Is Man A Living Soul or spirit?

Soul or spirit.Lets take a look in the scripture and see who is this person created by God in his image and in his likeness.
Genesis 1:26: Then God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the wild beast of the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.

Genesis 1:27: So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.”

Genesis 2:5: And all the trees of the field were not yet in the ground, and every herb of the field had not yet sprung up; for the Lord God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was no man to till the ground.

Genesis 2:6: But a powerful spring gushed out of the earth, and watered all the face of the ground.

Genesis 2:7: And the Lord God formed Adam out of the soil of the earth, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul (person).”

Here show us God created man in his image and after his likeness and God's image and likeness is never flesh, for flesh is not God's image and likeness, the image and likeness of God is the living soul.
Living soul is the same as living life or living person.
God's breath of Life was breathed into the nostrils and created inside the empty body, life and that life is what God called a living soul, man became a living soul.
Not only man is a living soul, but also he has a mind.
This mind is called: the spirit.
And what the spirit of the mind does?
The spirit of the mind create thoughts.
And what kind of thoughts the spirit of the mind create?
The spirit of the mind create: Imaginations, , Ideas, Plans, Dreams, it record and memorize things.
And where those thoughts go or are place?
All thoughts are place in the heart and from the heart it is where all thoughts come from and those thoughts can be positive or negative, perhaps carnally or spiritually.

The scripture says, in Ephesians 4:23

23: Be renew in the spirit of the mind.

The physical eyes can never see the spirit of the mind.
Man cannot see and hear another person thoughts with his canal eyes and ears.
The only way you will discern other people thoughts is through the Spirit, as it please God for his Glory and honor.

Thoughts are image pictures, words and sound that are projected for the soul to see it and discern it and records it or write it in the tablet of the heart.
Now the eyes and ears has something to do with the thoughts.
The eyes and the ears transmit those image and sound into our mind (into our thoughts), and our mind (out thoughts) reveals all of them to our soul.
And our soul through the Spirit can discern it, if it is good or evil.

Depending of what the eyes and ears has transmitted into our mind (into our thoughts) the Soul will determine if it is healthy or unhealthy for his life.

The mind (thoughts) that is stored in the tablet of the heart remind the soul of man God's word.
The soul search and select from the thoughts (the mind) the things he wants to meditate on.

The soul discern the mind (the thoughts) and if it is good and acceptable and perfect will of God then the Soul will allow to be planted in the ground of the heart, but if it is not good and acceptable and perfect will of God then the Soul will reject it before it does any harm to him.

The bible says, “the eye is the lamp of the body and if the eye is bright then your whole body is light.”
As long the eyes is bright you will be able to keep yourselves healthy, you will be able to shine as light in the middle of darkness.

This is the reason why the soul discern what the eyes and ears is transmitting into our mind (into our thoughts), to avoid bad or evil seed of the enemy.
If the eyes and ears transmit good seed into our thoughts (our mind) of the heart is because those thoughts have been discern and proven to be good and acceptable and perfect will of God, if not the soul would have reject it (Matthews 6:19-24).

If the soul knowing that it is not good, but still he ignore the warning of the Holy Spirit and the seed of tare is allow to be sown into the good soil of the heart he will be responsible of his own death.
If the soul does not do anything about it to stop those thoughts, then at the end the seed will reap death.
This is why Paul said, cast down all imaginations and every false things that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and capture every thoughts to the obedience of Christ (1 Corinthians 10:5).

The bible says that man is tempted by his own lust; he coverts and its enticed. Then when lust has conceived, it brings forth sin; and sin when it has matured, brings forth death.

James continue saying, blessing is the man who endures temptations; for when he is tested (by the devil), he shall receive the crown of life which God has promised to those who love him (those who love him obey his commandments, his word; James 1:12-15).

Lust is the fruit of Tare.
Jesus Christ said to his disciples when a man looks at a woman with lust, he has already committed adultery with her in his heart (Matthews 5:28).

Lust will provoke your soul to sin.
Your soul will be tempted, but fear not brethren God has not giving you a spirit of fear, but of power, love and sound mind to control your weaknesses and passions (1 Timothy 1:7; Galatians 5:24,25).
If you don't hearken to God's words the enemy as a roaring lion will pursue, attack and devour you (Galatians 5:24).

When a man looks at a woman, he still have control over his own mind to resist any temptation of the enemy, but if man does not control his thoughts, his strong sexual desire will overpower him and overcome him and he will surely die in his sin.

The bible says, from the heart comes evil thoughts and two of them are fornication and adultery.
Fornication and adultery is fruits of tare, they are evil thoughts (minds) and they manifest in the flesh as strong sexual desire.
A man who looks at a woman with lust in his heart has become an adulterer, because he has committed adultery with her in his heart.
The only way to control your carnal mind (carnal thoughts) and your carnal desire is by submitting yourselves to God through the Spirit (Galatians 5:24,25).

This is why it is very important to have the spirit of the mind (of the thoughts) renewing in order for the soul to be able to discern all things.
You need to renew your mind (your thoughts) daily and meditate on the fruits of the Spirit.
If you don’t think those things that are true, just, pure, lovely, honest, good report and what is virtue and what give praise to the Lord, your soul will never grow spiritually strong and in the power of his might; neither will you be able to discern between good and evil; nor will your body be transformed to the likeness of his glorious body, the body of Christ.

The soul needs to meditate (mind or think) of those things that are pleasing to God for you to grow up spiritually.
Paul says, “to be carnally minded (thoughtful) is death but to be spiritually minded (thoughtful) is life and peace (Roman 8:6).”

He was talking about the mind (thoughts) and the outward man behavior.
Paul teaches us that the transformation process come by us meditating or thinking in the law of God day and night.
After the mind (thought) is renewed then the soul will have a new mind (a new thought), the mind (thought) of Christ to discern even the deep things of God (Romans 12:2; Philippians 4:8; 2corinthians 10:4-5; Ephesians 6:17;).

Why a military soldier wear his helmet? To protect his head of being injure.
We also put on the helmet of salvation, the hope of salvation to protect us from all attack of the devil.
Those who meditate (mind) on the fruits of the Spirit will be protecting by the helmet of salvation and have life and peace.

The fruits of the Spirit gives the believers the tools we need to cast down all imagination and every false things that exalt itself against the knowledge of God and to capture every thoughts to the obedience of God.
After bearing the fruits of the Spirit, you will be able to minister to the body of Christ and bless their life.

Remember reading and thinking or meditating daily on the word of God will make your soul wise unto salvation and you will success and prosper wherever you go (Romans 12:2; Ephesians 4:23; Philippians 4:8).

The bible teaches us, the soul that present the body a living sacrifice holy and acceptable unto God and renew the spirit of the mind, and he is led by the Spirit, has put on the new man which is made in righteousness and truth holiness.
After sowing good thoughts and changing bad habits, will reap a new body that is in the likeness of Jesus Christ's body.

Once the body is quicken by the Spirit, it is no longer you that live but it is Christ who live in you, and the life which you now live in the body you will live it by the faith of the son of God who love you and gave his life for you.

What is the brain and what function does the brain has in all of these things?
The brain is the keyboard of the mind and both are connected as one.
You see the brain is keyboard of thoughts that sent signal to the body when the soul commands it.

But the brain [keyboard of the mind] as well the heart needs to be protecting daily.
It is the responsibility of the soul to protect the brain and the mind from any invaders.
If the brain and heart is not guarded or protected, then the enemy will sneak in and enter through the gate of the heart and once he take control over the brain [keyboard of the mind] and possess the spirit of the mind, your entire body and life will be jeopardize.
This is why Paul in the book of Ephesians he advises the Christians to put on the helmet of salvation.
Again In the book of Thessalonians he repeats the same message to them, he said, “For a helmet put on the hope of salvation” (Ephesians 6:17; 1Thessalonians 5:8).
The soul who is not conformed to this world of darkness and who has put on the helmet of salvation is a person ready for any battle the enemy might bring against him, this person will always triumph over life .

In the book of Joshua 1:8 it says:

8: Depart not from your mouth the word of God and meditate in his word day and night and observe to do according to all that is written therein.. don't turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may success and prosper.

Here shows whoever meditate [mind] in his word day and night to observe to do according to all that is written therein will success and prosper.

In the book of 3 John 2 it said the same thing Joshua said to the people of Israel

2: Our beloved, I pray above all things that you may prosper and be in good health, even as your soul prosper.

Now let me ask you a question, who need to prosper and be in good health?
Well, according to the scripture the poor need to prosper.

Then how the poor people prosper?
The people prosper when they submit themselves to God and they remain in Christ's word and Christ in them and whatever they ask to God he will supply all their need according to his riches in the glory of Jesus Christ.
God supplies what you really need with the alms the givers give.
God will never supply those things you don't need, but he supply those things you really need.

How does the Soul prosper?

Even thou John was writing to his belove Gaius whom he love in truth, but still Paul did not love less the church, he love all of them the same way he love Gaius.
The payer that Paul pray for his belove Gaius, for sure he would have write it to all the believers who have been watch by the blood of the Lamb, redeem from sin and living a new life, he would have wanted them to prosper and be in good health, even as their soul prosper.
You have just read that the soul prospers after he meditating in God's word day and night and do them.
John and Joshua both agree that the soul that meditates and obeys God’s law live, succeed and prosper (Proverbs 4:7-10).

In the book of Proverbs 3:1,2 it says, “My son do not forget my law; but let your heart keep my commandments; for the length of days and long life will they (the law) add to you.”
Verse 3 explains how you forget not and keep it, by writing the law in the tablets of your heart, in another way of saying this is by sowing seed of the word of God in the soil of the heart.

Inside of the heart the law is writing and it is put in the mind.
The mind takes it and opens the book of the law for the soul to see it and meditate on it.
If you keeps God’s law with patience you will gain, keeps and preserve your soul.

The scripture said, the soul of man pants after the Lord and chooses the good way and walk in it and finds rest.
He waits on him for salvation.

Jesus said to his disciples “take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and meek in my heart, and you will find rest for your soul” (Psalms 42:1; 62:5; Psalms 121:7; Proverbs 19:16; Jeremiah 6:16; Matthew 11:29; Luke 21:19).

Thank God that he also has redeemed our soul.
For the redemption of the souls is precious (Psalms 49:8,15).

God said to the people of Israel, I have set before you life and death, blessings and cursings; therefore choose life that both you and your descendants may live.
The soul chooses and according to his action he will receive his reward (Deuteronomy 30:19).
All these scriptures agree that the reward of the soul for meditating the word of God and observing the law and doing them is to succeed, prosper and have salvation.

Here is another scripture in the book of Ezekiel 18:4 it says, “the souls belong to me and the soul that sins, that soul shall die.”
For the soul to sin and die that soul has to chooses evil.

There are two selection but one you must choose, good or evil, and if you chooses good, then you shall live, but if you chooses evil, then you shall surely die in your sin.

Many people are not concern in pleasing God.
But the bible says the day will come when we will have to stand before God and give account to him of everything we have done when we were alive on earth.

In Matthews 10:28; Matthews 16:26 Jesus says, “be afraid of him who has the power to destroy your body and soul in hell.”

Jesus also says, “For how would a man be benefited, if he should gain the whole world and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?”

But the soul who obeys the law of God, his word will makes him wise to salvation through faith in Jesus Christ (2Timothy 3:15).

The wiser meditate or think about those things that are good and are blessing to the body of Christ (Philippians 4:8; Romans 12:1-2).

If the soul refuse to be led by the Spirit, Christ's seed (his word) will be unprotected and exposed for the enemy to steal it including his salvation.

Once the devil steal the seed of the word that was planted in your heart your light will be turn off.
If you don’t understand the word (the word is light) easily a deceiver can come and lie to you and lead you to a wrong path, and to your own death.
That is how the devil turns off the light of the inside of you; the light of the word of God.

The eyes must be bright so that your body may be bright too.
But if your eye is dark then your whole body will be darken.
When the eyes transmitted bad signal into the mind, and the soul let it sneak in to the heart, it will harvest darkness.
Therefore be alert of what you hear and see, discern it first before letting it pass through into your heart and then as you continue doing his will you will success and prosper .

Seed of Tare

Sin comes in many shapes, but all of them are evil and are called seed of tare.
Seed of tare are planted when the soul is not alert and watchful.
Tare cause the light of the mind and of the heart to be off, and after the light is turn off, the soul will becomes blind.
A blinded soul can’t see anything that is transmit, neither can the mind know what is going on, nor can the mind reveal a clear picture to the soul to discern it.
If the eyes see it then the eyes will transmit a clear pictures to the mind, and the mind will reveal it to the soul and the soul will discern it and take the following steps: eliminate or allowing the seed to be sow in the ground of the heart.

Who is the Sower and what the Sower sow?

According to the scripture the bible says the sower is a preacher or a teacher or anyone who preach and teach the word of God.
To sow is to preach and teach the word of God.
Seeds are words that you preach and teach and word are spirit and life and they are sowed in the soil of your heart.
The sayings that come out of your mouth are word that you keep and believe in your heart and later it produces after its kind.
The bible explains that with the heart man believe unto righteousness.
For man to believe unto righteousness someone has to come and preach and teach the word.
The bible says man can not call on him in whom he has not believe or never heard of him and man can not hear of him without a preacher.
Preacher are sent forth to preach because faith will come by hearing and hearing by the word of God and then man will believe on him and call upon him (Romans 10:10-17).

Is the Sower the Heart or the Soul?

The heart cannot be the sower because the word of God said that the heart is the soil, a tablet and a home full of rooms.
Lets prove it through the bible in Matthews 13:3-9, 18-23, 24-30, Mark 4:13-20 and Luke 8:11-15 teaches us that Jesus said to his disciples, that when the sower sow seeds in the heart of man and he does not understand it then later the enemy come and steal the seed that was sow in his heart so that he may not believe it and be saved.
Here indicate that the sower sow seeds in the heart and if the sower sow seeds in the heart then the heart can not be the sower.
Seeds is sowed in the soil, therefore the soil has to be the heart.
And the sower is the soul and the soul is a preacher or a teacher or anyone who preach or teach the gospel.

What happen when the soil doesn’t have any seed?

The soil without seed is like having no faith.
If the soil of the heart does not has seed for you to believe then you cannot receive anything.
If you take a small seed and you look at it, you will not see much but when you take that seed and you sow it in the soil of the ground, it will grow up to be a tall tree and that tree will produce abundance fruit.
All of these processes come from that small seed.
Seed are words, and those spoken words will bring forth many fruit.
Those who hear his word with a pure and good heart and understand it and keep it and believe it bear fruit with patience and produce one thirty, and one sixty, and one a hundredfold.

Another example is the world, the world is like the field.
The field has a lot of soil but if the field has rock, sidewalk and thorn then the seed that landed there will not grow and will die.
Some seed die before his time because of root of bitterness, unforgiven, doubt and other evil things that have choke it, causing the seed to fail, and your soul can't mature in the Lord.
To avoid that this thing does not happen to you, you must cast down and put far away from your life all malice and all evil things (Ephesians 4:22-32; 5:1-13).
Having malice and evil in your heart is having no love in your heart.

Even if the seed of the word of God landed in the good soil, but if it does not has water and sun to keep them growing up healthy and strong to bear good fruit, that seed shall die too.
How do I know this?
Because Paul the apostle speaking to the believers he said, “I have planted and Apollo watered; but God give the increase.”
What Paul was saying to them was that he has planted seed of the word of God in their heart and that is how they got saved, and Apollo watered it by preaching the word of God to them, but God who deserve all the honor and glory is the sun that shine in their heart and he is the only one that can increase the seed inside of their heart (1Corinthians 3:4-8).

The Lord said to you, Be careful whom you listen to.
If a man or an angel from heaven preach any other gospel to you than that which we (Jesus Christ and the apostle Paul and all those who follow Jesus Christ foot steps) have preached to you, let him be accursed (Galatians 1:8).
If you listen and receive the word of a preacher who preach another gospel than that of what you have received and believed, then the scripture says even thou the good seed has been planted in your heart, but if it has not been watering with the truth message of the gospel, the sun that keep the seed growing up healthy and strong will not be there and that seed shall absolutely die.
It is good to have seed of the word of God sown in our heart, but we also need to water it with the word of God, we need to hear the word of God daily, the truth teaching base on his word in order for us to fill our heart with living water and the Lord God will increase the seed of the word of faith in our heart.

