upon the mountains of Ar'arat (Genesis 8:1-22; 3:1-15).
The same thing happen in the day of Lot, he and his family flee to the mountain.

The Mountain can be a ground where God can call it a place of refuge, secure and safety.

Therefore, God can take any mountain and sanctify it and call it a refuge, secure and safety place where he sit in his kingdom and where men and women are allow to come up boldly to the throne of his grace and find help in the time of needs, righteousness, joy, peace in the Holy Spirit.

The kingdom of God.

Jesus Christ said the kingdom of God is like men who were given money for them to exchange and make more money.
After a long time the Lord came back and took an accounting from them.
He was please with those good and reliable servants who have earned money with interest; but the idle servant who hide the money his talent was taken away and he was threw into the outer darkness; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth (Matthews 25:14-30).

This is an example of a man who never did nothing for the Lord, who has waste his time, an idler person who deny Jesus Christ, and who was embarrass to talk and confess before men that Jesus Christ is Lord and the Savior of the world.
Therefore Jesus Christ also deny him before his Father and he did not enter into the kingdom of God.

The Father from heaven turn him over to the enemies.
God gave them up to a weak mind so he can not see clearly the deliverance of the Lord.
And this man was put together with other wicked people for the Roman's Soldiers to destroyed them.

Jesus Christ said do good to all men especially to those in the house of God; do good to your enemy and bless and curse not; if your enemy hungry give him food to eat and if he thirst give him water to drink.

Jesus also said, if you take one of my little children in and you clothed his naked and you visited him in prison, then you have done it to me.

In that day the Lord will said to you come you blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom which has been prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
But to the other who is wicked Jesus Christ will said to them go away from me, you cursed, to the everlasting fire which is prepared for the adversary and his angels.
And these shall go into everlasting torment, and the righteous into eternal life (Matthews 25:31-46).

Those who were willing to obey and gave away all things for Christ sake and for the sake of the gospel were able to enter into the kingdom of God, but those who were not willing to obey neither were willing to give away all things for Christ sake and for the sake of the gospel were destroyed by the enemy.

To enter into the kingdom of God is to enter into the kingdom of heaven and believe me after they went out of Jerusalem and arrive at the mountain, all of them found joy and peace and salvation of the Lord.

Remember the kingdom of God is like the marriage's feast, like men who were given money to exchange and make money, like the ten virgin and like the end of the world.

The wall of the kingdom of God is strong and secure and no enemies can overthrown it.
The people of God is safe as long they remain in the kingdom of God.

The kingdom of heaven and the kingdom of God, are both the same thing?

If you read Mark and Luke both of them speak of the same thing.
The books of Mark say the kingdom of God but the book of Matthews say the kingdom of heaven.
For example: Matthews 19:23:

23 Jesus say to his disciples, Truly I say to you, it is difficult for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Mark 10:23:

23 Jesus says, How hard it is for those who have wealth to enter into the kingdom of God.

Luke 8:24:

24 Jesus says, How difficult it is for those who have wealth to enter into the kingdom of God.

So you can see these chapters and verses above shows the kingdom of God is also the kingdom of heaven.

The chosen one knew the end was at hand for Paul in his letter wrote: the gospel of the Kingdom have been preach to all creature under the heaven.
They heard, saw and knew the end was coming.

Jesus, in the book of Luke 21:20 he said: ..... your salvation is at hand, .... the kingdom of God is near.

Lets refresh our mind again:

When the gospel of the kingdom has been preached throughout the world as a testimony to all the nations; then the end will come.
Have courage and lift up your head because your salvation is at hand.
Whoever have patience to the end will be saved.
And those who are worthy will be able to stand before the Son of man and will be saved.
God will send his angels with a large trumpet, and they will gather his chosen from the four winds, from one end of the heaven to the other.(Matthews 24:1-51; Luke 21:1-37)..

In Matthew 24, Jesus says, immediately after the suffering of those days the sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light and the stars will fall from the sky and the powers of the universe will be shaken.
After the beginning of suffering; then the signs of the sun and the moon and the stars will appear; and the confusion and the violent disturbance that takes life out of men, because of fear of what is to come on earth and the great distress [suffering] of the nation will come too

Luke 21:25-27 it says: And there will be signs in sun and moon and stars; and on earth distress of the nations, and confusion because of the roaring of the sea; And upheaval (which mean: sudden and violent disturbance according to the American Heritage Student Dictionary) that takes life out of men, because of fear of what is to come on earth; and the powers of the universe will be shaken.