The Heart has many rooms

We know already that the soil of the heart is where God plants his word.
We also know that the heart is the tablet where God wrote his Law and the home with many rooms where the Father, the son and the Holy Ghost dwells.
The tablet and the home with rooms and the soil are what the bible called them “the heart of men” praise God, Hallelujah! (Proverbs 3:3; John 14:23; Romans 2:15; Romans 8:9; 1Corinthians 3:16; Ephesians 3:17; Hebrews 8:10).

A house without rooms is not a house at all and having many rooms do not necessary mean it is a house.
They are what we called a place of abode or a place to abode.
A house has different rooms, but is not used for the same purpose.
For example: one room may be a bedroom; the second room may be the guest room; the third room may be the dinner room; the fourth room may be the living room; the fifth room may be a private room and so on.

Spiritually we are member of the body of Christ and together we are a building built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the cornerstone of the building, for a habitation of God through the Spirit.
Inside the building has many apartments and each apartment has rooms and the rooms are of the heart.
Again together we are the body of Christ that represent the building and each apartment inside the building represent the believer's body and inside an apartment is called home which represent the heart, and inside the home (heart) has many rooms, which is called a place to abide.
It is important to know that your heart has many rooms space.
Each rooms space is occupy with thoughts and planted words; the Father and his son and the Holy Spirit abide in the room of the heart too.
The soul is the owner of the heart who also live in the heart and he has the power to decide or allow who abide in or who may not abide in the room of the heart.

In the book of Revelation Jesus says, Behold, I stand at the door and knock (at the door of the house; here the door is the enter of the heart; where "spirit" enter; spirit enter into the rooms of the heart); if any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to him and will sup with him, and he with me.
Inside the door of the heart is where the soul live.
The soul hear his voice and open the door of his heart and let Jesus Christ in and Jesus Christ come in and sup with him and he with Jesus Christ.
Spiritually the door is the enter of the heart where God's Spirit dwells.

Who plant the seed of tare in your heart?

Matthews 13:25,26 will tell you who is he, Jesus said, “…That when the sower sow seeds in the heart of man later in the night a thief come and sow seed in the heart of man too and when the seed sprang up the tares appear.”
Here shows the thief who came in the night and is the one who sowed the seed of tares.
The thief is a false prophet, a false preacher and a false teacher. They are the one who sow tares seed in the heart of man.
Tares are evil words and all kind of evil thoughts: imagination and doubt and lie and all the lust of the world of darkness.
This is why God command us to be watchful at all time and stand firm in the faith and don't get tire in well doing, casting down imagination and every false things that exhort itself against the knowledge of God and capturing every thoughts to the obedience of Christ (2Corinthians 10:4,5).

Jesus Christ teaches us not to make treasure on earth where thief come and steal it, but to make treasure into the kingdom of Heaven where no thief can come to steal it.
Where your treasure is there also will be your heart (Luke 12:33).

Jesus also said, “treasures is in your hearts, and do not try to learn what to answer; for I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your enemies will not be able to withstand” (Luke 21:14).
Here the Lord is talking about the word that is planted in your heart will give you a mouth and wisdom to defeat the enemies.
This mouth and wisdom is the treasures he wants us to have.
Jesus did not wanted his disciples to learn what to answer because if they do learn what to answer they might have end up in a big mess perhaps endanger their own life.
Man’s wisdom is not going to help him to get out of trouble, but God's wisdom does.

When men get anxious and they worry about worldly things they end up going around in circle.
These people will never receive anything of the Lord.
Anxious, worries, concern, and being fretful are all seeds of tares and treasures of the world of darkness.
Loving worldly things is a type of tares and you become a murderers and an enemy of God (1John 2:15,16).
When men stop being anxious and stop worry and stop being concern and stop being fretful over worldly things, and they start seeking first the Kingdom of God and his Righteousness then the Lord will help them (Matthews 6:25-34).
Seeking first the kingdom of God is to think first of other and giving alms to help the poor and being kind to all people.
When you do all these things with love in your heart then you are not too far from the Kingdom of God (Malachi 3:10; Matthews 6:25-34; Luke 12:31; 1Corinthians 13:1-8).

Where do evil or good thoughts come from?

According to the bible it says, “From the heart come evil thoughts such as fornication, adultery, and etc.
All these evils come from within you and go out of you and it defiled the man.
For the mouth speaks from the fullness of the heart” (Matthews 12:34; Mark 7:15-23).

It’s from the heart that all thoughts come from and they do to man either good or evil depend what he says.
Thoughts are seeds of words and words are spirit.
Jesus Christ says to his disciple, “the word which I have spoken to you they are spirit and they are life” (John 6:63).
Jesus' word the are spirit and life but Satan's word they are spirit of death Jesus said, evil thoughts are fornication, lie, and etc ... and evil thoughts are word.
This is why Jesus exhort us to put his word first and to obey his commandments.
Jesus and his Father wants us to grow spiritual and be spiritually minded and Jesus' commandments of Love does the job.

The bible says in the book of Romans 8:4-7, “to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
For they who are after the flesh mind the things of the flesh, but they (the soul) who are after the spirit mind the things of the spirit.
To be carnal minded is an enmity against God, for it is not subject to the law of God, because it cannot be.”
You can mind spiritually things as well carnally things because both of them the soul can mind.

The bible says in James 1:5-8, A man who ask of God to ask in faith not doubting because he that doubts will not receive anything of the Lord.
For he is like the waves of sea driven by the wind and tossed and this man will not receive anything of the Lord, because a double-minded man is unstable in all his ways.
This is why Paul the apostle advise the children of God to be renewed in the spirit of their mind so they can discern what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
The spirit of the mind that is renewed will not doubt his word, will discern all thing and will do his Father's will.

In the book of 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 it say, “the weapon we use are of might of God by which we conquer rebellious strongholds.”
The weapon we use is the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; and the shield of faith is God's truth whom you believe without waving.
The bible says, the word of God is living and powerful and sharper than any twoedged sword and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart (Ephesians 6:17; Hebrews 4:12).

Rebellious strongholds or imagination and every false thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God are thoughts.
And they come from the heart and this is what you should discern and cast down.
Thoughts that exalt itself against the knowledge of God is a seed planted in the heart by the enemy (deceiver) for the carnal minded man to mind on it, but for the spiritual minded man to cast it down.

How do you cast it down?

The answer is in the word of God, in the book of Romans 12:1-2 it says, “present your body a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God by mean of reasonable service.
Do not imitate the way of this world of darkness; but be transformed by the renewing of your minds.”
What for? “That you (the soul of man) may discern what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”
By discerning every thoughts you will know if it is good or evil and once you know that it is evil then you can cast it down in Jesus Christ name.

The word of Jesus and the word of Paul the apostle both agree to: Take up your cross and carry your yoke on you and yoke are persecution and tribulation and pain and suffering for the sake of the gospel.

Take your cross or your yoke on you and follow Jesus Christ to the place of crucifixion and there present your body a living sacrifice holy and acceptable to God, by means of reasonable service.
Crucify your mortal body on the cross, crucify the work of the flesh: adultery, fornication, thief, lie, fraudulent, murdering, impurity, lasciviousness, idolatry, enmity, strife, jealousy, anger, stubbornness, seditions, heresies, envying, drunkenness, raveling, immorality, corruption, sexual intercourse with the same sex, extortion, stealing, railing and all roots of bitterness; through Jesus Christ, nail all of them on the cross in Jesus Christ name.

God's Spirit who raised our Lord Jesus Christ from the dead will also quicken your mortal body by his Spirit that dwell within you.
His Spirit will quicken your mortal body, transforming your mortal body to the likeness of his glorious body, the body of Christ Jesus that does not die but live forever (1Corinthians 5:11; 6:7-10; Galatians 5:19-21).

According to the book of Ephesians 4:22-32; 5:1-13, God's will is to lay aside all your former practice, and put on the new man, who is created by God in righteousness and true holiness.
Put away from you lying, evil word, bitterness, wrath, anger, clamoring, blasphemy, cursing, foolish words, insult, words of flattery and all malice.
Condemn all unfruitful works of darkness and expose them in the light because the light will manifest it, stay away from them and have no part with them.
Again Expose all evil things people have done in secret and have no part of it.
For the fruit of light is found in all goodness and righteousness and truth; and so you (soul) must discern that which is acceptable before our Lord.

In the book of Philippians 2:13 it says, “for it is God who inspire you with the will to do the good things, which you (soul) desire to do.”
Paul again inspire you to do the good things, he say in Philippians 4:8: “finally, my brethren, whatever is true, honest, just, pure, lovely, good report; if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, think about these things.”
Thinking about these things will gain knowledge of the weapon might of God to cast down evil thoughts that are not of God and you will be able to capture every thought to the obedience of Christ.

Lets go back to the scripture and get more information about the heart.

We know the heart is the soil where seed is planted by the sower, but the bible says another thing about the heart.
In Romans 10:8 it say, “The answer is near you, even in your mouth and in your heart, that is the word of faith, which we (the souls of man) preach.”
In the book of Mark 11:23 it say, “if you have faith in God” Faith in God’s word.
Faith in the word that comes by hearing, and hearing the word of God (Romans 10:9-17).

If you have faith in God and you shall say unto this mountain, be removed and be you cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in your heart, but shall believe that those things which you saith shall come to pass; you shall have whatsoever you saith.
Word of Faith is the saying of your mouth that was planted in your heart by you hearing, and hearing the word of God; and there is where the word of faith grows and brings forth fruit.
It is where all things become possible for you to believe in your heart.
In the heart a person can either believes or doubt, it is up to him to decide (Romans 10:8-13).

There is something that brings my attention here, let read it again, after the mountain is cast into the sea, it says, “and shall not doubt in his heart.” Interesting thing to know that with the heart man doubt not.
If man doubts not in his heart then that mean man can doubt in his heart right? Remember the bible says from the heart comes evil thoughts and doubt is evil thoughts.
"Doubt not in your heart" means man can either doubt or believe in his heart.

Man has a heart, but the heart is not the real man.
The heart mention above is a heart that flows or run rivers of living water (John 7:37).
Again the heart is a place where it flow or run rivers of living water.

There is lot of confusion with the mind and the heart.
People tend to think that with the heart man believe but with the mind man doubt.
If that is true then there is something wrong with the word that Jesus spoke to his disciples.
Jesus knew what he was talking about, "and shall not doubt in his hear, but believes ...".
The same word believe when it is absent is not believing.
Doubt is the absence of believing.
It is with the heart man shall believe and doubt not and it is with the heart man shall doubt.
For with the heart man believes unto righteousness, but he can doubt it if he want to perdition (Romans 10:10).

Matthews 12:34,35 Jesus Christ speak about the heart he said, “O generation of scorpions, how can you speak good things when you are bad? For the mouth speaks from the fullness of the heart or out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
And a good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of the heart bringeth forth evil things.”
James 3:10 it said, “out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing.”

In the Old Testament Solomon said in proverbs 18:21, “Death and Life are in the power of your tongue; and those who love it shall eat the fruits thereof.”

The mouth speak from the fullness of the heart, and out of the treasure of the heart bringeth forth evil things, from the heart comes evil thoughts.
Proverbs 18:21; Mark 7:20-23; Mark 11:23; Luke 12:34; Luke 21:14; and James 3:10, all of them agree that evil thoughts is doubt and evil treasure that come from the heart, and good thoughts is good treasure that come from the heart.

Base on the scripture, the mind is the one who create or bring up thoughts and those thoughts are seed sown in the soil of the hearts and those thoughts can be either good or evil; for the abundance of the heart the mouth speak [those thoughts].

The treasure of evil thoughts are seeds that grows unfruitful.
The treasure of good thoughts are seed that grow fruitful.
God gives us the desire of our heart when the right seed is sown.

From the heart man believe.
This is why the bible said, "Faith is the substance of things you hope for."
What you hope for? the good fruits of the heart.
And after you confess the word of faith and believe in your heart it shall come to pass, you will have it.
Your confession and your belief in Jesus Christ name will bring to pass your heart desire.

The Spirit reveals the word of God to the mind for the soul to confess and believe in his heart.
Remember the bible calls your mind, 'the spirit of the mind' (Ephesians 4:23).
The scripture says that we (our souls) have the mind of Christ to discern the deep things of God.
Those who are after the Spirit mind the things of the Spirit.
And to be spiritually minded is life and peace (Roman 8:5,6).
The mind of Christ reveals his thoughts, which is the seed of the word of God.
But the mind of the Devil reveals his thoughts, which is the seed of the word of Satan.
Spiritual things are explaining to the spiritual minded man (the soul).
The spiritual man discerns every thing, and yet no man can discern him (1Corinthians 2:9-16).
The soul who meditate and think on his word guard himself from the enemy (Philippians 4:8).
For the discerning is for those who are full age they sense exercised to discern both good and evil (Hebrews 5:14).

Before a believer mature to a full age the believer must first grow with the milk of the word of God (Hebrews 5:12-13).
The milk of the word of God will fill in him with faith to believe.
The milk of the word of God will build your up with strong faith.
The word of God is full of faith.
When you have grown up in his word, strong in the Lord and in the power of his might then you will be ready to come to the throne of his grace and ask God anything you need with faith you have in him.
But if you have not taken time to train yourself in the word to allow faith to grown in you, what is going to happen to you is when you ask God of anything you need without faith you will not receive it.
James said, "he who ask God, let him ask him in faith, not doubting.
For he who doubt is like the waves of the sea driven by the wind and tossed.
Thus let not that man suppose that he will receive anything of the Lord.
A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways" (James 1:6).

Man has a mind, and can mind fleshly thoughts or spirit thoughts, it all depend on him.
If your heart is full of malice and guile and hypocrites and envies and evil accusations then the first thing to do is to lay aside all of them and become like newborn babes, and long for the word as for pure and spiritual milk, so that you may grow to salvation by it.
This is how you tasted and found out that the Lord is good (1Peter 2:1-3).

Desire comes from the heart.
From the heart man desires those good seed to grow and bring forth fruit.
God knows our intentions by the seed sown in our heart and he gives us the desire of our heart after our desire have been base on the word of God.

Soul

The soul searches the heart, but the mind brings to remember God's word and the soul meditate on it day and night and do them.
According to the bible the man (soul) that meditates in the law (of Jesus Christ) day and night and do them shall prosper and succeed and the Lord will be with him wherever he goes (Joshua 1:7,8).
Man was a living soul, but now he is a quickening spirit with power to do good (right) and be a blessing to people's life (Deuteronomy 30:19).

After Adam sin and his soul die; God send Jesus Christ to die in our place, and he rose from the dead in order to consider our soul dead to sin, but alive to God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Remember that God told his people, “the soul that sins, that soul shall die”, but God through Jesus Christ made our soul alive (Ezekiel 18:4).

God through Jesus Christ made your soul a quickening spirit.
The bible says, "incline your ear, and come unto me, hear, and your soul shall live (if the soul shall live then that mean that the soul was once before dead and now the soul has find life again; the soul who incline his ear, and hear God's saying, and come to him, he shall live), and God make an everlasting covenant with him, even the sure mercies of David" (Isaiah 55:3)

In the old testament man needing the sacrifice blood of an animal to cover their sins, that is how far man will go, but when Jesus Christ came and took our sins and die on the cross in our place, we receive remission of sin and our dead soul became a quickening spirit.

Let read the book of Psalms 103:1-2 it said, “Bless the Lord o my soul, and forget not all his benefits.
Who forgives all your iniquities, who heal all your diseases.
Who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagles.”

Who do you think this word was given to?
Look again on Verse 1; it was given to the soul for the soul not to forget all his benefits.
And what are all his benefits that the soul should not forget?
The benefits are: Forgiveness of sin, healing of his body, redemption from destruction, to crown him with lovingkindness and tender mercies, and to satisfy his mouth with good things, so that his youth are renewed like the eagles.
Then that mean the redemption of the soul is precious.
The bibles say, “God will redeem my soul; from the power of the grave he will raise me up.
The Lord redeems the soul of his servants, and none of them (the souls) that trust in him shall be condemned” (Psalms 49:8,15; 34:32).
Thanks God that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming accursed for our sakes …etc (Galatians 3:13).

Redeemed and Restored

Restore means to bring back to existence to his original condition (something that is covering all over you and take away the beauty look of you but it is now uncover and back again to his original beauty looks).
Redeem means to set free, rescue or be saved from slavery.
Sin is like a stain, an old man and an old paint attached to you, you are slave to it, but now it is gone, you are free from sin.
Just the same way your chair is free from that old paint that was attach to it.
An old paint chair can be rescue from being destroyed. Something that was old can be restored to new again.
The old paint of a chair is removed or taken off and the new paint is put on making the chair new again.
Paul in his writing to the church of Ephesians he said to them, "Lay aside all your former practices, that is to say, the old man, which is degenerated with deceitful lusts.
And be renewed in the spirit of the mind.
Put on the new man, who is created by God in righteousness and true holiness" (Ephesians 4:22-24).
An old man who practices deceitful lusts can be change by laying aside all his former practices and putting on the new man in righteousness and true holiness.
That’s how you are new again by putting on righteousness and true holiness.
Redeemed and restored has his own meaning but we have to admit and considered that the message they give us here are the same.
The bible say that when we were in the world we were in our sin slave to it; we have on the old man attach to us, but when we came to Christ that old man has pass away or has been taken off and we became a new creature by putting on the new man.
That old man was taken off or pulls out of you.
That old man is a paint of sin that was pulls out of our life and it was replace with the new man; you the believer have put on the new man in righteousness and true holiness by a new and living way.
That’s how we clothe ourselves with Christ Jesus.
Old things have passed away and all things have become new through Christ Jesus (2Corinthians 5:17).
An old paint of a chair that is restored is past away, is also know as sin is no longer there.
How man sin is restored? By taken off the old man and putting on the new man in his original condition but better in Christ Jesus.
Just like in the beginning when God creation Adam was called good and a living soul.
Adam sin and his living soul die, but through Christ Jesus the dead soul of Adam was buried with him by baptism into death and raise up with him alive and a quickening spirit (Romans 6:1-11; 8:10,11; 1 Corinthians 15:45).

Becoming a new man does not mean that your mortal body will no longer be a mortal body; your mortal body will continue to be a mortal body; here is taking about the way you think, speak, see, hear and do things.

Before the old man use to speak and see and hear and think and do evil.
But after man was redeemed from the curse of the law, now this man become like a little child who does all things with love in his heart.
What makes man to be born again to a new man, to a new creature is the word of God.
When the word is sows in the heart it will reaps a different thoughts, Christ's thoughts; his seed change man’s thoughts and habits into a new man of righteousness and true holiness (Ephesians 4:24; 1Peter 1:23).

A new man or born again person in Northern Aramaic language that Jesus Christ spoke in his time mean to change one’s thoughts and habits.
It is the word of God that transform an old man to a new man that speaks and sees and hears and thinks and do all good things by the spirit of love.

In Psalms 120:175 David say, “Let my soul live.”
And Isaiah wrote that God said, “Incline your ear and come to me; listen to me, and your soul shall live” (Isaiah55:3)
Here the soul who did not have life and now he has it by coming to him and listening to his word.

In Ezekiel 18:4 it say, “all souls are mine; the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine; the soul that sins, it shall die.”
Here again the soul is responsible of his action and if he sin he will have to face the resurrection of judgment (St. John 5:24-30).

Matthews 16:26 Jesus says to his disciples, “For how would a man be benefits if he should gain the whole world and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?”
Jesus teaches us here that if man continues living a sinful life he will end up losing not only his body but also his soul in hell.

In Hebrews 8:12 it says that God will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will God remember no more.
Psalms 49:8-15 also says, “God will redeem my soul; from the power of the grave he will raise me up.
For the redemption of their souls is precious.”
The bible teaches us in the book of Leviticus 17:11, that the blood of the animal makes atonement for the souls.
In another word it is the blood of the animal that remove the effects of sin and restore fellowship with God God’s forgive and cast all our sins into the depths of the sea (Micah 7:19).
When Jesus came and shed his blood in the cross and at the third days rose from the dead, Jesus Christ redeemed and save our souls, therefore our souls has boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which he has made new for us through his flesh (Hebrews 10:19,20).
Therefore the soul has a way out of sin by the blood of the Lamb [Jesus Christ], by a new and living way.

Why man come to the Lord for forgiveness of sin every time he sins?

Man who sins often are not completely perfect in his love.
Whoever walk in his perfect love can not sin because God incorruptible seed is in him and he cannot sin because he is born again, born of God, born of the Spirit (1 Peter 1:23; 1 John 3:9).
A man who is a new man in Christ Jesus keep his word and he would not want to sin anymore because he walk now in his perfect love.
And according to the book of 1 John 2:5 God's word said, "whoever keeps my word, in him verily is the love of God perfected; hereby we know that we are in him."

But men can never be perfect by their own selves; this is why they need to surrender themselves to God and abide in the law of love.
If you don’t forgive your brother’s fault you are in disobedience and are sinning.
If you don’t love your brother then the love of God is not in you and you are not born of God and you have become a murderers, an adulterers and an enemy of God who abide in death.

If you do not want to do any good is because there is nothing good abiding in you (Mark 11:26; James 4:1-17; 1John 3:14,15).
This is why John said to the church, "if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his son cleanseth us from all sin.
People who has some good things to give are always fellowship one with another.
And those who don't fellowship one with another is because sin has hidden them.
And if a man sins he has to confess it to the Lord.
The scripture says, "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Whoever abideth in him sinneth not: whoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither know him.
And this person whoever he is have not passed from death to life, because if he would have abide in God's loves, he would have not sin.
He that loveth not abides in death.
If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar; for he that loveth not his brother whom he seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen.
And this commandment have we from him.
That he who loveth God do not sin (1 John 1:8,9; 3:6,14; 4:20,21; 5:).

Believe me God knows if your repented is sincere and from the heart.
After you have known God and then later you sin, for God to forgive your sins, you have to depart from it.
Loving the world and the things of the world is to reject God's love and that mean you do not belong to God.
In order for God to forgiven your sin you have to walk in his love and submit to his will.
Submit yourselves to God's law, by departing from all evil and then God will forgive all your sin.
If you doubt these words and you think all of these things are all nonsense then look what God has said..

In 2 Chronicles 7:14 it say, “If my people who are called by my name shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and will heal their land.”

These people were committing all kind of wicked things and yet God still call them my people, they were his people alright, but God did not forgive them, neither hear them nor heal their land.
There is a price to pay, they were told what to do to pay the price.
They have to show him that they want to be forgiven.
First, they have to humble themselves.
Second, they have to pray to him.
Third, they have to seek his face.
And finally they have to depart from their wicked ways, and then God will hear their prayer from heaven and will forgive their sins and heal their land (Isaiah 1:18,19).

This is the way for forgiveness of sin in the Old Testament and in the New Testament God is still speaking to us saying that we should walk in his perfect love.
If we sin Jesus Christ is our advocate with the Father and propitiation for our sins and the sins of the whole world, and if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness, but yet if a man continue sinning then the love of God is not in him and he abide in death and in darkness.
And if a man doesn’t practice righteousness does not belong to God and he is a murder who has no eternal life abiding in him (1John 1:9; 2:1-11; 3:10-15).

This is why you see in all the letters of Paul, James, Peter, John and other apostles written to the churches they refer them as canal minded or sinner.
To be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace (Romans 8:8).

Even thou they were born again, in some part of their life they sin again.
Being a new creature [a new man] is the result of reaping fruits by a new and living way.
Being a new creature is to put on the new man.
To sin is to put on again the old man.
Living a new way is to change your thoughts and habits, it is a transformation from an old man to a new man.

John wrote, whoever commits sin commits evil; for all sin is evil.
And whoever sin has not seen God neither known him.
Moreover he who commits sin is of the devil, because the devil has been a sinner from the beginning.
The scripture says, whoever is born again does not commits sin because God's seed is in him and he can not sin because he is born of God; he who love is born of God has seen and knows God.
And if we love, God abides in us and God's love is perfected in us; and by keeping God's word, in us verily is the love of God perfected; hereby we know that we are in him, and whatever we ask the Father in his name is done for us (John 15:8; 1 John 2:5; 3:4,6-10,14,18; 4:7,12).

Lets the love of God increase in you and you decrease, and lead a spiritual life and you shall never commit the lust of the flesh.
The scripture say, “Lead a spiritual life, and you shall never commit the lust of the flesh” (Galatians 5:17).
If a man doesn’t want to commit sin (the lust of the flesh) then he has to lead a spiritual life by obeying his word (Romans 6:4; Galatians 5:16; Ephesians 4:22; 1Peter 2:1-3; Hebrews 10:16-25; James 4:1-10).

Where the spirit goes after a person physically die?

The spirit of man goes to God who gave it.
Understand the spirit of man that is referring here is the breath of life.

In the book of Ecclesiastes 12:7 it says when a man die his body turn to dust and return to the earth as it was (keeping in mind that the body is useless and have no value here); and the spirit shall return to God who gave it and that spirit is the breath of life.

Don’t confuse the breath of life with the soul of man.
First when God breathed into the nostrils of man the breath of life he creates inside the body life and that life is a living soul and as long the breath of life remains in him the soul will have control over the mind and body.
Without the breath of life the soul cannot remain in the body.
If the breath of life returns back to God immediately the soul separate from the body too.
What turn on the light of the mind and keeps it on running, it is the spirit (the breath of life) while the soul keep the mind and body under control.
At the cross Jesus cry with a loud voice saying, O my Father, into thy hands i commit my spirit. He said this he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost [his spirit] and it was finished [Matthew 27:50; Mark 15:37; Luke 23:46; John 19:30].
Here Jesus spirit return back to God who gave it, and everyone who die a physical death their spirit will return back to God who gave it.

Where the soul goes and how to gain your soul?

In Matthews 27:50 and Luke 23:46 and Acts 2:25-27 and Psalms 16:10, all of these scriptures reveal where the soul goes.
At the cross after Jesus has committed his spirit to the hand of his Father, Luke wrote that Jesus’ soul (not his spirit, for his spirit was place into his Father's hand) was in Sheol and he was not left in Sheol, but he was raised from the dead, the Holy one never saw corruption.

Psalms 16:10 David referring to the Lord he said, “For thou hast left not my soul in Sheol; neither hast thou suffered they Holy One to see corruption.”

Here Jesus Christ explain that the breath of life is the one that leave the body and goes directly to his Father's hand, but the soul depend on his obedience on Christ's word may go up to heaven or may depart from his body straight to hell.

The scripture said that Jesus has the key of Death and of Sheol (Revelation 1:18).

Jesus is the holy one, true and he has the key of David; who opens and no man shuts and shuts, and no man opens (Revelation 3:7).

And God can destroy both your soul and body in hell (Matthews 10:28).

The soul can be destroyed in hell or the soul can be taken to heaven, it all depends the deeds of the soul.

In Hebrews 10:39 it says, “But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.”
Let see how the Holy bible from Ancient Eastern Manuscript say it, “we do not belong to those who draw back to perdition, but to the faith which restore our souls.”

A soul who does not listen to his word is a soul that is not living a new and living way and doesn’t has his heart sprinkled and cleansed of evil thoughts neither is the bodies washed with pure water.
This soul needs to be restored or be saved (Hebrews 10:16-39).

Understand that the soul is not the mind.
The soul is the one who get saved here, not the mind.
It is by grace that you are saved through faith; not of your doing; it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast (Ephesians 2:8,9).

After Jesus Christ save you but for some reason you sin, your soul has a chance to be restore back again to his place of position where he has been with Christ before he sin.
Again when A man receive Jesus Christ as the Lord and Saviour of his soul, his soul is saved, but if he slide and commit sin he has the chance to come back to God for forgiveness of sin and be cleanse from all unrighteousness, he has a chance to saved his soul from going to hell.
Remember God himself was the one who said, that the soul who sin that soul shall surely die (Ezekiel 18:4).
For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6:23).

Before sin mature and bring forth death the soul has a chance to come back to God and receive forgiveness of sin through Jesus Christ our Lord.
This is why the apostle St. James, a spiritual leader of the Jews said to those who sin to receive the engrafted word which is able to save your souls.

These people were not living right before God and the engrafted word makes a way for them and bring them back again to the right path of Jesus Christ.
The church knows that our spiritual leaders are watchful of our souls because in the book of Hebrews 13:17 it says, “listen to your spiritual leaders and obey them for they are watchful guardians of yours souls, as one who must give account, that they may do it with joy and not with grief, for that is unprofitable for you.”

Again James 1:21 it says, “therefore cast away all filthiness and all the multitude of evil things, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.”

And James 5:19-20 referring to what he was saying here, he says, “my brethren, if any of you (who has been wash by the blood of the lamb) do err (sin) from the way of the truth, and some one converts him from his error (sin).
Let him know that he, who converts a sinner from the error of his way, shall save his soul from death and shall wipe out a multitude of sins.”
This verses above explain clearly that a brethren who err or sin is a sinner and whoever convert him from the error of his way, shall save his soul from death and shall wipe out a multitude of sins.
If any person in the body of Christ err (sin) from the way of the truth, the engrafted word (the word of truth) is able to save their souls from death and wipe out a multitude of sins.

You want more prove, the apostle Peter said, “you will receive the reward for your faith, even the salvation of your souls” [1 Peter 1:9 ].
The reward for your souls is salvation.

The soul is also sanctified by obedience to the truth and is born again. The apostle Peter and the apostle Paul had the same situation with people in the church who wasn't doing the right thing before the Lord.
In the book of 1 Peter 1:22 it says, “let your souls be sanctified by obedience to the truth, and be filled with sincere love (here he is talking about those who have sin from the way of truth and were not filled with sincere love), so that you may love one another with a pure and perfect hearts.” What makes a pure and perfect heart is God’s love.
If you love than you are born again of incorruptible by the word of God, which lives and abides forever.
Therefore the soul of them were to be sanctified by obedience to the true and fill with sincere love, to love one another with a pure and perfect heart.

The scripture also say, “commit your soul in well doing as to a faithful creator."
Why commit your soul in well doing? because carnal desire is always in war with the soul.
Lets read the book of 1 Peter 2:11 it says, “Dear beloved, I beseech you as stranger and pilgrims, abstain from carnal desires, which war against the soul.”

God wants all souls to commit themselves in well doing as to a faithful creator and to abstain from carnal desires in order for them to live and abide forever in his love.

Your souls is the one who bring under carnal desire by submitting themselves to God.
I am very sorry for those who thought 'carnal desire war against the spirit' because now you know that 'carnal desires war against the soul', Amen.
When soul suffer according to the will of God, by your patience you will gain your soul (1Peter 4:19; Luke 21:19).
Therefore a soul may go to heaven or hell depend of his decision he made while he is still living on earth.
The carnal desire which war against the soul, the lust of the flesh has been the cause of the falling of many believers into sins, but those who has submitting themselves to God and has resist the temptation of the devil, with patience will gain their soul.

Lost, Found or Repentance and Saved

Lets look in the book of 1 Peter 2:25 it says, “For you had gone astray like sheep (in another word you have sin or you are lost), but you have now returned to the Shepherd and the Guardians of your soul.”
If you remember what Jesus Christ said about a sheep who got lost or astray, but he left the ninety and nine (they represent 99 saved Christians or member of Christ who are saved by grace though faith) and went after the one who got lost (The one who got lost is the person who disobey God’s law. The 100 sheep were saved until one decided not to follow his voice) and he seeked for the sheep who is lost (backslide) until he found it and when he found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing and when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbors, saying unto them, “rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost (backslide).
I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth (Jesus call the sheep which was lost a sinner), more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance”.

Again Jesus call the sheep that was lost a sinner whom he has found and layeth him on his shoulder, in another word a sinner that repenteth (Matthews 18:12-14; Luke 15:4-7).

Here the word agree with 1 Peter 2:25, that the sheep astray is a sinner who is now returned to the Shepherd and the Guardians of your soul (in another word, his soul is now saved with him).
Remember the word said, “for by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word or charge is sustained” and I have given you more than three witnesses and its show that the soul is the one who get lost or sin and later repented and got saved (2Corinthians 13:1).

The Spirit is a Helper

A helper for the soul is the Spirit.
And the bible teaches us that those (“spiritual minded men”) who are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God.
Being led by the Spirit is walking after the Spirit of Jesus Christ.
Jesus said "I will ask of my Father and he will give another Comforter to be with you for ever.
Even the Spirit of the truth, whom …. you know him because he abides with you and is in you.
…. the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, whom my Father will send in my name will teach you everything, and remind you of everything which I tell you.
… and will testify of me and guide you into all the truth; for he will not speak of himself, but what he hears he will speak; and he will make known to you things which are to come in the future.
He will glorify me, because he will take of my own and show it to you (John 14:16,17,26; 15:26; 16:13,14).