But woe to those who are with child, and to those who give suck in those days! For there will be great distress (great tribulation; great suffering) in the land, and wrath to this people [Luke 21:22,23].
Then they will see the Son of man coming in the clouds with a large army and great glory.

Matthew 24:29-31 it says: Then the sign of the Son of man will appear in the sky; and all the generations of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory.
And he will send his angels with a large trumpet, and they will gather his chosen from the four winds, from one end of the heaven to the other.

And finally Mark 13:27 it says, Then he will send his angels and gather his chosen from the four winds, form the utmost part of the earth to the utmost part of heaven.

Therefore all of these chapters and verses connect, and no doubt Jesus' warning did came to pass letter by letter two thousands year ago.

More review

Josephus in his book stated after the last apostle die around the year 66AD the war began.
Every places the Jews dwells the Roman's soldiers went there and kill many of them with the edge of the sword.

In Alexandria the Romans destroyed the Jews people that use to live there unmercifully.

In Caesarea the Jews who use to live there they were killed until the inhabitants of the Jewish people were emptied.

In Jerusalem a group of Jews who is known as Zelots revolt against their own people and those who disagree with them they murder them.

Everywhere the Jewish people lived they suffer by the hands of the Roman's soldiers before the destruction of Jerusalem.

When the Romans army surrounded the city of Jerusalem for the first time, food became hard to get within the wall of the city.
Many who try to get food at night and went into the valleys were caught and torture and crucified on the cross.
More than 500 people were killed in a day.

Woman who has baby and children they die of famine.

Because of hunger a woman kill her child and roast him for her to eat and the rest she hid it.

And those who try to escape swallowed pieces of gold hoping to take them unnoticed.
But many were caught and were cut open by the enemy to see if they have swallowed any gold.

All of this great suffering or great distress of the nations happen in those days and for 3 1/2 years [stating from 64AD to 68AD] Nero made war against Saints and he prevailed against them or overcome them [Daniel 7:21; Revelation 13:7].
Nero were destroyed by the Lord with the sword of his mouth in the year 68AD, he committed suicide [2 Thessalonians 2:8].
In the year 70AD the Roman's soldiers surrounded the city of Jerusalem for the second time, but this time the destruction was successfully, and they trodden down the city of Jerusalem under their feet for forty two months. (Josephus: the wars of the Jews II, 18:2,3,8; III, 4:1; IV, 5:3; V, 1:3,5; 10:3; 11:1,2; 12:3; 13:4; VI, 1:1; 3:4).

Seeing the Roman's soldiers killing and burning the city with fire and seeing the smoke reaching high to the sky that was the day of the Lord or the coming of the Lord bringing judgment to the Jews who rejected Jesus Christ, the smoke was seeing from far off as a sign and fulfillment of Jesus Christ's words, letter by letter.

Jesus says, And all the generations (In king James version it says, tribes) of the earth will mourn, why? Because they will see the sign of the son of man, and they will see the Son of man coming in the clouds of the sky with powers and great glory.

The sun being darkened and the moon will not give it lights and the stars will falls from the sky, are sign that means death and destruction; these words are metaphor expression that means the people will face death and destruction.

Before Jerusalem was surround by the armies, many Jews who were living in different part of the city were kill by the soldiers and their dwelling places were burn and the smoke reach higher in the sky that the moon and the stars in the sky was hidden and many people from the other side of the city saw the smoke in the sky.
Titus came with his four Legions of soldiers, without any compassion and without any mercy they came to all the city where the Jews were dwelling and kill all of them and burn their villages.

And the last city to attack was Jerusalem, when Titus arrived with his armies and surrounded Jerusalem, immediately the battle began, they attack them and it took them months to burn down the walls of the city and kill many wicked Jews with the edge of the sword, they brought down all the walls around the temple and of the city until there was no bricks standing upon another.
The smoke of fire reach to the sky so high that from a far distance the smoke was seen by many people and those who saw the sign mourned because of the wrath or destruction that have come upon them.

The people of Israel who obey Gods law were promised to have bright days (blessing).

In the Psalms 37:6 David said:

He shall bring forth thy righteousness as the Light, and thy judgment as the Noon Day.

Isaiah says:

Then shall thy light break forth as the morning then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the Noon Day (Isaiah 58:8-10).

Isaiah also says:

Thy Sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy Moon withdraw itself: for the Lord shall be thine everlasting Light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended (Isaiah 60:20).