Jesus also said to his disciple, "I am sending you like lambs among the wolves, therefore be wise as serpents and pure as doves.
But be careful of men; for they will delivery you to the courts or bring you before government and kings for my sake, as a testimony to them and to the Gentiles.
When they delivery you up, do not worry as how or what you will speak; for it will be given to you in that very hour what you are to speak.
For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your enemies will not be able to withstand.
For it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father, which speaks though you.
You will be delivered up by your parents and brothers, and yours relatives and friends, and they will put you to death.
And you will be hated by everybody because of my name; And yet not a hair of your head will be lost.
But he that endure until the end shall live; in another word, by your patient you will gain your soul (it is the soul that at the end shall live) (Matthews 10:16-22; Luke 21:11-19).

Mind the things of the Spirit until you become spiritual minded and understand the deep things of God.
Paul teaches us that the teaching of the Spirit, thus explaining spiritual things to the spiritually minded and spiritual man discerns every thing.

You must first renew your mind by minding the things of the Spirit; thinking those things that are true, just, pure, honest, lovely, good report, and if there any virtue and praise think of it daily.
After thinking the things of the Spirit you will be able to discern what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
You will have “wisdom” to discern who is of God and who is not.
And every time you hear a voice of a preacher preaching and a teacher teaching, you will know if that voice is of the Spirit or the voice of man speaking to you, because you can discern between good and evil.

Jesus calls his sheep by his name and they hear his voice and follow him because they know his voice.
The sheep do not follow a stranger, but they run away from him, because they don't know the voice of a stranger.
And Jesus gives them eternal life and they will never perish, and no man will snatch them form his hands because his Father is the one who gave them to him and no one can snatch anything from his Father's hand. (Romans 8:4-8; 12:1-2; 1Corinthians 2:13,14; 2Corinthians 10:4-5; Philippians 4:8).

It is true the bible said, no man can snatch anything from his Father's hand neither from Jesus' hand, but remember the story of Jesus about the 100 sheep and one sheep got lost, the same with any believers, they can snatch themselves away from the hand of Jesus, and be lost if they choose to do so, but then later after they are lost it will take Jesus' followers to seek after them until they found the sheep and bring them back home where they are save again.
Man can loose their soul unless they are found and brought back to the Lord home, in another word, man can die in their sin and loose their soul if they choose not to return to the Lord home where there is salvation or choose not to be found neither to return to the Lord.
You will know the voice of Spirit when he speak to you or when he call on you because you know his word and his word remain in you and you in him, if not you will be like a branch that has die and wither and later is throw in the fire.

Who are you going to serve?

Paul remind the church that man can do either one: mind after the things of the flesh or mind after the things of the Spirit.
Man can choose who he want to serve.
Man has to make up his mind who he want to serve the Lord or the Devil, but he can not serve both.
John wrote the saying of Jesus to the church of Laodicea; Jesus said to them, "I know your works, that you are neither cold or hot; it is better to be either cold or hot.
So then because you are lukewarm and neither cold or hot, I will spue you out of my mouth" (Revelation 3:15,16).

In the book of Matthew 6:24, Jesus also said to those who lust after money and wealth, "No man can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and like the other; or he will honor one and despise the other.
You cannot serve God and mammon (wealth).
The Lord is a jealous God; he is love, but he also is a consumer fire (Exodus 20:5; Deuteronomy 4:24; Hebrews 12:28,29; John 3: 14,15; 4:16,20)
Man can be carnally minded as well spiritually minded; it is up to him (Romans 8:5-7).
Man has a mind not two minds. And this mind reveals both paths spiritually and carnally.
Man has the liberty to choose either path he wants to walk after.
Spiritual minded man chooses the right path but a carnal minded man chooses the wrong path.
Like many people do in church today, they have one foot in one path and the other foot in the other path, they are like Lukewarm, neither hot nor cold (Revelation 3:15-21).

Sinner who loves more worldly things than the creator is an adulterer, murderer and an enemy of God.
Thank God that the real man inside of you whom the Shepherd has saved is your soul and he is wise if he stay away from all evil and follow the Lord.

Restored and saved

In the book of 2 Timothy 3:15, Paul said, “and knowing that you have learned from childhood the Holy scriptures which are able to make you wise to salvation through faith in Jesus Christ.”
The apostle St. James said the same thing but in a different way, he says, “Receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.” (James 1:21).
Paul and James two witnesses who were inspire by the Spirit wrote these scriptures and both of them agree that by receiving the engrafted word we can learn the Holy Scriptures which can make us wise to salvation through faith in Jesus Christ.
That is how we are able to save our souls.
People fight and argue about the saying of the apostle St. James because they think that he wrote to the people who were saved already and that they only needing to have their mind renewed or restored.
Part is true, but not the whole true.
Don’t preach and teach part of the true, but preach and teach the whole true. If we are going to add or take away parts of the words that is written in the bible soon or late the churches will divide itself and will not stand.
This is why we have a lot of people confuse that say one thing today and another thing tomorrow.
God protect the people from confusion.

In the Old Testament God spoke to Israel his people whom he love and whom he has saved from sin, but they disobey God’s Law and because they sin God did not answer their prayer neither heal their land.
God’s people committed wicked things even thou God call them his people.
They sin and they needed to obey God’s word for God to forgive their sins and heal their land.
God didn’t hear them and their land were cursed.
The Lord God heard them not from heaven neither forgive their sins nor heal their land until they humble themselves and pray and seek his face and turn from their wicked ways (2Chronicles 7:14).

In the New Testament Jesus says to his disciples, “he who believes in the Son has eternal life; and he who does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God shall remain on him” (St. John 3:36).
Jesus also said, he who doesn't love me does not keep my word (John 14:24); And without me, he can do nothing, unless he remain in me and I with him, he will be cast out and throw into the fire to be burn (John 15:1-8).
The people whom James spoke to also error of their way and did not obeying Jesus' word, and they were lost in sin and remaining in sin until they receive with meekness the engrafted word, which save their soul [James 1:10-21].
The only way for them to be rescue and have eternal life is by departing from their wicked ways.

Now if you look in James 4:1-12 the people there have a big problem they kill and envy and strive and fight and ask God not sincerely, but ask to satisfy their lusts, the scripture said, they are an adulterers and an enemy of God.”
James continue saying to them to, “submit yourselves therefore to God.
Resist Satan, and he will flee from you.”
The next verse gives the sinners a way out.
James says, “Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, O you sinners! And purify your hearts, O you of doubtful mind! Humble yourselves and mourn; let your laughter be turned to weeping and your joy to sorrow.
Humble yourselves before the Lord and he will lift you up.”
And do not judge any man.

In the book of James 4:1-11, 1 Peter 3:10-12 and 2 Chronicles 7:14 these three books agree for God to forgiven a man sin he must first humble himself and pray and seek his face, and turn from his wicked ways; he has to draw near to him and cleanse his hands and purify his heart, his doubtful mind; also he has to mourn and weep and sorrow; and then God will hear his prayer from heaven because God hear only the prayer of a righteous man and God will lift him up and forgive his sin and heal his land.
That is the only way for man sins to be forgiven after Jesus Christ has saved him.

Today many people have problem in loving the Lord with all their heart, soul, might, and mind; they have problem of departing from their evil ways and they do not care about the consequences of their action, the sinners repent and after while they get tire of serving him, they leave him and return back into the world of lust and darkness.
And every time someone come and correct them, because of fear of going to hell they repent of their sins and their repenting is not in a sincere love.
Their salvation is a product of fear that only last for a while, like a yo-yo game, when fear has been control and the reverence of the Lord is fade away then you see them waving again.
No matter how much people preach to them, they just don't want to leave behind those things that once was a gain to them, not for the sake of Christ.
If man doesn't want to change his error of his way then he doesn't care for his life either, because if he was in concern for his life he would have done the right thing before the eyes of the Lord, but unfortunately people choose not to follow the Lord's ways because their works are evil.

The blood of Jesus saves man alright, but man has an obligation to come to him volunteer without no string if he wants to be saved.
If man makes an error he still has a chance to be restore back to his original place, back together with the family of God.
I believe any person who repented of the heart can have access to come to the Lord with boldness to ask him for life.
But the question is, is man willing to give up and forsake everything that entangle and enslave him to sin?

The church is a place where sick people [sinners] come to get healed [of their sins].
And where true and sincerely repented are accepted by God, and his people reverence the Lord by departed from all evil.
Be careful you don't fall into a game of yo-yo, it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the Living God (2 Chronicles 7:14; Isaiah 1:18,19; Hebrews 6:4-6; 10:24-31).

This is why the apostle St. James said in his letter that the wrath of man bring not the righteousness of God.
And he goes on saying, “therefore cast away all filthiness and all the multitude of evil things and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.”
Here people who have committed wrath, filthiness and all the multitude of evil things are sinners and they need to cast down all of them and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to saved their souls.
Men who are not living a Christian life nor walking after the Spirit are sinners.
Remember Jesus Christ said, “Whoever obey my word, and remain with me, and my word remain with you is the one who love me and you will never see death and whatever you ask shall be done for you.”
He also said, whoever does not obey the Son (believe not the word of Jesus) shall not see life, but the wrath of God shall remain in him (John 3:36). The apostle St. John said, “Whoever loves his brother has pass from death to live.
And whoever practice sin is of the Devil and has not seen God neither known God nor is he born again” (1John 2:15-17; 3:4-9,14-18; 4:7)

Remember to be born of God is to change thoughts and habits, to love one another in deed and in true and please God in all things.
He who love remain with Christ and his words remain with him.

Whoever convert a man from his error (sin) of his way, shall save his soul from death and shall wipe out a multitude of sins” (James 5:19,20; John 8:51; 14:21-24; 15:1-8; James 4:1-10; 1John 2:15-17; 1:3-11; 3:4-19).

Let read again this verse, “shall save his soul from death and shall wipe out a multitude of sins”
St. James was referring here to what he already wrote in the beginning of the book of St. James 1:14-15, “every man is tempted by his own lust, he covets and is enticed.
Then when lust has conceived, it brings forth sin; and sin when it has matured, bring forth death.”
Therefore James was saying the soul who lust after the flesh will conceived and bring forth sin.
But before it matured and brings forth death, man has a chance to come back and be save or restore his soul back to his place with Christ, how?.
By receiving the engrafted word.
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 6:23).
Therefore before sin mature and bring forth death man has a chance to save his soul from death by receiving the engrafted word.
Remember it is not when man brings forth death that he has a change to be forgiven of sin by God, no, no, but only when man’s lust has conceived sin he has a chance to have his sin cleanse from all his unrighteousness. You cannot change the word of God.

It is very clear that James was referring here to the souls that have committed sins and receiving with meekness the engrafted word will save the souls.
A canal man, mind the things of the world of darkness and makes wrong and evil decision, but the spiritual man, mind the things of the Spirit and is led by the Spirit of God and will make right and good decision.
The spiritual man abide in his love.
Man can mind evil or good.
The soul has the power to choose wherever direction he wants to go.

The word said whoever sin is of the devil and not of God.
The bible also said, whoever commits sin commits evil; for all sin is evil (1 John 3:4,8).
He who commits sin is of the devil because the devil has been a sinner from the beginning.”
Man must stay away from sin and away from people who are not a good example for him.
Receive the word of God and obey them and you will have eternal life.

Jesus Christ said to the religion people in his time who thoughts they were holy and sanctify, but their heart were full of lie, who lust after the things of flesh; who like to embezzle the property of widows, under pretense of making long prayer, walking in fine cloths and love to be praise by man.
Who lip honor God but their heart is far away from him.
Men who are hypocrites who take tithes and overlooked the more important matters of the law, such as justice, mercy, and trustworthiness; they preach what they can not live.
He said to them that they are serpents and offspring of scorpions who makes themselves righteousness before man; but before God is disgusting.
Jesus Christ said to those hypocrite men who looks holy and sanctify that they were from the father of accusation, the devil (Matthews 23:23-39; Mark 7:6; 12:38-40; Luke 16:15; John 8:44).

You can fool man in believing you are saints, but you can not fool God because he can see all and knows all, neither can you escape from his hands.
Therefore a man after receiving Jesus Christ as the Lord and saviour and later on he sin, the word said, he is of the devil.
He has a chance to come back to the family of God where he was once before but he has to want it from the heart and receive and obeying God's word.

Someone might says, “how can God called someone a child if he is of the devil?” Well just the same ways as a married couple whom one of them decide to cheat.
When John said, “he is of the devil”, it is understood this person is of his lover, who is not his or her legal marriage partner.
St. Paul says, “he who joins his body to a harlot is one body with her, for it is said, the two shall become one body.
And he who unities himself with our Lord becomes one with him in spirit.
And he who commits adultery sins against his own body” (1Corinthians 6:16-20).

Jesus Christ said, whoever leaves his wife without a charge of adultery and unite with another commits adultery; and he who unites with a woman thus separated commits adultery.
Another word, even if a woman is separated or reputed by her husband it does not necessary mean that she is free to become other man wife.
If she unite with another commits adultery because she is not legally divorced. Therefore it is not a legal marriage couple.
A married person who has committing adultery has a chance to come back to her legally spouse and save the marriage, but if the person does not come back and does not change his or her evil ways, as James has said, after sin has matured it bring forth death. As long she is with that other person she is his lover, but not legally her husband.
She is with him but not legally marry to him.
she is his woman, but not his legally wife.
He is her man, but not her legally husband.
In the long road if she or he does not change neither return back to his or her legally partner, their marriage will come to end.
And you will be free or divorced to become another man wife.
You will be free to become the wife of the devil.
Believe me the devil will be please to have you as his bride.

If you read the story of Hosea, the bible says God told Hosea to take a wife of whoredoms and later God told him again to take and love a woman who is found of doing evil things and an adulteress, for this was done to bring the children of Israel attention and as an example of what the children of Israel has done before the eyes of God.
God has loves them, though they has turned and have gone after other Gods, and love raising cakes.
They have committed adultery with the devil.
For they have forsaken the Lord.
They are of the devil but not yet legally of the devil.
God said to her, to the children of Israel, “you shall dwell as my wife for many days; you shall not play the harlot, and you shall not be for other men; so will I also be for you.”
But the word says they listen not and because they listen not and rejected knowledge, God told them that he will also reject them from the priesthood; seeing they have forgotten the law of God.
They continue to commit whoredom and at the end God reject them (legally divorced).

Remember today we are the brides of Christ.
The church is the woman the bride of Christ.
When Christ came into out life we became one with him in spirit.
Just like when a woman join with a man in matrimony and both of them become one.
We, the church is the new Jerusalem, the bride of Christ marry to the Lord Jesus Christ, he came into our heart and we became with him one in spirit, one in matrimony.
We became the wife of Christ.
We are spiritually married to him.
And our body has become the temple of the Holy Spirit and holy to God and it shall not be for fornication or adultery nor to lust after the things of the world (1 Corinthians 6:9-20).

The same with the soul if man continues to practice sin and if he does not change his evil ways, soon or later sin will mature and bring forth death.
The only chance the soul will have to maintain his salvation is to keep himself away from the lust of the world.
He has to stop seeing the devil and separate himself from all evil.
He has to be able and willing to submit himself to God.
He must humble himself and pray and seek God’s face and turn from his wicked way and then God will hear him from heaven and will forgive his sins and healed his land.
Another word a man's unfaithfulness or a woman's unfaithfulness will be forgiven by God when he or she changes his or hers thoughts and habit and then God will receive her or him back again into his life.

Jesus says, “the one who obey my word is the one who love me and my Father will love him and we will come to him and make a place of abode with him” (John 14:6, 21-24).
If you want to have eternal life then come back to him and love Jesus Christ, obey his word.
Jesus Christ and his Father will love you and will come to you and make a place of abode with you.

For God so love the world that he even gave his only begotten Son, so that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life (John 3:16-36).
If you believe in him, you believe in his word and if you believe in his word, you will obey his word.
Start now obeying his word and Jesus and his Father will love you and you will have eternal life.

Paul revealing more scriptures truth.

Paul wrote: We know that the Spirit bears witness to our spirit (the spirit of the mind), that we are the children of God.
And the Spirit quickens our mortal body and made our soul a quickening spirit.

Paul in his epistle wrote to the church of Corinthians saying, “The first Adam was made a living soul, but the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.”

Paul use the physical or material things of this world to explain the spiritual things to people that were carnal minded.
Paul taught them about the carnal mind and spiritual mind; he taught them about the physical body and spiritual body; he taught them about the physical eyes and the spiritual eyes; and so on….
In 1 Corinthians 15:45, the word “spirit” is written with a small “s”, indicated that Paul was not talking about the Spirit of God, but the last Adam, a quickening spirit.
The last Adam was a quickening spirit or alive spirit.
When the soul is buried with Christ that soul together with him rise up and is made alive through the Spirit.

The same with the body, you sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body.
God who has raised Jesus Christ from the dead will also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwells within you (Romans 8:11).

When people see you they see no physical changes; here the changes is from the inside, it is a spiritual transformation that flow from within you.
People will notice that something is different about you, you are not the same person you use to be before; the way you think, look at things, listen and speak in a loving, caring, kindness, gentle and peaceful way, it shows that you are children of God.
To sow a natural body is to crucify the mortal body with Christ, old things has to pass away and all things (of the inside of you) has become new through Christ Jesus.
What becomes new is the new spiritual man within you.

Man needs to be born again by changing his thoughts and habits.
Man must change his evil thoughts to God's thoughts.
Jesus said, “For from within, from the hearts of men come evil thoughts and they defile the man.”
Those evil thoughts are the one who do harm to man and it needs to be wipe out from the heart through the renewing of your mind.

People in the world cannot see a new born again body because a new born again body has nothing to do with the physical body, but by a new and living way.

Before the old man use to curse, steal, commit adultery and all kind of evil things, but the new man, the born again believers can't sin anymore because God's seed is in them.
When you look at a mirror you don’t see in the mirror a new physical body, but you see the same face, mouth, eyes, ears, arms, legs and everything else you were born with.
But the new birth of the Spirit is reveal by faith, the eyes of faith see the spiritual man clothed with Christ.

Now the people are the body of Christ and the body has many members and each member has it own part.
One part is the norse; the other part is the eyes and then the ears, the mouth, the legs, the arms and so forth.
All the members together represent Jesus Christ as the light of the world.
We are to obey him in all things just the same way he obeys his Father in all things.

God’s people are the real body of Christ.
And each child is a member of the body of Christ, spiritually and not physically because flesh and blood can not inherit the kingdom of God.
When you submit yourselves to God your spiritual body manifest toward the outside.
When you put your body under, your body God will quickening by his Spirit.
With the help of the Spirit You will be able to remove out of the way your flesh leaving a clear path for the new body to rise up and manifest outside.
A new man whot does not want to commit adultery neither wants to steal nor wants to kill, nor wants to go after carnal things nor wants to do any other wicked things because his desire is to please God in well doing.

That is how you sown a natural body and it is raised a spiritual body by a new and living way.
Now the soul cans fellowship with God just the same way Adam did with God in the beginning of creation, but man worship God in spirit and in truth.

Lets look again at 1 Corinthians 15:42 it say, “it is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption.”
Paul was talking about taking off that awful thoughts and bad habit far away from you and rise up with love in your heart.
The incorruptible seed is what change the inside of you causing you to be born again.
Peter said, "Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which live and abides for ever (1 Peter 1:23).
It change the way you talk, think, hear, and do thing.

Verse 43: “it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power.”
You know Paul wrote this epistle to let the churches knows that we are to follow his good example by bearing the burden of the weak.
In the church of those time there were people who were like baby and did not understand things that maybe for other people were clear to them.
In another word there were people who believe that eating meat that was sacrificed to the idols did not offend them spiritually, but there were other who were weak and were afraid to eat it because they thought by eating it they would sin before God.

Paul was saying here if you invite him to eat and he who is doubtful and eats, violates his beliefs; for whatever is not of faith is sin.
And if he is lost because of your indifference; if you offend him and so influence his weak conscience, you also offend Christ.
These are the people that Paul and Jesus Christ has instructed us not to be a stumbling block to them.
If they are weak in some areas and you offend one of them, you also offend Christ.
And if one of them whom Christ dies for is lost because of your indifference it will be better of that you would have not been born or put a rope on your neck and hang yourselves.
This is the same as betraying the Lord.
Judah betrays the Lord when he brought the enemies to where Jesus was for them to arrest the one whom he will kiss on his cheek.
By being a stumbling block to your brother, you have betray not only him but also the Lord, and through your indifference you have surrender him to the enemy, the devil, for him to comes and kill your brother spiritually.
Don’t mislead the little one and don’t offend say the Lord (Matthews 18:6-10; Luke 17:1-6; Romans 14: 1-23; 1Corinthians 8:1-13; 1Corinthians 10: 23-33; Colossians 2:16).

Paul himself was weak but strong in the Lord.
When Paul was tempted by the devil; he asks God to remove the thorn in his flesh, the angel of Satan who buffer him lest he should be exalted.
Three time he ask the Lord to depart from him the thorn in his flesh but the Lord say to him my grace is sufficient for you; for my strength is made perfect in weakness.
Paul for Christ’s sake and for the sake of his brother he endures all things.
Paul continue saying, “when I am physical weak, then I am spiritual strong.”
Here where God’s strength is made perfect and make a person spiritually strong.
Strong is equal as Power.
Man is raised in power when he is weak, he bear the suffering that come along with the preaching and teaching of the word of God.

Man is spiritual strong or powerful in Christ Jesus when he remain in his word and Christ in him and love his enemy in deed and true and he doesn’t mislead and offend his brethren, but he bear the suffering that come along with the preaching and teaching of the word of God (1Corinthians 12:7-10).
The word “raised” comes after you have sown endurance and suffering.
Paul believes that when a man endures and suffers for Christ’s sake you have sown in weakness and God strength is made perfect in you.
That is how you are raised in power.
There no secret in the writing of Paul, he wrote clearly for the spiritual man to understand it.
Sometime we just don’t want to see it and we come with ideas that have nothing to do with the teaching of Paul.

This is not something that is going to happen in the nearest future, no brothers, it is happening in the moment you summit yourselves to God’s word.
The seed sown in the heart can become life and light or can become death and darkness.
The seed of the word that you don’t understand the enemy (the deceiver) wills steal it from your heart (Luke 8:12).
Paul said, “How can they call on him in whom they have not believe?
Or how can they believe in him whom they have never heard?
The echoes of the preachers’ voices have gone out over all the earth, and the preachers’ words to the ends of the world …and who has believed the echoes of our voice?
So then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:14,16,17).
Remember the word that Jesus' spoke is spirit and life.
The word is “sown” in your heart by hear it, understanding it, keep it, and do them and then it will bring forth fruit .
If you do not understand the word then you will become unfruitful.
Your heart can’t believe on something you don’t understand it.
If you hear the word, but you still don't understand it, nor do you have any ideas what it does for you, then his word will be of no benefits to you.

Man = Computer

Lets compare the soul and body and mind and heart with a computer.
The computer has a hard drive and a memory with a processor, and a tower with the motherboard.
The computer also has a monitor, keyboard and a mouse.
The Holy Ghost lets compare it with the Internet Security Protection who alert you and let you know what is going on and provide detail and other information.
And the tower with the motherboard is the inside and outside of the body.
The hard drive and memory with the processor is the heart of the computer where word are written and the thoughts and sound and image picture is recorded and saved.
The memory with the processor brings to remember and also show or reveal image picture and any other thoughts in a few second and can switch from one thoughts to another or from one information to another depending of the speed of the processor.
The monitor is your eyes and the keyboard with the mouse is the input device (the commander center) where the soul select, makes, write, and sends his final decision.
But above all of these things the main one is the electrical energy.
The electrical energy is compared to the breath of life.
If the electrical energy is turn off the whole computer system will stop functioning.
The electrical energy when the power is turn off it is like saying your spirit, the breath of life has return back to God.
God gives and God take away, blessing be the name of the Lord.
God is the only one that gives life and he is the only one that can take it away.

God said to Moses to his people, "See now that I, even I, am he and there is no god besides me; I cause men to die, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal; and there is none that can escape out of my hands (Deuteronomy 32:39).
The scripture says, "It is the Lord who make men to die and makes alive; he brings down to Sheol and bring up.
The Lord makes poor and makes rich; he brings low and he also exalts.
He raises up the poor out of the dust and lifts up the needy from the dung-hill, to set them with the princes and to make them inherit the throne of glory; for the depths of the earth are protected by the Lord, and he has set the world upon them (1 Samuel 2:6-8).

God has the power to take and he has the power to give and there nothing men can do about it.
The soul has controls over the body as long the breath of life remain in him.
When a virus attack which is a type of “the lust of the world or Worldly things”, immediately the Internet Security Protection (the Holy Ghost) alert the soul with a red light signal on the monitor (eyes) to warn him that inside the computer (the body) has been attacked by a virus (problem and circumstances and sickness and disease).
Tools option will appear that will gives you (the soul) instruction (of the word of God) for the soul to follow in order to eliminate all the virus.
After the soul know what to do he can press the keys and enter or give the command for the Internet Security Protection to fight back.

And if the command is not enter or given command, it will stand there doing nothing until the command is given.
The soul has the power to give command to attack back or don't attack back, it is up to him.

But again to stop the virus inside the computer, in the hard drive (in the heart) the Internet Security Protection (Holy Ghost) has a program written and save in the memory which is issue like fire and like a hammer that break the rock (virus) in pieces and eliminated it for good.
Inside the hard drive (the heart) with the help of the Internet Security Protection the owner (the soul) will fetch in the memory and search for the program and once it is found and know how to deal with the virus then the soul (the man) will be ready to select and make his final decision, he will attack and eliminate it from the computer system for good.

The soul has the will power to choose to eliminate it or not eliminate it, the soul does what he wants to do.
This is why God gave the soul of man freedom to choose life or death, blessing or cursing.
But again the soul that sins, that soul shall die (Ezekiel 18:4; Deuteronomy 30:19).

Preach His Word

God deal with man because he love him and he does not want him to perish.
God calls many but those who are able and willing to obey his word are chosen.
And he prepare labor and send them to the field to work for the Lord, making them fisher of men, to win souls for the kingdom.
God's messenger is send to preach the word of the Lord to the sinner.
A messenger of God warn the sinner, and he (the sinner) turn not from his sin nor from his evil way, he shall die in his sins; but the messenger of God has delivered his soul (Ezekiel 3:19).

If you have been call by God and God has given you a Gift ministry, and Revelation gifts, and Power gifts, and utterance gifts operate in your life, then you have an obligation before God to go out there into the world and preach or teach the gospel and win and bring souls to the kingdom.
Don't try to run away from God because you will fail and no matter what you do and no matter where you go he is there and you can't escape from his hands.
Remember what happen to Jonah, he did not wanted to obey the Lord.
He did not wanted to go to Nineveh that great city, to preach against it; for their wickedness has come up before God.
God call Jonah and told him to go to Nineveh.
What do you think Jonah did?
This is what Jonah did, he rose to flee to Tarshish from the presence of the Lord.
So he pay his fare and board on the ship to flee from the presence of the Lord. But what did the Lord did?
He sent out a great wind in to the sea, and there was a mighty tempest in the sea , so that the ship was in danger of being broken.
When the people who were board on the ship with him found out that Jonah was fleeing from the Lord, they said to the Lord, "We beseech thee, O Lord, let us not perish for this man's life, and lay not upon us innocent blood; for thou art the Lord and hast done as it please thee.
So they took up Jonah and cast him forth into the sea; and the sea ceased from it raging.
Now the Lord has prepare a great fish, and it swallowed up Jonah and he was in the belly of the fish until he cried and told the Lord that he was willing to obey.
After God heard his prayer God commanded the fish, and it vomited out Jonah on the dry land.
Then the word of the Lord came to Jonah again and this time he obey the Lord and went to Nineveh to preach against it.
But when the people of Nineveh heard the word of the Lord they all groan and turn away from their evil way.
And God saw their work, that they have turn from their evil way; God turned away from them his fierce anger, and he did not destroy them.

God is a merciful God full of compassion.
The scripture say, “those who keep the law keep their soul and shall not die” (Proverbs 19:16).
Not only the soul shall live, but also God will preserve your soul (psalms 121:7).
It is the soul that plant and long after God and bless him and his work too (Psalms 103:1,22; 104:1; 42:1).
It is important you obey his word and do what God has call you to do.
The blood of the souls who is lost whom you did not warn them neither preach against them will fall on your head.

The spirit of the mind has a part in the body

The soul that is carnal minded has access to the natural world, access to the lust of the flesh, covetousness of the eyes and the pride of material things that bring him to his own death.
But the soul that is spiritual minded has access to the spiritual world, access to blessing and life eternal.
God’s spirit dwells in us and if our heart condemn us not then we have confidence with God and before the Lord our conscience are clear of sins (Ephesians 6:6; Colossians 3:22).

It is very important to know that the spirit of the mind has a part in the body.
James says, “as the body without the spirit is dead…”(James 2:26).
Any medical doctor can tell you that a body without the brain is dead so also the body without the heart is dead.
Doctor has discover a way to keep your body living by implanted a heart or by attaching the body to the machine, but still no one has found a way for the human body to live if the brain is removed or is dead, neither have they found a way to bring back a person if the breath of life return back to God.
It is impossible to revive a person today if the brain die and the breath of life has returned to God.
If the breath of life left for a long time forgets about it, he or she is gone.
Only God can return back the breath of life and gives life to the body again.

The brain has a mind but the mind is not the brain.
The brain is the commander center or the keyboard connecting to the computer where command is send.
The soul has power and control over the keyboard to press any keys to command and to search for any information in the hard drive (thoughts of the heart) and to command the whole computer system (all parts of the body) to submit to his will.
Medical Doctors says when a person has pass away, his brain is dead, but even thou his brain is dead, Doctor says the brain still send signal to the body when the brain is touch, the body immediately reacts to the command.
Now when man is alive and the brain (keyboard) is active only the soul has the power to control it and send signal command to any direction of body and move the body anywhere he want to go.

Again the soul can send signal command to the body and the body function, behave, and obey his will.
The mind shows thoughts of everything that is in record in heart at the soul's will.
I want you to understand that the brain as well as the mind work together to please the will of the soul.
The thoughts reside in a room but the mind release it when it is told to do so,.

The heart of man

In Mark 7:21 it speaks of evil thoughts of the heart.
And Acts 15:8 it speaks that the heart love God and you will know what is right or wrong before God by searching the heart.
Here are more chapter and verses to read:

  • The heart may become hardened (Acts 28:27).

  • Doing the will of God is from the heart (Ephesians 6:6) because it is from the heart that the seed grow fruitful and being fruitful is the will of God.

  • You can have a sincerely heart (Colossians 3:22).

  • You love with a pure heart (1Timothy 1:5; 2Timothy 2:22).

  • God can know the intents of the heart (Hebrews 4:12).
  • The word is seed and the seed is your intention. Intention is planted in the heart by the soul. God knows your intention because of the seed you have sown in the heart. Your heart can be close or far away from God, it all depend the seed you have sown in the heart (Mark 7:6).

  • Your heart could be in trouble (John 14:1,27).

  • Following God is done with all your heart (Acts 11:23).

  • The heart is purify by faith (Acts 15:9).

  • Understand with your heart (Acts 28:27).

  • Your foolish heart can be darkened (Romans 1:21).

  • The Lord reveals the thoughts of the heart (1Corinthians 4:5). Seeds of good thoughts are shown by the mind to the soul to understand it with the heart. But his foolish heart can be darkened with evil thoughts too.

  • God put his spirit in our heart (2Corinthians 1:27). God has written his law in our heart and put it in our mind. He write it in our heart because the heart is a tablet but he does not write it in our mind because the mind is not a tablet but the mind is a spirit that play or show and bring to remember the law of God to the soul for him to meditate on it and to do them.

  • Light shone in our heart (2Corinthians 4:6). How does light shone in our heart? It is shone in our heart by the seed of the word of God that is planted or written in our heart.

  • God send the Spirit of his son into our heart (Galatians 4:6). Again remember the Spirit of his son is the seed of the word of God planted or written in your heart.

  • Christ dwells in our heart by love (Ephesians 3:17). God shall keep our heart and minds through Jesus Christ (Philippians 4:7).

  • The peace of Christ governs our heart (Colossians 3:15).

  • God strengthen our heart and comfort our heart in every good word and work (1Thessalonians 3:13; 2Thessalonians 2:17).