But on the other hand the people of Israel who did not obey Gods law they face cursing.

Isaiah says:

We wait for Light, but behold obscurity; for Brightness, but we walk in darkness .we stumble at Noonday as in the night.

It was a day of disaster and destruction and everywhere was darkness and there was no light (Isaiah 59:9,10).

Amos says:

It would be a day of darkness and not lighteven very dark, and no brightness in it (Amos 5:18-20).

Amos says:

The end was come upon my people of Israel.I will cause the Sun to go down at noon, and I will Darken the earth in the clear day (Amos 8:2,9).

Ezekiel says:

They will be scattered in a cloudy and Dark day (Ezekiel 34:12.

The destruction of Egypt was known as, the day shall be darkness and the stars dark, the sun cover with cloud, the moon shall not give her light and all the light of heaven will be dark (Ezekiel 30:6-18; 32:2-15).

The destruction of Idumea was known heaven shall be dissolved, and the heaven shall be rolled together as a scroll (Isaiah 34:4-10).

Babylon destruction was known the stars of heaven shall not give light and the sun turn darkness and the Moon shall not cause her light to shine (Isaiah 13:8,10,17-21).

The sign of the Son of man will appear in the sky, a day when the sun will be darkness and the moon will not give its light and the stars will fall from the sky; and on earth distress of the nations, and confusion because of the roaring of the sea; and upheaval that take life out of men, because the fear or what is to come on earth; and the powers of universe will be shaken (Matthew 24:29; Luke 21:28; Luke 21:20,28).

Fleeing with the help of the angels

For there will be great tribulation such as has never happen from the beginning of the world until now, and never will be again (Matthew 24:21).

Lets once more review again what happen, Cestius Gallus withdrawn his soldiers and did not allow his army to take the city of Jerusalem, and because of his action of withdrawing his soldiers cause his troops their life.
Cestius Gallus' action of withdrawing his soldiers was God plan for him to clear the path for his chosen one to flee to the mountain before the destruction day of the Lord.

Josephus wrote in his book that no Christians were found in Jerusalem for they all escape.
When Titus and his army came, they destroyed the city and all the wicked people that were there.

We read in the bible the Lord plan for Lot was that he and his family flee to the mountain.
Lot because he was afraid to go to the mountain and evil overtake him and he die, Lot persist the angels not to send them there, but Lot choose a little town near by Sodom and Gomorrah, because he thoughts and said, it is a safe place to escape there, Lot beseech the angels to allow him and his family to go to a little town called Zoar because the mountain was to far for them to travel.

The angels allow them to go there, but Lot could not stay for so long in Zoar for he was afraid to live in Zoar, Lot and his family had to flee again because their life were in danger in that little town too; he went up out of Zoar for they were force to fled to the mountain and dwell in the mountain and his two daughters was with him; and he stay in a cave both he and his two daughter.

If they would have listen to the angels in the first place they would have avoid hardship and fleeing again to save their life.
When Lot and his family fled out of the city of Sodom and Gomorrah, God's angels destroyed the city of Sodom and Gomorrah.
Sodom and Gomorrah was a city where wicked people dwell and the only city that God destroy.
Other cities or other worlds where Abraham and his family dwells and where people of other nationality dwells too God did not destroyed.
God's wrath came only upon the world of Sodom and Gomorrah (Genesis 19:17-30).

According to Josephus, all the cities where the Roman's soldiers had controlled and power they slaughter the Jewish people, and the last city to be destroyed was the city of Jerusalem.

Thank God that his angels gather his Chosen one out of all the city where they dwell just like he did with Noah and Lot for being faithful and obedient to the Lord.

If those days was not shortened for the Gentiles to carry out Gods judgment just as he did in Noahs days, no flesh will be alive; but for the sake of his chosen one those day was shortened [Matthew 24:22].

Noah after he enter into the ark with his family the door of the Ark was close, the Lord cause the rain to last for forty days and forty nights and then it stop and then God made a wind to blow over the earth and the waters became calm and the water receded from the earth gradually and after the end of a 150 days the water abated.
After five month the ark rested upon the mountains of Ar'arat, And for another 3 months the water decreased gradually until Noah was able to see the tops of the mountains.
40 days more he waited and then he open the window of the Ark and sent a raven who stood flying in the air until the ground was dry, then again he sent a dove to see if the water have abated from the face of the ground, but no luck the bird came back empty, and then he waiting another seven more days and sent the bird again but this time the dove came back with a leaf, then Noah waited another seven days and sent the dove again but this time the dove did not return back to him any more.
And after one year and one month and five days of the month the water were dried up from off the earth; and after a year and two months on the twenty-seventh days of the month, the earth was dry and God spoke to Noah and told him go forth out of the ark, him and all his family and all the animals in the ark.
They came out and all the animals too and they all walk on dry land.