  • The heart of the saints can be refreshed (Philemon 7).

  • The law of God is written in our heart and his law is put in our minds (Hebrews 8:10; 10:16).

  • We draw near to God with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our heart sprinkled and cleansed of evil thoughts (Hebrews 10:22).
  • Evil thoughts come from the heart and the enemy sowed it there. You purify your double minded hearts (James 4:8). A double minded heart is a heart that doubt and don’t believe. You are the soul that purifies your double minded heart by having faith in God and by planting his seed into the heart. Remember that it is with the heart that man believes.

  • The sun shine in our heart (2Peter 1:19).

  • Our heart may condemn us as well our heart may not condemn us (1John 3:20,21).

According to the scriptures above it is the heart where the law is written and store for the soul to search for it and meditate on it and do them and produce abundantly fruits of righteousness and every good thing that come from God.

Being born again and putting on the new man in righteousness and true holiness and having our mind renewed is the same as putting on incorruptible [Roman 8:11].

How about Immortality?

In the book of 2 Timothy 1:10 Paul writing to the body of Christ he said to them, "through the gospel immortality and eternal life is revealed to all man."
It is through the gospel you will know about eternal life and immortality.
Eternal life we have it right now in Christ Jesus, it is revealed to us through the gospel.
Immortality, we put it on, our mortal body put on righteousness, holiness, love, peace, mercy, and so on .... and refuse and never put on the lusts of the flesh.
In another word immortality is a transformation during and after practicing the fruit of the Spirit.

The word said that this mortal body must put on immortality, how?.

First a man must die with Christ and be buried with him in baptism into death and then the Spirit who has raised the Lord Jesus Christ from the dead by the glory of the Father, will also rise man with Christ through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised Christ from the dead.

After he has risen from the dead and put on the new man created by God in righteousness and true holiness, then he must submit his mortal body to God to please him in all things and bring forth fruit, and God who has raised Jesus Christ from the dead will also quicken his mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwells in him, his mortal body will changed or transformed to the likeness of Christ glorious body according to his mighty power, this is how a mortal put on immortality.

The dead in Christ must be risen with Christ and be born again of incorruptible seed, by the word of God.
This is how a sinner man is saved and born again after man has put on incorruptible seed.
A sinner's sin is forgiven and lives.

The King James Version, the scripture said, "But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price."

George M. Lamsa bible translation, the scripture said, "But adorn yourselves by the spiritual man within you, with meek pride which is incorruptible and an ornament which is rich in the sight of God [1 Peter 3:4]."

The inner man or the spiritual man is born again of incorruptible seed by the word of God.
Paul said, "... the dead shall be raised incorruptible."
For this corruptible must put on incorruptible.
Paul wrote the same things Peter wrote to the church, Peter said, "Being born again, not of corruptible seed [that are dead], but of incorruptible [seed], by the word of God, which lives and abides for ever [1 Peter 1:23].
The incorruptible that you put on is the seed of the word of God which live and abides for ever.
The inner man is born again and is adorn with meek pride which is incorruptible and an ornament which is rich in the sight of God.
The soul is born again and is alive, but his mortal body must change by submitting his fleshly body to God and never commit the lusts of the flesh and lead a spiritual life; you must practice the fruit of the Spirit and continue to live in the Spirit and surrender to the Spirit and then the scripture will comes to pass the saying, Death is swallowed up in victory (1Corinthians 15:53-55; Galatians 5:22-25; Philippians 3:21).

The word "Death" that is swallowed up, has nothing to do with your physical death, but death that come after sin has mature.
After sin has mature it will separate man from God forever.
Here Paul is referring that when we have put on incorruptible and immortality then Death is swallowed up in victory.

Now when Paul speaks about "the dead in Christ" here he is talking about those who had already die with Christ and had been buried with him in baptism.
So when the scripture says, this corruptible must put on incorruptible he is talking about the man of the inside that must die with Christ and rise up with him in righteousness and true holiness.
As man continue walking in that light of life, God's Spirit will quicken his mortal body.
This quickening means our body will be made alive or our body will put on immortality by the Spirit.
Immortality is holy and live forever.

In those days Paul taught to the Christian that they will be change.
This mortal body must put on immortality.
You are the one who has to present your mortal body a living sacrifice holy and acceptable unto God daily, you are the one who crucify your flesh daily and pull off from your mortal body all carnal desire daily, if not your mortal body will never change; you will never put on immortality.
You must live a new and living way.

Taken off the old man by laying aside all former practice which is degenerated with deceitful lusts and put on the new man, created by God in righteousness and true holiness is the same as saying being born again of incorruptible seed or put on incorruptible.
A man who has being born again of incorruptible seed must continue to obey and submit his fleshly body to God, his mortal body must be under and out of the way daily in order for him to practice the fruit of the Spirit and then his mortal body will changed.

Allow me to repeat it all over again a man must take off the old man and must put on the new man in righteousness and true holiness which is incorruptible, another word he must die with Christ and be risen with Christ and be alive with him.
And then he must change his mortal body to a spiritual body that is holy and acceptable unto God and bring forth fruit of the Spirit continually, that is how a man's fleshly body is transformed to the likeness of Christ glorious body.

The soul must put off all works of the flesh: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, foul conversation and don't lie and put away the old life with all it practices; and put on the new life after the pattern in which it was originally created.
Moreover, as elected of God, holy and beloved, put on the fruit of the Spirit which is: joy, peace, love, faith, self-control, righteousness, goodness, power, mercy, kindness, gentleness, humbleness of mind, meekness, patience, forbearing one another and forgiving one another, above all of them love hang the Law and the Prophets because it is the bond of perfection [Matthew 22:40].

These fruit of the Spirit can help strengthen a person to continue to lead a spiritual life and through the Spirit the Lord will quicken or transformed his poor mortal body to the likeness of Christ glorious body; for Christ glorious body is immortality (1 Corinthians 15:53; Ephesians 4: 22,23).

Crucifying your flesh daily and never imitate the way of this world of darkness.
Renew your minds and cast down all evil thoughts and sin no more, and once you have done all of these things, the right thing before God, then the changing will occur (Romans 12:1,2; Romans 12:1,2; 2 Corinthians 10:4,5).
A person who lead a spiritual life sin not, nor will he fulfill the lusts of the flesh because Christ seed is in him and he can not sin because he is born of the Spirit.

Meditate on his word day and night and do them and as you continue to be led by the Spirit you will never fulfill the lusts of the flesh.
Walk in his love for all things are possible to him that believe.
Changes is possible if the Spirit of God is in you.

A man who has put on immortality is an example to the believers, in behavior, in word, in faith, in purity, in peace, in righteousness, and in love. The body transformation is through the Spirit, and it is through the Spirit you have power and self control to deal with the fair of life wisely, with ease, with peace, with love and with patience.

A mortal body that put on immortality had dressed himself with love, peace, faith, joy, kindness, goodness, honest, gentleness, meekness, true, just, good report, pure, righteousness, compassion, mercy, power and enjoy serving other and will die for the sake of the gospel, and for the sake of Christ and even for the sake of the brethren.

Remember this change has nothing to do with flesh because the scripture says, flesh and blood shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
Immortality happen during and after you submit to God and present your mortal body as a living sacrifice holy and acceptable unto God [the flesh must be under and out of the way] by practicing the fruit of the Spirit.
The word "to put on", is something that your body wear and it can be literally or spiritually it all depend which one you put on.

An example of wearing something literally can be seen when a person wake up early in the morning and put on his pants, shirts, socks, shoes and other material things to keep himself warm and no one will see his naked.

An example of wearing something spiritually, is in the scripture, If we have been baptized with Christ then we have been clothed with Christ [Galatians 3:27].

Romans 13:14 says, clothe yourselves with our Lord Jesus Christ, and disregard the lusts of the flesh.

Revelation 16:15 says, Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

Colossians Chapter 3:12-15 says, Therefore as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on mercy, kindness, gentleness, humbleness of mind, meekness, patience; forbearing one another, and forgiving one another; and if any one has a complaint against his fellow man, just as Christ forgave you, so should you also forgive.
And with all these things have love, which is the bond of perfection. And let the peace of Christ govern your hearts; for that end, you are called in one body; and be thankful to Christ; ...

Ephesians 6:11-13 says, Put on the whole amour of God so you can stand against the wiles of the devil and being prepare you shall prevail .....

Lead a spiritual life and continue in the practicing of the fruit of the Spirit and then you had changed [taken off] your mortal clothes and had put on immortality clothes.

Allow me one more time to repeat this again in another way, Immortality is a transformation during and after practicing the fruit of the Spirit which is life.
A man who put on immortality is a man who know how to face trials and temptations with joy in his heart, he is always smiling because he knows that the fight of faith have been won through Christ Jesus.

Circumstances can come, but can never stand in a man way, because God's love has been pour into his heart by the Spirit, and love cover multitude of sins and it help him to fulfill the law of God.
A mortal body after it has been under and out of the way, man will be able to please God and do the right thing and continue to lead a spiritual life, his mortal body then will change to a glorious and victorious one.

To put on the following:

Putting on the helmet of God.
Clothes yourselves with Christ.
Putting on the new man, who is created by God in righteousness and true holiness.
Putting on the armor of God and salvation.
Taking the sword of the spirit.
Putting on the breastplate of faith and love.
Putting on the hope of salvation; and so on.

To put on means to change, for example:

To change your bad habit
To change your negative thinking
To change your evil communication
To change the way you see all things
To change the way you hear
To change your action
To change your evil ways; and so on.

Crucifying your mortal body is the same as dying to sin.
Be ready to be a vessel of God for his glory and for his pleasure.

The word of God says, “It is not I who live, but Christ who lives in me; and the life which now I live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me” (Luke 21:1-38; Galatians 2:20; 1Thessalonians 5:1-8; 2Thessalonians 2:1-8).

Your corruptible ways of living must come to an end and your cloth of mortal must change to immortality, and then you shall see far off and have access to enter into the kingdom of God.
Thanks God for revealing eternal life [incorruptible] and immortality through the gospel and for giving us the victory through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

The soul is the real man

The bible said, “the people will come and sing…and shall be happy, because of the goodness of the Lord… and their soul shall be like a watered garden; and they shall not lack any more” (Isaiah 57:11).
We also can read in the New Testament where it says, “out of your belly or out of your heart shall flow river of living water” (St. John 7:37, 38).
This indicates that the Spirit of God and soul both has a connection with the water. Wow this is a great news?
The soul is like a watered garden and the Spirit of God is the river of living water that flow from within you.
In another verse Jesus Christ says, "… the same water which I give you shall become in you a well of water springing up to life everlasting (John 4:14).
A river of living water come out of your heart, but the watered garden is the soul.
The Spirit will come to abide in the heart and will turn the souls who is a water garden into a river of living water; a well of water springing up to life everlasting.
It is important that you keep on winning or converting many souls with the word of God, so God will deliver them from the power of darkness to the kingdom of his beloved Son.
The soul that return back to him will have eternal life.

According to David in the book of Psalms 19:7, he said, “the law of God is perfect converting the soul.”
And Solomon in the book of Proverbs 11:30 he said, “…He that winneth souls is wise.”
So it is the soul who is converted and man win them for God.
And not only the soul is converted but according to Peter the soul is a righteous souls (2Peter 2:8).
And it is through Christ Jesus that you have life and Christ's life has power over Death and Sheol.
Jesus Christ has overcome the world; and that is how the souls should walk daily.
Praise the Lord God, Hallelujah, Glory to God.

The bible also teach us that the law was giving to God’s people for them to find health, bless the work of their hands, to have length of days and long life.
But to possess them, they were told to hearken to the voice of God and depart not their eyes from his word and keep his law in their heart and then the blessing will come on them and overtake them (Deuteronomy 28:1-2; Joshua 1:7-9; Proverb 3:1-2; 4:20-22; and 3John2).
The blessing belongs to those who are able and willing, who obey his voice without disputing and without doubting thoughts and without questioning the Lord.

I am going to give you another scripture that will reveal the man inside of you.
In Luke 12:16-21, Jesus told a story about a rich man.
This is what the rich man said, “And I will say to my soul, Soul, you have many good things stored up for many years; rest, eat, drink, and be happy.”

Here we see the word “soul” written with a small letter “s” and then again “Soul” with capital letter “S” and both are the same person.
Now Jesus in those time spoke Northern Aramaic language and the word “soul” that Jesus spoke is pronounce “Naf-sha” (English-Aramaic Concordance to The modern New Testament from the Aramaic by George M. Lamsa, complied and Edited by Daniel Jon Mahar) which mean “life, breath, self.”
And the word “self” should have been replaced with the word “soul” that has the small letter “s” in verse 19.
Therefore the word “Naf-sha” that Jesus spoke in this story in verse 19 should have been translated like this, “And I will say to myself, Soul, you have many good things store up for many years; rest, eat, drink, and be happy.”
Verse 19 agree with the book of Genesis 1:26-27 and Genesis 2:7 and Jeremiah 38:16 and many other scriptures that state the living soul created by God’s breath of life is the real man inside of you, and the soul is responsible for the good and evil deeds he has done.

In 1 King 17:12-22, it tell us a story of a woman who had a son and her son fell sick and his sickness was so sore that there were no breath left on him and he die.
The scripture says, that when Elijah stretched himself upon the boy three times and cried to the Lord and said, "O Lord my God, let this boy's soul return to him again."
God heard the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the boy returned into him again, and he revived.
Here it show that the body was dead, but when the soul return to him again (the real man) the body revived.
Therefore the soul of the boy is the inner man who enter into his empty body and revived again according to the scripture.

God has created in us “soul” with his breath of life.
In Jeremiah 38:16 it says, “As the Lord lives, who create or made soul in us….”
Here also mention that God create soul in us.
Man became a living soul in the image of God and there is no question about it.

The same situation happen to a man named jairus, a leader of the synagogues, he besought the Lord Jesus Christ to enter into his house.
For he has an only daughter about twelve years old, and she was near death.
Jesus went with him and when he arrive to his house he found the child dead, but he held her by her hand and called her and said, "Little girl, rise."
And her spirit returned, and she got up immediately; and he commanded to give her something to eat.
And her parents were amazed; but he warned them not to tell any man what had happened.

The bible say, "Her spirit returned, and she got up immediately."
I could hear someone saying, you see her spirit returned to her and not her soul.
You know you are not completely correct.
The bible teaches us that the spirit is the one who returned back to God who gave it and that spirit is the breath of life.
But the dictionary and the concordance of King James and the Greek language explain the spirit is: breath, soul, Hoyly Spirit and so on. But remember that when God created man from the dust of the ground, that body was only an empty body with no live in it until the breath of life came in and then man became a living soul.
No man can see the soul because the soul is a spirit just the same as the spirit of the mind.
But here is talking about the spirit or the breath of life.
For a child to live again that child spirit or breath of life has to come back again into his body.
When the breath of life or spirit return, the soul return along with him.
You see for the empty body to come alive the breath of life (spirit) has to return back and enter the empty body and then his soul will come back again too, because both of them make the body alive.
Both, the soul and the spirit can leave or return into the body, that is how man's body revive. The spirit and soul leave the body, the spirit return to God who gave it, but the soul depart to his eternal place or to his eternal destination [heaven or hell].

The book of Hebrews 4:12 it says, the word of God is living and powerful than any twoedged sword, piecing even to the point of division between soul and spirit ...... and is a discerner of the thoughts and the intents of the hearts.
The spirit that is mentioned here it is not talking about the Breath of Life, but the spirit of the mind, the spirit is the mind that reveal thoughts from the heart and man thinks or meditates on it.

Proverbs 23:7 it says, for as he thinketh in his heart, so is he; ...
Man is a soul who think thoughts in his heart.

God sees all things, and in the book of Revelation 2:23, it says, ....I am he who searches the minds and hearts; and I will give to everyone of you according to your works.

The word of God separate the spirit and soul and they are not the same thing.
This is why when men die their souls separate themselves from the body and pass on to his eternal destination.

Now the spirit that Jesus gave up into the hands of his Father was not the mind but the breath of life.
When Jesus was on the cross and committed his spirit into the hands of his Father and he gave up his ghost (breathed his last); the bible says his soul went to Hell or Sheol, but the scripture also tell us that his Father never left his Son's soul in Hell or in Sheol, neither suffer his Son to see corruption because Jesus was raise from the dead (Act 3:37).