The same thing happen in Jesus time, God remember his chosen one, therefore, Titus and his army were allow to carry out the wrath of God until the time of the Gentiles came to an end, afterward his chosen one were able to come out from the mountain safely.

Therefore the sign of his coming was fulfilled in the year AD 70, letter by letter.

It is time that the body of Christ begin to do some research and study history about the war of the Jews.
Yes, it is time for the body of Christ to learn for themselves the history and the true story of the Jews and the end of the world that had come to pass in the year 70 AD.
Be independent and find out the true for yourselves and be not guiding neither mislead by the teaching of theory and philosophy of man.
It is time that men and women shine as light in the world and stop the mouth of the lion and bring the truth to the world.
Be the light of the world. Amen.

Here are some parable of the kingdom of heaven or the kingdom of God that Jesus Christ said to his disciples, for you to read:

  • If you cast out devils by the Spirit of God the kingdom of God has come near to them (Matthew 12:28; Luke 11:20).

  • A man who is sent and he is received, eat there and heal the sick, the kingdom of God is come near to them (Luke 10:9).

  • Man who has faith will sit down in the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 8:11).

  • The least person in the kingdom of heaven is greater and only those in power control it (Matthew 11:11-23).

  • Those who do the will of the Father in heaven will enter into the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 7:21).

  • Those who observes and teaches them is called great in the kingdom of heaven (Matthews 5:19).

  • Every scribe who is converted to the kingdom of heaven is like a man who is a householder, who brings out the new and old things from his treasures (Matthews 13:52).

  • A man who change and become like a little child shall enter into the kingdom of heaven and he who humble himself like a little child, shall be great in the kingdom of heaven (Matthews 18:3-4).

  • If a man is not born again (change ones thought and habits), he cannot see the kingdom of God (John 3:3).

  • The kingdom of God will be given to those who bears fruits (Matthew 21:43).

  • The kingdom of heaven is like a person who hear the word of Jesus Christ with a pure and good heart and understand it and receive it and keep it and bear fruit with patience and produce some one hundredfold and some sixty and some thirty (Mt 13:23; Mk 4:20; Lk 8:15).

  • The kingdom of heaven is like a gain of mustard seed, sown in the field and grow larger, than all of the herbs, and it become a tree, so that the birds of the air come and nest in its branches (Matthews 13:31-32).

  • The kingdom of heaven is like God who cancelled your fault, he expect you to do the same things. If you dont forgive your brothers fault from your heart neither will God forgive yours and he will deliver you to the scourgers (Matthews 18:21-35; mark 11:25-26).

  • A man who is working for God cannot look back if he wants to fit for the kingdom of God (Luke 9:62).

  • A person is not far from the kingdom of God if he love God with all his heart, soul, mind and might and he love his neighbor as himself. This is far more important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices (Mark 12:28-34).

  • It is much better for a man to stop stealing and harming people with his hands, neither allow his foot to take him to places where he is not suppose to be, nor allow his eyes to lust after the things of the world if he wants to enter into the kingdom of God (Mark 9:42-48).

  • The kingdom of heaven is for those who are humble or poor in pride (Matthews 5:3).

  • If you want to know where is the kingdom of God? Jesus said the kingdom of God is not of this world but the kingdom of God is within you (Luke 17:21; John 19:36).

  • Paul said the kingdom of God is not meat and drink but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit (Romans 4:17).

  • Jesus Christ has given to us the believer the keys of the kingdom of heaven, that whatsoever we bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatever we loose in earth will be loosed in heaven (Matthews 16:19).

  • Seeking first his kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all the things you need the Father in heaven will give it to you (Matthews 6:37).

  • A man who share and give to the poor will enter into the kingdom of heaven (Matthews 19:16-23).

  • Leaving everything for the sake of the kingdom of God you will receive many times more at this time and in the world to come life everlasting (Luke 18:29-30).

  • A man who works in the vineyard of the Lord will precede those who are idle into the kingdom of God (Matthews 21:28-32).

  • The kingdom of heaven is like the Lord of a vineyard who hires men to work for him and when the evening came the Lord pay the laborers their wages. The Lord pays all the workers equally (Matthews 20:1-14).