There is another story of a woman in the bible and she was rich and because she was kind to the prophet Elisha, the man of God pray to the Lord God and ask a son for this woman who never had a child and The Lord heard his prayer and she was with a child.
But it happen after the child has grown up and he was in field with his father, and his say to his father, "oh my head, my head" and his servant took his child back to his mother and on her knees the child died and she took him and laid him on the bed of the prophet and shut the door upon him and went out looking for the prophet.

When the prophet saw her from far off, he send his disciple to meet her and to ask her, is it well with her and with her husband and with her child?
But the woman told his disciple, "it is well"; she told not to his disciple about her child until she got where the prophet was and there she caught hold of his feet because her "soul" was in bitter anguish; and the Lord has hidden it from him and did not told him.
When the prophet heard what have happen to her child he call for Gehazi send him to where the child was and gave him his staff to place it upon the face of the child.
And the woman of the child said, "As the Lord lives and as your "soul" lives, I will not leave you."

And he arose and followed her.
When the prophet was come to the house, behold the child was dead and lying upon his bed.
The prophet went in therefore and shut the door upon the two of them, and prayed unto the Lord.
And he went up and lay upon the child and put his mouth upon his mouth, and his eyes upon his eyes, and his hands upon his hands; and he stretched himself upon him, and the flesh of the child became warm.
Then he returned, and walked to and fro in the house; and went up and stretched himself upon him; and the child sneezed seven times, and the child opened his eyes.
And his mother was called to come to him and when she came to him, he said to her, "take up your child" (1 King 4:1-37)

Here the story of this rich woman tell us that her "soul" was in bitter anguish.
The soul was with pain and suffering.
The soul can be in pain and suffer, but also can rejoice and be happy.
The soul of those who has been lost in hell are in pain and are suffering.
But the soul of those who are in heaven are rejoicing and very happy.
Look what the woman said to the prophet of God, "As the Lord lives and as your "soul" lives …"
The Lord lives and as your "soul" lives means that the Lord is a God who lives just like the soul lives too.
Jeremiah 38:16 witness what this woman had just said, the scripture says, “As the Lord lives, who create or made soul in us…”
Man became a living soul in the image of God, and your souls lives just the same way the Lord lives and there is no question about it.

When God formed Adam out of the soil of the earth that was not what God created in his own image, the body was just a formed he created.
God’s image is not a fleshly body formed out of the soil of the earth, but life and that life is a living soul, the real man of the inside.

People will say, “wait a minute, God is a spirit” and I will respond, “no doubt about it, yes he is, and?”
You have to understand when God said, let us make man in our image and our likeness, the process of creation began, from the soil of the ground he made an empty body and this empty body [zero life] does not come closer who God really is, but it was when God breathed the breath of life into the nostrils inside that empty body life was created by God in his image and in his likeness, he created life because God is life and he is not a dead God, and that image of God that he created in his likeness was the living soul.
People remember the concordance of the King James Version and of the Greek language says "spirit" is: Soul, Breath Of Life, Holy Spirit, mind and so on.
The soul is a spirit and no man can see another man soul.
Therefore the mind, the breath of life, and the soul are spirit.
And as long the breath of life remain inside the body the living soul will also remain in it taking charge of the mind.

The scripture says when your body die your body return back to the dust, back to the earth from where it was taken.
Why the fleshly body does not enter into heaven because the scripture says that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God (1Corinthians 15:50).
Therefore, all things that move on the water, that move on the ground and fly in the air he called all of them living creatures, but the man whom God has created, he called him a living soul [a living person].
God did not called all his living creatures including the man a living minds or living brains, no, no.
God called them by their name.

Let refresh our mind and feed ourselves with the word of God.
In 1 Thessalonians 5:23 Paul says to the church, “that your spirit and soul and body be preserved without blemish to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Here "your spirit and soul" are apart, and "your spirit" Paul is referring to the mind because the mind is where man has problem dealing with.
When you look in the writing of Paul, you will notice in his letter that in his exhortation to the church was more about the mind and the flesh and he exhort the church to present their body a living sacrifice .... and to be transformed by the renewing of the mind.
Paul in other occasion wrote a letter to the church saying to them, cast down all imagination and every false thing that exalt itself against the knowledge of God and capture every thoughts to the obedience of Christ.
Paul again wrote another letter to the church saying to them to be carnally minded is death but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
And he continue saying that God is the one who will keep your mind and heart through Christ Jesus.
In addition he wrote another letter saying, whatever is true, just, pure, lovely, honest, good report, is there any virtue and if there is any praise you think of these things.
What's more he wrote, that every man should have the mind of Christ Jesus.
All this chapters and verses shows the people did have a lot of problem with their fleshly body and with their carnal mind and this is why Paul exhort them to have the body and the spirit of the mind preserved without blemish until the coming of the Lord.

But people tend to believe the spirit that is mentioned 1 Thessalonians 5:23 is the inner man of the inside of you.
This information they base it according to 1 Peter 3:4 which says, “Let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible.”

According to the Holy bible from Ancient Eastern Manuscripts it says like this, “But adorn yourselves with the spiritual man within you, with meek pride which is incorruptible and an ornament which is rich in the sight of God.”
Here show the inner man is born of incorruptible seed by the word of God, but not necessary mean the inner man is the spirit.

1 Peter 3:4, does not really tell us that the heart is the spiritual man, the scripture is just saying the spiritual man is in your heart.
The heart is just a home with many rooms where the soul dwell and the Father, the son and the Holy Spirit dwells too.
The soul dwell within you, in your heart because the soul is the owner of the heart.
The hidden man or spiritual man is the soul who is created by God in righteousness and true holiness.
Remember again the heart is the soil, and a tablet and a home with many rooms where the Father, his Son and Holy Ghost dwells with the owner of the heart, the soul.

Ezekiel said, "A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh."
And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them [Ezekiel 36:36-27}.

Look on Jeremiah 31:33 it said, "But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people."

It is a heart of flesh that God will give to man and God's new spirit he will put withing him.
Again it is a fleshly heart and not a spiritual heart that God will give to man and in this fleshly heart is where God will put his new spirit.

And Jesus Christ never mentions in any of his story or in any of his parable that the [fleshly] heart is the real man of the inside of you, on contrary he said the soil, the tablet, the room is the [fleshly] heart.
Jesus talking about the soul he said, be not afraid of those who can kill your body but can't kill your soul, then he continue saying to them, but be afraid of him who can destroyed both your body and soul in hell (Matthew 10:28).
The soul is the one who has the responsibility to clean and take all the garbage out of the heart, and the consequence of not doing so will be destruction of both of the body and soul in hell.

The soul needs to cast down all imagination and every false things that exalt itself against the knowledge of God, out of his heart.
The soul clean all his rooms and he keepeth (guards) of his home, he guards his house day and night (1 John 5:18).
The soul guard his heart of every bad seed sown in the heart (1Corinthians 2:13-16; Ephesians 4:24).
If you read the Old Testament and the New Testament you will find many scriptures that agree and witness that the soul is the person who is responsible of all the decision he makes and he must give an account to God for every things he has done with his body when he was here on earth (2 Corinthians 5:10).

All souls are mine; the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine; the soul that sins, that soul shall die” (Ezekiel 18:4).
And in the Old Testament the blood of an animal makes atonement for the soul.
The atonement was made for the soul in order to pay the penalty of a fault.
If the soul sin the only way for God to forgive his sin or fault will be through the blood of an animal and that was the only way for him to make an atonement for his soul.
In Leviticus 17:11 it says, “I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.”

According to the Old Testament Light by George M. Lamsa, and Scriptural Commentary base on the Aramaic of the Ancient Peshitta text the word “Naphsha” is translated as, a living person, breath and soul, and the “soul” who is life is subject to death and resurrection.
Therefore the living soul is a living person the real man of the inside of you that is subject to death and resurrection.
The soul is the one who sin and die and the blood of an animal maketh an atonement for the soul in order for God to forgive him.

According to David in the book of Psalms 19:7, he said, “the law of God is perfect converting the soul; the testimony of the Lord is trustworthy, making wise the young men.”
And Solomon in the book of Proverbs 11:30 he said, “…He that winneth souls is wise.”
Man sin and die spiritually, but according to the Old Testament the law of the Lord it says, the blood of an animal maketh an atonement for the soul, the blood of an animal was the only way out for the people of Israel to receive forgiveness of sin and to cleanse them from all their unrighteousness.
The blood of the animal wash away the sin.
Today, the New Testament believers is wash by the blood of the Lamb Jesus Christ and through Christ Jesus, man's soul has become a quickening spirit, the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus (Mark 7:21-23; 2 Peter 2:8).

If you are going to get upset then get upset with God because he was the one who said: man became a living soul; the soul that sin, that soul shall die; and God's law convert the soul; he that win soul is wise; his soul shall be saved from death and shall wipes out a multitude of sin; receive the engrafted word which is able to save his soul; God redeem his soul from the power of the grave, God will raise his soul up; his soul shall be like a watered garden; his soul shall not lack any more, his soul shall find rest; his righteous soul; and at the end will receive the reward for his faith, even the salvation for his soul; to them that believe or have faith to believe to the saving of the soul; What benefit a man has if he win all the world but at the end he lose his soul; Be afraid of him .... who can throw you body and soul in hell and so on .... (Genesis 2:7; Psalms 23: 3; 49:8,9,15; Jeremiah 31:12; Ezekiel 18:4; Matthews 11:29; Hebrews 10:19; James 1:21; 5:19,20; 1 Peter 1:9; 2 Peter 2:8).

The spirit that Paul refers in 1Thessalonians 5:23 is the mind that need to be preserved without blemish, because it is the soul who can mind the things of the flesh or the things of the spirit.
If the spirit of the mind is carnal those evil thoughts will be harmful to the soul; if the spirit of the mind is spiritually those good thoughts will be life and peace to the soul.

Ephesians 4:23 Paul writing to the church he says to them, “be renewed in the spirit of the mind” or "be transform by the renewing of your minds."
You need to have your mind renewed so that you may discern what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
If your mind is renewed then you will be able to use the weapon of might of God (the shield of faith and of truth; the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God) to discern the heart and conquer rebellious strongholds.
You will be able to conquer through Christ Jesus our Lord (Psalms 91:4; Romans 12:1,2; 2 Corinthians 10:4,5; Ephesians 6:16,17).

The reason Paul wrote this epistle because the church of those times their inner men had a lot of problem dealing with the flesh and with the carnal mind.
The soul was always sinning because inside of them the old men was still controlling the mind and the body.
It was time for them, for the inner man to conquer and to subdue the body and have the mind preserved without blemish (Roman 8:4-8; 1 Corinthians 9:27).

People go around teaching that all evil thoughts come from the mind, but Jesus who is wiser than all of us and he teaches the church that evil thoughts come from the heart such as fornication, adultery, theft, murder, extortion, wickedness, deceit, lust, and evil eye, blasphemy, pride and they defile the man (Mark 7:14-23).

James also agree with Jesus Christ and he said to the church of God, "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you.
Clean your hands, O you sinners! And purify (what?) your hearts, O you of doubtful mind!."

Doubt is a fruit that come from the heart alright, but the soul is the one who mind on it.
And for this reason the soul needs to clean the heart with the word of God and throw the garbage out.
The soul needs to purify the heart.
Doubt as well believe are seed that man mind on it, and man sow it in the heart.
All evil thoughts come from, from the heart according the saying of Jesus Christ (Matthew 15:19; James 4:8).
Yes, it is the mind who bring up those thoughts, because God or Satan sow it in the heart for the soul to meditate or think of it.
But man are responsible of keeping the soil of his heart clean and beautiful.

Peter says to Ananias, "why has Satan so filled your heart that you should lie to the Holy Spirit (Acts 5:3)."
Satan filled his heart of lies and not his soul and there is where the evil thoughts is filled and come from, from the heart.

Evil thoughts are seeds that the devil sow in the heart and reap after its own kind.
Good thoughts are seed that God sow in your heart and reap after its own kind.
Good or bad thoughts are seed that men allow to be put or sown in the heart and reap after its kind.
Men are responsible of all seeds that was planted and kept in the soil of their heart and will reap after its kind.

The book of Hebrews 10:22 it says, "Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled and cleansed of evil thoughts and our body washed with pure water.
Here again it tell us that the heart needs to be sprinkled and cleansed of evil thoughts.
It is the heart that is full of evil thoughts and need to be sprinkled and cleansed.
And the soul is the one who clean it and purify it with the word of God.

In Proverbs 23:7 it says, "As he think (where?) in his heart (not in his soul), so is he… That is where it all begin in the heart, man in his heart think or mind those things that have been sown in the heart.
This is why Paul continually advises the brethren to be transformed by the renewing of the mind, so that they (the soul of men) can discern (the spirit of the mind) what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Peter the apostle said to the church, "casting all your cares upon God for he cares for you.
Be vigilant and be cautious, because your adversary, the devil, like a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour.
Rise up, therefore against him, as you are steadfast in the faith, knowing that your also suffered these same afflictions, but the God of all grace, who has called us to his eternal glory by Jesus Christ, whom God has given to us, will strengthen us to endure these little afflictions that we may be made steadfast and remain in him for ever" (1 Peter 5:7-10).

The enemy is like a roaring lion, but remember he is just like a roaring lion not a real lion.
He roar to scare you and get you to doubt his word in order to steal your blessing.
Satan's children has evil word and they dress themselves as lambs, but within them are ravening wolves that have come to mislead the children of the light (Matthew 7:15).
The thief does not come, except to steal and kill and destroy; but Jesus Christ has come that you might have life, and have it more abundantly (John 10:1,10).

The Lord said to the church, "Behold I am sending you like lambs among wolves; therefore be wise as serpents and pure as doves (Matthew 10:10).
Paul said the same thing he said, "My brethren, be not like infants in your intelligence; only to evil things be like innocent children, but in your understanding be mature" [1 Corinthians 14:20
The reason he said these words because he knows that the wolves are out there looking for an opportunity to get you, and if you are not wise as a serpent and pure as doves, and if you do not understand the word of the kingdom, immediately will come the wolves who is the body of Satan and they will snatches away or steal the word which has been sown in your heart and they will mislead you, and put in prison your souls so that you may not believe and be saved (Matthew 13:19; Mark 4:15; Luke 8:12).
Paul the apostle does not want the church to be infant in their intelligence, but only to evil things he wants them to be like innocent children because he knows the devil is out there walking about looking whom he can deceive and devour; he wants to kill, steal and destroy your soul to hell.

When you hear the voice of a stranger whom you do not know, immediately run away from him and you go straight to the good shepherd who is the watchful guardian of your souls.
A real good shepherd will not allow a ravening wolf dress like a lamb to come and seizes his sheep and scatters them.
On contrary a good shepherd who is watchful guardian of the souls, risks his life for the sake of his sheep and never let them get perish because the Father who gave those sheep to him to watch over is greater than all; and no man can snatch anything from his Father's hand.
The sheep is the shepherd responsibility and they will have to give an account to God for the way they have watched over the sheep (John 10:1-29; Hebrews 13:17).

The devil is a liar and you should discern the word that come into your heart because if the word you hear is not line with the word of God, it will cause confusion and division.
I am going to give you an example why you should discern the words that people preaches and teaches to you because if you don't discern it, immediately Satan will comes and snatches away the word and he will sow his own seed of lies, confusion and division so that you would not believe and doubt your own salvation.

My son and I, we were talking about an important topic about sin and forgiveness.
I explain to him if a man sin he has a chance to come back to God and be forgiven and be cleansed from all his unrighteousness.
I also told him that there are people who do not like to change their evil ways.
They don't obey God's word neither wants to reverence him.
And there are people who likes to play yo-yo with God.
They repent but their repented last for awhile and back again to the world of darkness; the same story repeat over again they come back to God and when they get tire of church they go back to the same old routine of life.
They don't wants to change no matter what you said or do to help them.
I said to my son the scripture says at the long road if they don't change their evil thoughts and bad habits they will end up losing their soul in hell.
God will not hear the prayer of the wicked man who still love to sins and don't wants to change his evil ways nor will God forgive their sins until they humble themselves and pray and seek his face and turn from their wicked ways.

I told him this is the way God hear, forgive and clean all your unrighteousness.
I told my son a story of a woman who was caught in adultery.
Jesus knew the mind of those who brought the woman to him, their intention were just to tempt him and find a reason to accuse him.
But what did he said to them?
He said to them, "He who is among you, without sin, let him first throw a stone at her… and when they heard it , they left one by one, beginning with the elders; and the woman was left along."
And what did Jesus said to the woman who had committing adultery?
In those time adultery was consider a crime and the sentence for a crime was to stone her to death.
That was the law of Moses.
Jesus said to the woman, " where are they? Did no man condemn you? She said, No man, Lord.
Then Jesus said to her, Neither do I condemn you; go away, and from henceforth, do not sin again" (John 8:1-11).
Jesus expect of her not to sin again.
When Jesus forgive you he expect you not to go back to the world of darkness, he expect you to follow his foot steps and obey his commandments and do what is right before the Lord.

Another sinful man who was sick for thirty-eight years who the Lord Jesus Christ healed; he got up from his quilt and walk and went his way.
After while Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, behold, you are healed; do not sin again, for something worse might happen to you than the first (John 5:1-14).
Jesus expect all the people whom he has forgiven of sin not to sin any more or else something worse might happen to them.

After I told my son all of these things, do you know what happen next?
That liar and disgusting devil came in the middle of the night and starting sowing seed of doubt in my son's heart about his salvation.
My son began to mind on what the enemy was planted in his heart and he thoughts in his heart that he did not deserve to be forgiven because of what he did in the past, he believe there was no need for him to come back to God and ask him for forgiveness of sin and cleanses him from all his unrighteousness.
Can you believe this, the devil was playing with his mind because he did not understand the word of God and he allow the devil to take advantage over him and steal the good seed that was sown in his heart.
The enemy knows how to play with your mind by twisting the word of God; he brings thoughts of confusion to try to separate you from God in order to destroy everything the Lord God has built in your heart.
This is why it is very important that man understand the word of God and discern the seed which is planting in his heart, because if you don't discern it, you might wake up one morning and find seed of tare that have poisoning your heart and separate you far away from God.

I sat down again with my son and explain to him all over again the word of God.
To explain to him the word of truth was not an easy task, but thanks God that my son is a good listener and at the end he was able to understand the message of the kingdom and he stood up firm on his feet very happy to know that he is still a child of God and devil is a liar.

Paul say to the church be led by the Spirit of God, his Spirit will bear witness to our spirit that we are the children of God.
It is with the spirit of the mind that man can mind things of spirit.
Paul advise to the church to set your mind on things above not on things on earth because he knows that the spirit of the mind can mind all these things.
Those in the world whom minds have been blinded by God, they have been blinded because they did not believe the gospel.
The minds who do not believe in the gospel will suffer the consequences of his action for not believing.
(Roman 8:4-7,14,16; 2 Corinthians 4:4; Ephesians 4:23,24; Philippians 3:21; Colossians 3:2).

The scripture says, "For if I pray in an unknowns tongue, my spirit prays, but my knowledge or understanding is fruitless.
What then shall I do? I will pray with my spirit and I will pray with my understanding also; I will sing with my spirit and I will sing with my understanding also.
Otherwise, if you say a blessing with the spirit, how can one who occupies the place of the unlearned say Amen to your thanksgiving, since he does not understand what you say? (1 Corinthians 14:14-16).

Here Paul was talking about you who is the one that pray with the spirit in an unknowns tongue, but your understanding is fruitless because you can not understand neither can you enlightened your fellow man who hear your blessing.
The real man of the inside of you can not understand neither can you fellow man who hear you can not understand your blessing because through the Spirit you speaks mysteries.
This is why Paul advise the church to interpret because he who interpret edify the church and if you prophesies then you are greater than he who speaks various tongues.
Paul says, If I pray, my spirit prays but my knowledge is fruitless, I will pray with my spirit, I will pray and sing with my understanding.
It is you who pray and sing with your spirit and with your understanding.
The sentence that said "I will pray with my ….", the words "I" is a subject pronoun (first person) and "my" is a possessive pronoun.
And the word "with my" mean something that belong to you or relating to you.
Relating for example: I will pray with my sister Susan or I will pray with my brother John.
Belonging for example: I will pray with my coat on or I will pray with my suit on or I will pray with my holy hands up.
You are praying with your spirit with the help of the Spirit.

Jesus Christ the word that speak to you they are spirit and life.
And word are seed of thoughts that can be good or evil depend who says it.
In the heart is where the seed of the spirit grow and come out of your mouth.
The bible says, "for the mouth speak from the fullness of the heart. For from within, from the hearts of men come evil thoughts ….
Good thoughts come from within you too; and those thoughts are what you say to other (Matthew 12:34; Mark 7:21).

Paul continue saying when an unlearned man or an unbeliever enter the church and a person prophesy, he will be convinced by all, and he will be set right by all.
Thus the secrets of his heart will be revealed, and then he will fall on his face, and he will worship God and say, Truly God is among you (1 Corinthians 14:5,6,22-25).
The seed which is in the unlearned and unbeliever heart is revealed through the Spirit and the soul of man can discern it and can knows all these things because he has the mind of Christ.
When the soul mind on spiritual things then the mind of man become the mind of Christ.
Paul writing to the church he said to them, "For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? (that mean man has a spirit in him) even so the things of God knoweth no man but the Spirit of God.
No man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him. Who is him? Him is the man.
Man has a spirit in him and man knows thing because his spirit show him.

Look what Paul says to the church, "Now we have received, not the spirit of the world (of darkness), but the spirit which is of God; that we may understand the gifts that are given to us by God.
What spirit God gave us?
It is a spirit that will help us to understand the gift of God.
Again Spirit teaches us or explain spiritual things to the spiritual minded.
The spiritual man discerns every thing, because we have the mind of Christ to discern it.
It is the spirit of our mind that has been renewed to have the mind of Christ in order for the soul to discern all things.
Therefore the mind of Christ is spirit who help us to understand the gift of God and the Spirit explains or teaches spiritual things to the spirit of our mind for the soul to speak in unknown tongue.
Again by being renewed in the spirit of our mind, we can have the mind of Christ to speak in an unknowns tongue and bless ourselves and also we can prophesy in the church to teach other.

Remember the bible also says, likewise the Spirit also help our weaknesses; when we don't know what is right and proper for us to pray for the Spirit prays for us with that earnestness which cannot be described.
And God who searched the hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, for the Spirit (help you to) prays for the saints according to the will of God (Romans 8:26-27).
Therefore it is understood that the Spirit of God and the spirit of Christ [the mind of Christ], together with the spirit of the mind, help the soul of man to speak in an unknown tongue.

We already know in the book of Hebrew 4:12, the author wrote to the Hebrews about the division between soul and spirit.”

The spirit mentioned above is the mind that reveal the thoughts sown in the heart for the soul to discern, and if it is God's word then the soul will think on it daily.

Ephesians 4:23, Paul referring the mind as spirit and louder than that a Rooster can not crow.
Through the Spirit the spirit of the mind become Christ's mind and man is able to mind on spiritual things that is life and peace.

Now we know the word divide the soul and spirit for a purpose and that purpose is for God to search the heart and discern the thoughts and the intention of the heart, and that is how God knows what is in the heart and the intention of it (Jeremiah 11:20; 17:10; Romans 8:27; 1 Corinthians 2:10; Luke 2:35; Hebrew 4:12; Revelation 2:23).

Man minds on the things of the Spirit and also man minds on the things of the flesh, because man can mind either one.
Remember the law of God is put into our minds for what purpose?
So that you can mind on it and meditate on it day and night; and he write his law into our hearts for the soul to discern it and also for the man to grow spiritually strong in the Lord.

Proverbs 20:27 it says, the spirit of man (remember according to the concordance of King James the word "spirit" means: soul, breath and so on) is the lamp or the candle of the Lord, searching all the inward part of the belly (heart).
That is how man can remember the word of God and obey his saying and can discern all things (Hebrews 8:10; 10:16).
The word of God divides the soul and spirit, for God to discerns the thoughts and the intention of the heart.

Proverbs 20:27 translation of King James Version bible it says: The spirit of man is the candle of the Lord, searching all the inward parts of the belly.

Now lets read the translation of the Holy Bible from Ancient Eastern Manuscript it says: The soul of a man is the lamp of the Lord, searching all the inward parts of the heart.

What we have here is the Holy Bible From Ancient Eastern Manuscript the word “spirit” and the King James Version bible the word “soul” and also the word “belly” and the word “heart.” And to find out if these words are translated correctly we need to search for more scripture in the bible that will agree with it.
If in case belly means heart then the heart can not be the spirit of man because the spirit of man is the candle of the Lord searches all the inward parts of the belly.
Both the “spirit of man” and the “inward part of the heart” are two different things.

If you believe the inward part of the heart is the inward man then who is the spirit of man? The inward man is not the inward part of the heart neither is the spirit of man the inward part of the heart, but the inward man or the spirit of man is the soul of man.
No man can see other man's soul because the soul of man is spirit.
If the spirit of man is the soul of man then it will make sense that the soul of man searches the inward parts of the belly (heart).

Lets search the scripture for the truth and find out what is the inward part and the belly?

You agree that the hidden man, the spiritual man and inward man is the same person, right?
Ok, so lets goes to Jeremiah 31:33 and lets read: But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts: and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Now let read, Hebrews 8:10: For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their minds, and write them in their hearts and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people.

In the book of Jeremiah it says, “their inward parts” and in the book of Hebrews it says, “their minds.”
These two chapters and verses proof the minds are inward parts.

Now lets find out if the belly is the heart.
When Jesus says, “out of your belly shall flows rivers of living water”, What belly he is talking about?
Remember Jesus said this concerning the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive.
The belly that Jesus was talking about here is the heart because Ezekiel 36:26,27 it says, "A new heart will I give you, a new spirit will I put within you… and I will give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you.
The Spirit is put within you, in your heart and the Spirit abide in the heart and not in the soul.
Jesus Christ said, "out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water" you can say it this way, out of your heart the Spirit shall flow like rivers of living water.
The belly is the heart because the heart is where the Father and his son and the Holy Ghost dwell.

Now for those who believe the mind and the soul are the same person.
If the mind and the soul are the same person then that mean the soul has to be the inward parts of the belly, right?
Wrong again, because you already read that the inward part is the mind and the belly is the heart and the bible also teaches us that man became a living soul, a living person and not an inward parts or mind.
Man are living soul in the likeness of God's image.

Now if you says the spirit is the heart then there is a big problem with your theory.
The scripture says, " The spirit of man is the candle of the Lord searching all the inward parts of the belly / the spirit of man is the candle of the Lord searching all the minds of the heart."
And if the inward parts are minds and the belly is the heart, then the spirit of man is not the heart.

"All the minds" are plural more than one mind, but "a soul" is single only one, how can both be the same thing and living in the heart of the spirit of man [single person]?
According to bible, it is the spirit [soul] of man that search all the minds [thoughts] of the heart; and the scripture tell us the inward parts is the minds of the heart.

Inward man of the heart or the owner of the heart or the owner of the rooms of the house, who is made in the image and likeness of God is the living soul and fit perfectly as the spirit of man.

Lets read again proverbs 20:27, Solomon said, “the spirit of man is the candle of the Lord, searching all the inward parts of the belly.”
And the scripture says, the soul who sin that soul shall surely die.

Paul said to the church in his time, to be carnally minded is death but to be spiritually minded is life and peace (Romans 8:4-8).

It is the soul who sin and die for meditating on evil thoughts of the heart.

For the soul to sin and die that soul has to be carnally minded and those evil thoughts are not pleasing unto God.
The soul who is the owner of the heart has charge over the room of his house to welcome or not welcome anyone.

Jesus stand at the door of your heart and he knock at the door; and the soul hear his voice and open the door to Jesus and let Jesus come in and Jesus comes in and sup with him, and he with him (Revelation 3:20).

Again, the minds is the inward parts that reveal all evil thoughts which cause man who meditate and practice it to sins and at the end spiritual death.

The saying of Solomon has to be study carefully.
The word “spirit” mentioned here has to be the soul of man or else it will contradict Solomon and Jesus Christ saying.

If you insist with your theory that the heart is the spirit of man then explain this: how can the heart searches all the inward parts of the belly, if the belly is the heart?
“The spirit of man” is not the heart, but the living soul no doubt about it.

Allow me to inform you again in the Concordance of King James Version, and any other Concordance books will tell you the word “spirit” is also known as “soul”, as well “breath.”, "Holy Spirit", and so on .......

Therefore, the soul of man is the candle or the lamp of the Lord.
All thoughts hide themselves in the heart and the soul search for it to see if it please God (2 Corinthians 10:3-5).

Peter wrote about the inward man of the heart but Solomon wrote about the inward parts of the belly, both the inward man and the inward parts is of the heart.
One said, the hidden man, and the other one said, the mind, but both of them are of the heart.

God's commandments you write it upon the tablets of the heart [Proverbs 3:1,3] Solomon said, "My son do not forget my law; but let your heart keep my commandment; how?.
Verse 3 will tell you how "....write them upon the tablets of your heart.
Solomon called the heart a tablet where God's commandments is written; you are the one who write it in the tablets of the heart (Joshua 1:7-9).

Jesus said, "my Father and I will come and make abode in you"
We know they came and make an abode in our heart.

Readers the heart is a place full of rooms and the soul occupy them which word.
Therefore we can come to a conclusion the soul is the spirit of man, the candle of the Lord searching all the minds of the heart.

If you are not convince and need more prove that the mind and the soul is not the same person then lets has Jesus Christ tell us.
Jesus says to his disciples, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might and with all your mind” (Matthew 22:37,38).
Here Jesus Christ tell us that the soul, mind and heart each of them can express love toward God, but they are not the same things.
Even thus we know that the mind and the soul are spirit created by God, yet the scripture tell us they are not the same thing.
Man is a living soul and not a living mind (Genesis 2:7).

God sent his only begotten Son Jesus Christ to die in the cross so that we may have salvation, health and prosperity through him.
Thanks God that his Spirit has renewed our mind, quicken our mortal body, and made our soul a quickening spirit through Christ Jesus our Lord.
God has created in us a new man in righteousness and true holiness (1Corinthians 15:45; Ephesians 4:24).

First Adam was made a living soul but the last Adam, Jesus Christ, a quicken spirit.
The same Spirit that has raised Jesus Christ from the dead has quicken our mortal body since then we, the church has the mind of Christ, cloths with Christ and walk as he walk and follow his good example, .

The soul of man as long there is breath of life and the Spirit of God dwells in him he can discern what is that good, acceptable and perfect will of God.
But when man die does his spirit (the breath of life) return back unto God who gave it?

When Jesus Christ was crucified on the cross and in the last hours he said, “Father into your hands I commend my spirit and having said this, he gave up the ghost.”
The margin in King James Version bible says it like this, “breathed his last.”
When Jesus Christ says "into your hands I commend my spirit", he was referring to the breath of life that return back to God.
When the bible talk about spirit or Spirit we have to study careful the meaning because the spirit or Spirit can be understood as: the Spirit which come from God, that which God has gave us for us to understand the gifts of God, our helper; the mind of Christ; the spirit of the mind; the breath of life; the soul of man and etc ..... (Ecclesiastes 12:7; 1 Corinthians 2:12; Ephesians 4:23).

Therefore the breath of life left Jesus Christ's body and return back to God who gave it and that is clear (Ecclesiastes 12:7; Luke 23:46).
For the soul to have long life he has to please God in all areas of his life.
The soul has to live a new and living way, holy before the Lord.
We need to think those things that are pleasing to God.
The word of God says, “Let us draw near with a true hearts and in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled and cleansed of evil thought and our body washed with pure water” (St. Mark 7:21-23; Hebrews 10:22).

Therefore after the soul do all these things that are pleasing to God then the soul will shine like the stars in sky and his light will become a wall of protection where no enemy can reach and steal, nor invade and destroy (Psalms 41:2; 107:20; 119:142; 138:7).

Don’t add neither takes away the word of God.
Search the scripture to see it for yourselves.
Thank you Father because you have guided me to write and reveal your word to your people and I have done my work but now it is up to them if they want to believe your saying. Whatever decision they make will be between you and them.
I pray also Father if there is any person who has any complain and doubt about your saying let him come to you and bring their request.
I am just a vessel that you use for your purpose and for you glory; I am just obeying your command.
Before I close, Father guide the readers through the Spirit to see and to understand your truth and not their truth.
Because their ways are not your ways and their thoughts are not your thoughts. Father help them just the same way you have guiding me to see and understand your truth.
Thank you again for hear me in Jesus Christ name. Amen.
